I had an amazing stay at this hotel !!! I loved the little touches like the cereal bars and porridge in the hotel room and tea and coffee . Loved the pub the staff were amazing a guy called Josh and bar lady laura ! They were so helpful literally couldn’t do enough for you , Super friendly and credit to your establishment !!! The location was perfect too .. really close to overground :-) I loved Wapping town too ! Lovely pubs all in walking distance I could have stayed a week! The only negative I’ll say is a lady called Claire in the bar area on Friday night literally ran to myself and my partner shouting at him for taking a small amount of toilet paper from the toilet to blow his Noes! And there was 2 couples with us to that witnessed this! Basically saying toilet paper is expensive and to ask for blue roll and not take it from the toilet .. I can honestly say I wanted to laugh so much as it was ridiculous how agressive she came across and it was literally 6 sheets in a row! Not a whole roll ! U would think he had stole the toilet seat the way she ran over to us ! Other than that it was an amazing place ! I was gutted Saturday night that it wasn’t open at 11-30 as we had great night Friday xx.

The hotel is located a bit outside of London main attraction. It's in Wapping which is peaceful location. It's closed to Wapping underground station. Surrounding with many restaurants and groceries. Room is quite large, clean and comfortable. Mini bar in room is free of charge. No private parking. Staffs are helpful even we haven't met. Due to late arrival and early check out. They provided the useful information for us. Lovely. It's a good deal for stay in London.

Chance find after a Mudlarking tour on the Thames - and much nicer than some other, bigger pubs nearby. Friendly staff, nice community vibe, and good food. Well worth a visit

Spent a night here over Christmas and wouldn’t stay again. It looks like they tried to create nice rooms but they look shabby and rundown and as if they didn’t put much effort into finishing the rooms. There were two holes in our bathroom walls, a very uncomfortable sofa bed for our son and it wasn’t particularly clean (might want to look under the sofa and pick stuff up) Not cheap, we paid £180 & definitely not worth it. Such a shame as a better finish and a thorough clean and it could be nice.

Really don't go here to watch football as South African barman shuts off sound half way through game. Lucky around the corner in Turners old Star you are allowed to watch the football. Great game as ended up 3-2

Everything was spot on, with this perfect little hidden gem. The streets are quiet and safe, and only a 2 min walk from the underground. You're close to Tower Bridge, but tucked away from the hustle and bustle. From the minute we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome. There's a separate entrance to the letting rooms, so you didn't have to walk through the pub. Our room was clean, warm and comfy. Didn't expect the pots of porridge, orange juice and breakfast bars. Had a great night's sleep. We went to the bar for a drink, before we went out and were again, made to feel very welcome. I've never been to Wapping before, but I'll definitely be back to this gem!!

We regularly visit this pub on a Sunday as its a meet in the middle destination for my family. What can i say, the staff are super friendly and helpful especially with our very young children who just want to wonder around and explore. The dinners never disappoint, sunday roasts are a firm favourite amongst my family and i!

We stayed here for 1 night while visiting our Son. Staff friendly, room clean and bed comfortable. Good shower. Tea, coffee, orange juice, breakfast bars and instant porridge provided in the room. Would stay again if in the area as good value for money compared to other hotels/guest houses in this area.

What a fantastic hidden gem in the heart of Wapping. We stayed here for 3 nights for my Birthday. My husband emailed ahead to ask for flowers and champagne in the room. Staff went above and beyond to make it special. We had friends meet us for lunch on Sunday. The roast was amazing and the staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough to help us. We will definitely be back again when in London. Thanks Dockers Inn for making my Birthday special

This establishment is terrible, entirely because of the exceptionally rude owner. We were asked to leave because we ‘weren’t drinking fast enough’, as apparently there’s a rule on how much you can drink in a timeframe. The owner went on a swearing rant calling us all names under the sun, I’ve never heard anything like it, and got exceptionally aggressive. Avoid this place at all costs.

Quirky place to stay. Great welcome. Best to check what room you are in, we were in room 8. Ok for us Because we are small people, but if you are on the larger side, you will struggle as it’s a very compact room and ensuite. Comfy bed, good range of refreshments. Lovely shower. No view, which was disappointing. Brick wall. Another disappointment was a karaoke in the pub, which didn’t stop until 1145. not great for a good night sleep, the base sounded like it was in the room with us. Could have done with a summer duvet instead of a winter duvet in July. It’s very hot.

🚇 Island Gardens 🍺 £5.30 Heineken The Ferry House is located close to the banks of the Thames at the southern edge of the Isle of Dogs in East London. The nearest station is Island Gardens on the DLR. The Ferry House was established 1722 and is the oldest surviving pub on the Island. The pub’s location near to the old ferry point across to Greenwich meant it was ideally placed to cater for travellers crossing the river. This is a compact one bar pub with cosy rooms either side of the main bar. The servery is centrally located and has Courage lettering at the top of the back bar. Just off the main bar to the right is a snug room with sofas, a period fireplace and a Tv. At the back left of the pub is another cosy room with a Fives dartboard, a flat screen and a fish tank. The decor consists of white T&G wall panels, burnt orange wall paper and a boarded floor. The room at the back is carpeted and has dark wood panelling and beams. At the rear of the pub is a sunken walled beer garden. The beer line up was a selection of familiar mainstream beers and included one cask ale. I decided on a Heineken, my pint was great, price point was reasonable at just over a fiver. There is no food served here at present. We arrived around 4.30pm on an overcast Saturday afternoon in October. The pub was fairly busy with locals sat around the bar. The atmosphere was chilled and laidback with a local pub feel. The service was good, the chap who served us was pleasant and courteous. Visiting @theferryhousepub was an enjoyable experience, I loved the history that surrounds this pub. The reasonably priced beer, comfortable surroundings and a laidback local pub feel made for a relaxing stay at this watering hole. 📅 12th October 2024 More London Pub info @londonpubmap 🍻
