Do Drop Inn in Basingstoke and Deane

Food served here is a must try for all. Could not recommend more, reasonably priced during the week and very well priced on Sunday for the roasts for the amount of food you get. Friendly staff and good atmosphere EE when busy

Superb food, beef and pork roasts amazing, beg lovely, cauliflower cheese in loads of sauce, Yorkshire puddings huge and crispy... huge portions too... Thoroughly recommend it !

This pub has been recently refurbished and they have done a really good job. Nice bar area, and a good sized resuranut. Nicely kept beers and a good choice too. Food was excellent, home cooked and served by very friendly staff. A really nice place to go for lunch or dinner and at very reasonable prices. It deserves to be busier so give it a go!

We poped it in for a spot of lunch. As the Do Drop Inn has not been opened for long, under its new name we thought we would give it a go. We knew this venue as the cricketers. Since then Its had a total referb but a sympathetic one keeping some of the old characters, we both ordered beef burgers and chips which were excellent, the burgers were tender and juicy we both thoroughly enjoyed them. Our only criticism was the food was served on a wooden platter, we found that because of the way the burgers were stacked made it hard to cut and eat without making a mess, we will ask for plate next time as we found it impossible to eat without cutting it. The barman Tom is a very attentive and friendly guy it will be a pleasure to return.

Everything we had was superb and the steak was out of this world, without question the best I’ve ever had anywhere, the atmosphere was great, staff were super friendly and the price was fantastic. Will be coming back and will recommend to everyone

After a refurbishment and a new name the Do Drop Inn is open. Run by Mags and staffed by a very welcoming team the DDI is nicely decorated and furnished with all new tables and chairs plus all accessory's. Nice touch the relaxed setting area with settee and chairs. Serving good range of drinks and a menu of very tempting food. Our first try was the Sunday lunch and what a great choice (Great Chef roast beef melted in the mouth) excellently cooked and presented, nothing too much trouble. Vegetables served separately so were the great roast potatoes. Gravy boat would have been nice. The veg being just a little hard for my wife.
