woorst breakfast ever. My friend are I have been coming regularly for ages, only becuase it is convenient to us both. The standard of food has got progressively worse and today was BAD. sausage and bacon lukewarm and egg cold. Won't be coming again and the service is abysmal. Only one person serving, making teas/coffees and taking the payment. The queue was very long.

After failing on our mission to use the nearby St Erth park and ride to get into St Ives, we drove here to make a new plan for the afternoon and have lunch. It was a lovely calming atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff were so friendly and nice. Our eldest son is autistic and it was just the right place for lunch after the change of our plans. The food came in really good time too and was very tasty. It was really quiet in the restaurant and I don't know why as it's a little gem!

Entrance poorly signposted and we went in the 'wrong' one which only people without dogs were allowed to use. Had to walk all the way back round in poorly covered sales area with puddled floor to go back in the other door on the opposite side, getting soaked in the process. Garden centre poorly laid out, maintained and had an odd smell..Won't be going back.

some time ago they changed the cooked breakfast and added black pudding. My friend and i both hate black pudding. Originally they swapped the black pudding for something else. We went a couple of weeks ago and we ask for something instead of the black pudding to be told we could not. They would just leave it off the platge but still chanrge the same. There are always long queres because the staff have two speeds. stop and reverse. ~I complained to head office over a week ago and no one has replied apart from saying the local branch will be in touch which they have not. We go there as it is conveneitn for us to meet but will not be going back unless things improve

We went for lunch. The fish finger sandwich was made using budget fish fingers. They were dry and tasteless and cost nearly £10! After getting a refund, which took a while, the green-haired girl didn’t apologise or offer me a replacement. She was surly, unhelpful and made us all feel unwelcome. We won’t be going back there!

On a business trip to St Ives we called in on way home for a late lunch but unfortunately because of staff shortages lunch had stopped being served at 2pm so had to make do with coffee and cake which was fine and tasty but, oh dear, what a sad, drab and soulless place the cafe is. It's a garden center so where are the plants and botanic pictures? Honestly I think I've sat in hospital cafes that were more inviting. It's only saving grace is that it was clean.

We are for lunch at 1:15. Wanted something simple so we ordered Ham Egg and chips x 2. Served by very polite staff. When our meal arrived we were sadly disappointed. Chips were freshly cooked. But, the ham was cut so thin you could see the plate through it. One slice, I don’t think that they could buy cheaper. The eggs looked like they had been leftover from breakfast and wormed up under the grill. Not a good experience at all. What a shame could and should have been a simple enjoyable lunch, it wasn’t. Lesson learned.

Oh dear... Not one to write reviews but honestly this cafe needs to sharpen up their act! Looonnng wait for a drink with a woman shouting "we've got no bacon left!" To a little old man waiting for his all day breakfast. The people serving (two women) kept wandering in and out of the kitchen and seemed surprised to receive an order. All the tables were dirty and not cleared. There were no teaspoons. Shame because it could be a good little cafe for pensioners and young families -especially with the £1 unlimited tea/coffee and soup and cheap food for kids.

For £6.75 for a dry no condiments chicken burger (with no chips and instead hash browns as they didn't have chips). Appalling. There are 4 staff in the kitchen across the counter, serving and kitchen. Plenty to perform the basic task. I would have expected at least mayo in the chicken burger. Whilst they also didn't have chips, they also didn't have sausages. Considering that half their menu has either sausages (breakfast) or chips it's a bit of a sad attempt. At best this was worth £3. No way was it worth £6.75.

Says it was open till 8pm went to get food at 7pm and it wasn't even open looked like it hadn't even been open this evening. This is terrible if you say you are open then open or change the opening times.

We stopped here by chance as we had been delayed. We were a family party of eight adults. The staff went out of their way to fit us in and look after us. We had a combination of Jacket potatoes. sandwiches, cakes and homemade scones with clotted cream and Jam. I had the crab sandwich made with fresh whole meal bread filled with crab the freshest side salad and loveliest dressing. This review is late because I've been ill since returning from Cornwall but couldn't not review this amazing venue and highly recommend a visit.
