Arrived here for a quick breakfast never got a table they said there fully bookd so got told we could have takeaway. So then a guy walks in 5 mins later hasnt booked & got a table. When we asked she said hes only gettn a coffee which was a lie he got a full breakfast and a coffee we are not impressed with that at all.

A very lacklustre performance today. Such a shame as I had previously had very good experiences in here. Unfortunate to say I won’t be back. Not the warmest welcome at the door however was willing to see by that. Was eventually sat down only to be given menus 10 mins later. I ordered the special wrap which was extortionate (£13.95). I wish I took a picture as the plate itself was just pathetic. A wrap which wouldn’t even suffice a 5 year old, a stingy portion of chips, and the saddest looking salad I’ve ever seen. Additionally I never received my soup either, in which I had to say about having taken off the bill. No napkins, no spoons for our soup, coffee sitting there and nobody to bring it over. The place was just in such disarray. Lastly to conclude not even a goodbye as we left.

I've just left after having a supposedly luxury baked potato, well if that was at 8,95 I wouldn't like to see the other ones,I ordered tuna cheese and onion on it,first of all the potato was tiny ,with one tablespoon of tuna and hint of cheese with hardly any onion ,the side salad was two small leaves a sprinkle of dressing ,a complete rip off ,won't be back

Friendly welcome. Food lovely and generous portions. Service was slow and even when not busy and lots of staff on, our table wasn’t cleared. We sat with plates in front of us for a long time and staff walking past.

I have had great service here every time I have been in (and I can't even eat here due to medical diet needs), and the people I know who can eat here swear by the food👍

They have a selection of gluten free options available. I got a jacket potato and cheese with a side salad, very tasty. But it was hot enough so I asked them to microwave it just to warm it up again. Which they where happy to do. I would definitely go again.

Good good, nice welcoming staff!

First time visit and the place was full but asked to wait for 10 minutes, but actually seated in 5 minutes. Service was a bit slow but the food was excellent and the staff very griendly. A problem with lack of ingredients for 2 desserts was resolved by staff. Overall 8/10 as but nearly a 9/10. Will definitely be returning.

We ordered a buffet for our company summer party, it was so straight forward, delicious food, driver was on time and pleasant. We also had some food left over and donated it to the Glasgow homeless shelter. Would definitely recommend for any party.

A very busy place and maybe now raving on too much. Whilst food lovely very disappointed in service. Staff lovely but run off their feet had to wait 45 minutes to be served then time waiting for food.

Fabulous Cafe food Is freshly prepared you don't need to wait too long for your order to be taken and the prices are very reasonable I will be recommending it and I will be coming back for more 5*

Visited with my niece for lunch, food was lovely and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Staff were also very kind, glad to have finally visited will be back.

Visited for breakfast recently and ordered the biscoff pancakes from the new menu - they were absolutely delicious! My partner ordered the black pudding stack and really enjoyed it. Also the lady who served us at our table was so friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to go back!

Hadn't been able to get here for a while but my friend and I decided we deserved a wee treat. Its really nice to be recognised and made to feel really welcome in a place which is so popular. The staff were great as usual - we had a wee laugh about all the cakes I planned to have. They always have a great selection - so I went for the one with the most calories! Well, we were treating ourselves! It was good to see the tables and chairs being properly cleaned too before people sat down, not just getting a quick wipe over. We're looking forward to coming back again soon.

Visited recently with my husband and sons. We all thought the food was excellent and very reasonably priced, and the staff were all fabulous, so friendly and welcoming. Will be back soon!

Visited with family and we were all very impressed with the service, quality of food, cleanliness and social distancing measures in place. Three of us ordered from the regular menu and one from the specials board - we all really enjoyed our food. Everything was really fresh, hot and incredibly tasty. Staff were so lovely and attentive despite it being a very busy lunch service and we did not have to wait too long for anything. Couldn’t have asked for more - will definitely be back. Delicious!

My partner and I met my parents here for lunch recently. Our first visit after several recommendations - We weren't disappointed. The place has a really inviting atmosphere and all the staff were faultless in their service and very pleasant. The menu offered a good selection between more substantial dishes as well a lighter options (and catered well for vegetarians also). We didn't have to wait long for our order and the meals themselves were... well... delicious! Will definitely be back.

Very nice venue with a comprehensive lunch menu. Good social distancing measures with all staff adhering to wearing masks and cleaning routines.Service was excellent and the food was well prepared and tasty and friendly. I recommend you book a table and enjoy the experience. Highly recommended.

We were really looking forward to having lunch here, but it didn't live up to our expectations. We booked and arrived on time. The booth we were given was right next to the entrance and exit door,and as people were going in and out we were frozen cold. We asked if we could move as there were 2 other booths empty. We were then told that they had been booked, we were astonished that 2 empty booths had been reserved. Having asked the question again the girl said she would ask the manager about changing. So they gave us another booth next to the one we were sitting in. So we ordered our meals. The starters were tasteless (Brucittas).Then we waited a long time for our main meals (I wonder why that was?????) But yet again the 2 meals of pasta were so spicy (again you wonder why) that we never finished them. Disappointed very.we won't be back.

Always friendlyAlways busyjustified as we've sat in for dinner and lunch on more than one occasion and the food has always been great.we generally get take out as a wee treat on a Sunday the cold and hot sandwich selection is fantastic cannot rave enough.

Visited here with 2 friends for a late lunch. It was very busy but we had prebooked so our table was reserved. Nice menu with a good selection of starters and mains. Lots of pasta and salad dishes. I had salmon salad which was a good-sized portion of fish and lots of peppers, lettuce, nuts etc. Very enjoyable. Great desserts too (not huge portions but very tasty). Bill for 3 mains with soft drinks was £35 - pretty average I think. Good service throughout and a pleasant environment. It’s quite local for me although this was my first visit here - I will be back.

Delicious food, limited menu because of covid but the caprese steaks were amazing. Felt very comfortable with the social distancing in the restaurant. Cutlery and condiments are left on an extra table at the end of where you are seating so servers don’t have to have contact with you, all staff wearing face masks and a lot of tables are cleared away to make extra space.

Can’t recommend D’lish highly enough. The service and food are always superb. Immaculate and current guidelines adhered to for extra piece of mind.

Been back a few times since D’lish opened back up and am very impressed with the way Gillian and the staff have adapted to the new regulations. Details are taken for track and trace and there are hand sanitizer stations at the door . The food is always lovely and fresh and it’s great to have them ( and their amazing apple and cinnamon slice ) back .

We have been a few times since re opening and I have got to say it’s the best place for a socially distanced coffee or lunch ... well done Gillian and team for such a fantastic experience.... would highly recommend it for a safe relaxing “new normal” experience

Had lunch here this week. Very busy but food average. What concerned me was the lack of measures in place to ensure distancing. Despite booking in advance we were put at a table beside the door used for takeaways. Constant stream of people entering immediately next to our table many of whom were not wearing a face covering. Staff doing their best in difficult circumstances.

We went for a lunch recently and were shocked with the lack of measures in place for covid . Not one staff member had a face covering or visor on, and not socially distancing from one another either. This made us feel very uncomfortable, especially when serving food and drinks. At that point admittedly we should have left. There was no sanitising station at the door of the cafe which I have seen in other establishments either. Very disappointing, as we are regular customers at d’lish, but sadly won’t be back . Food was ok , service very slow and waited nearly an hour for a fairly straightforward lunch, which was then left at the service hatch for quite some time and was cold when it got to us .

Returned after lockdown, and remains a good food bistro. Definitely will be back again and again. Prices good, tables clearly socially distant, very clean tables. Service was very good and attentive. Decided against the all day Sunday breakfast, available when we went still at lunchtime. Simple chicken & chorizo penne and chicken & mushroom penne had by each of us. Well made and plentiful chicken, even the small portion taken by partner (chorizo maybe could have been more, but I’m being picky). Strawberry dessert for me was delicious- not over burdensome on the stomach, or over creamed, as can often be the case at other places.

Living locally this is our go to place for coffee lunch and have even had the evening meal ( they do great deals in the quieter colder months) hubby always has chicken and chorizo pasta .... which is always great ... their garlic bread and bread basket are also great .... can’t really fault the place .... yes it’s busy so book ... the staff are all fantastic.... it’s a must try

Just picked up a vegan bagel for my lunch from the Deli counter and a Soya latte. Will definitely be back to try out the lunch menu there as they have many great vegan options !

This place is a hidden gem! As you enter, you are greeted with a lovely smiley face. The place was absolutely bouncing and I was concerned I wouldn't get a table however the lovely lady with dark hair and glasses said this wouldn't be a problem if we were willing to wait 10 mins. After we were seated we were presented with two extensive menus with everything you could want for lunch options. We waited around 20 mins for our food which was expected due to the amount of people dining there at peak times. The food came, it was well presented and every mouthful was delicious from start to finish. We finished our meal with a lovely slice of coffee and walnut cake which could give Mary Berry a run for her money, along with a big mug of steamy coffee. This was my first visit here and i will most definitely be back. It's a big fat YES from me D'Lish :)!

Went for Kunch, having reserved a table. I would say this was a must, because the place was packed within 20 Minutes of our Noon arrival. Service is reasonable considering the crowd. When Staff do arrive if called-over, the response was quick, which was good. The food is okay, just some tweaks that would consolidate a better tasting product. I had a Chicken Breast Burger, Whitchurch come with “Cubed Potatoes”. I asked for Fries/Chips, and was told, “We don’t do Fries here”. Unfortunately, they DO, except they are 1/3 the size of a conventional Chip, under the nomenclature of “Cubed Potatoes”. It’s a Chip, crunchy pieces (NOT a “Cube” by the way, more small Parallelogram) of cut-up Potato, deep-fried crispy outside, with Creamy inside. They were great, but what the heck is this, ‘We don’t do Chips” Malarkey? So, the “Chicken Breast Burger”, unseasoned flat Chicken piece, with the Lettuce & Tomato, and Red Onion, all fine, but needed seasoning on the Meat. Not sure, but looked suspiciously like a Frozen item. The cost, £10.50. Sorry, that is overpriced. Only 1 other of the other 3 members of our group, commented about their Lunch items, which was served incorrectly prepared, and was replaced. Everything served, certainly looked nice, so my review is purely based on my meal, and one main item having to be corrected from what was ordered. The atmosphere was warm, modern, cosy, and the staff were very busy, but friendly and attentive, if overstretched a little bit, just a bit though because our servers were good at attending to what we needed.

I don’t like to leave a negative review but I was quite annoyed. I came with a relative here on Saturday for lunch – she hasn’t been before but I come here regularly with my friends. We book a table and have a good old gab – the staff are lovely and the food is always great.I hadn’t been at the weekend before so I expected it might be very busy but it wasn’t too bad. The girl told us we could only have a table for an hour though but I didn’t mind that because we were visiting up at Hairmyres so we weren’t planning on staying too long. We were handed menus quite quickly but after that it was if we had been forgotten. Eventually I managed to catch the eye of one of the staff who came over to take our order. Because of the time delay we decided to only have soup and coffees. We got our soups quickly enough but after this it was if we had become invisible. I wanted to order another coffee but I could not get the attention of any of the staff because they seemed to be more interested in having a chat behind the counter. When a girl finally came over to take away our dishes I asked for the bill and to pay by card. I got the bill but no card machine appeared. By this time our hour was almost up so I just went up to the counter to pay. Again I tried to get someone’s attention to pay our bill. The staff member who took our payment seemed more interested in being on her phone. I seem to have gone on a bit but I was so disappointed after telling my relative how good it is. And why tell a customer they can only have a table for an hour then basically ignore them?

Been here a few times now and always end up leaving dissatisfied. As soon as you enter it’s chaotic. You are pointed to your table then you need to manoeuvre through the maze of tables to get to your own. When finally seated you wait ages for the waiter to come and take your drinks order... by that time you are ready to order your food also. When waiter eventually arrived we said we were ready to order food also ... but no we were shot down in flames and were told there was a cue system and can’t skip the process. Mind blown!! Food came was average and felt it was very overpriced. Staffs attitudes not great also. Absolute fiasco trying to pay for food. Will definitely not be back. If you are planning on visiting proceed with caution.

(excuse the pun but...) Absolutely delicious. Food and service on par with many a good restaurant and above many in the locale. We had always presumed this place was a cafe only (ie with evening cafe fare), but passing one Sunday seen how busy place was and looked at reviews. Good reviews read, so we thought why not... and my oh my were we surprisingly impressed. Had starter of black pud & chorizo salad, and was well beyond expectations- good quality black pud (Stornaway) and well accessory chorizo, and nice dressing. Partner has chicken & bacon dish, with rice, from evening menu, and the empty plate at end (yes, not one drop left, not even a grain of rice) said it all. I had one of the daily specials - salmon fillet glazed with honey & mustard, with peashoots and chorizo, and feta cheese. Wasn’t sure how mix of salmon, feta and chorizo would be work, but wow did it just. I asked for the recipe!! I could have this dish on a regular basis and never tire...it was the most tastiest plates of food. Finished off with cake of the day and ice-cream for partner; cheese board for me. Again, not a drop or spec left on either plate. Added to the 2 & 1/2 glasses of wine, plus soft drink and coffee, and all for under £60.00, and the friendly and charming staff...we will be back. Not just highly recommended.... GO and enjoy, you will not be disappointed.

When you spend a lot of your time living in hotels away from home you get so sick of the standard food available in most fast food or even sit in dinners. A man can only eat so many greasy burgers (at least in my opinion) and random deep fried things.There is about 20 of us working on site and this without question is everyones favorite place. The food tastes amazing, it fills you up and it just makes you happy to eat it. I feel great afterwards and honestly I just want to go back every day so I can try all the soups, salads, sandwiches and other goodies.On a bonus note the decor is on point. I love this place plane and simple.Special shout out to my main guy "roasted red pepper soup" you make life better friend!

Last night we had a lovey meal with friends. The restaurant was warm and well lit. Staff were very attentive and the food quality was excellent.We choose form the early evening menu and the main menu. The group had a mix of dishes from club sandwiches to steaks. All were well presented and of good quality. I would recommend this restaurant. If visiting at a peak time I would advise that you book

Absolutely love this place! Have been a regular since it opened and have never had a bad experience. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is really good. Cakes and scones are made on the premises and main meals are varied and always delicious! Would definitely recommend it!

I have been to D’lish many many times & have to say that the food is always top notch. Have never had a bad meal. Always my first choice when going out for breakfast or lunch. Nice atmosphere & the staff are lovely & friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone. Best to reserve a table at the weekends as usually busy & saves you having to wait. Xx

Their service isn’t the most attentive but come on, it’s always heaving in there so it’s understandable they don’t have the luxury to spend a lot of time per customer.

The cajun chicken pasta was not good, the sauce tasted like a fajita packet poured into cream and the chicken was dry. Also took 20 minutes to get the card machine as the staff were stood talking to each other. Wouldn't return.

Good place for snack or meal. One of East Kilbrides hidden gems. Good food , good variety of choice all served by pleasant helpful staff.

Ate here today for lunch. Baked potato with tuna, not the best I have ever had but generous size and tasty enough. Very small salad garnish. My daughter had the Cajun chicken quesadilla which she said was lovely. We were a bit later than normal lunchtime so got a seat ok though it was still quite busy. Staff we spoke with were pleasant. Bill with a soft drink and a tea was just over £20 so fairly expensive for a lunch.

D’lish catered some sweet treats, desserts and tray bakes for my wedding in August this year.

Come here all the time with my friends and the staff are always so friendly (especially Pauline). The soup and panini is perfect for a lunch out. Would recommend this place to everyone!

Went for breakfast this morning to this little gem! I had the 5oz ribeye steak and eggs with hash browns. You can choose the way you'd like your eggs cooked, I choose poached and by god were they good poached eggs!! My other half choose the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and we both had cappocinos with hazelnut syrup (which I didn't want to end!). We both thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the service was just fabulous. We had only popped in because it was close to Hairmyres Hospital but we'll definitely be back. The specials board for dinner looked amazing! This isn't just breakfast it's proper treating yourself!! Thank you for a lovely experience. We'll be back soon!!

Heard brilliant things about this place including my partner so popped in the other as we were down that way and have to say loved it.

We have visited here on a couple of occasions because the food (particularly the breakfasts) have been lovely but every time we have been we leave saying the same thing “they need staff training”

Had a lovely lunch. Food excellent. Early evening set menu has a variety of dishes and very good value. Went back for coffee and cake. Delicious!!! Definitely lived up to the name.

Myself and two friends visited this restaurant last night. We all agreed that the meal was excellent, especially the seabass which was cooked to perfection. I've been for breakfast and lunch on a few occasions and always come away with a good impression. Dinner was quite different with a change of mood lighting and atmosphere, just lovely. Must also mention the young female staff who were on attendance, they could not have been any more pleasant and helpful as they were....well done girls! We'll definitely be back!

Went to lunch with Mum & Dad for Father’s Day, we where told we had to be off table by 3pm that was ok with us but we waited 20 mins for order to be taken ! When food came it looked like it had just been flung onto plate no garnish just chicken burger and some small square potatoes. When we finished our food we ended up putting plates to end of table to highlight we where finished and would like to order desert. Service not great !! Won’t rush back

Went for lunch with my mum and was very disappointed. We both ordered the lentil soup and when it arrived it was puréed like baby food and we only got 2 little bits of bread with it and by little I mean little!! We were charged £4.50 per bowl which I think is ridiculously expensive for what we got and where we were. Upshot is we will NOT return and would NEVER recommend.

Lovely place, nice food. I ordered a full breakfast and I asked to change the black pudding for mushrooms. I was told this would be an extra cost! So they would have removed the black pudding and given me mushrooms but I would have had to pay an extra charge! Ridiculous! I have been in many establishments where you can substitute an item free of charge. That’s a bit greedy if you ask me!

Have been in here a few times for a coffee as well as lunches. Service is always fast and friendly and if it happens to be a bit busy the staff always apologise for any delay. The food always seems fresh and home made and has always been tasty. We find it good value for money as well. Only downside is parking which can be a problem as it is a shared retail park area but I guess that it outside their control anyway. Will remain regular customers for sure!

I visited D’Lish today with family members and it was excellent. The welcome was warm and friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. The menu was varied with a wide selction of dishes (including all day breakfast at weekends) at a range of prices. The service was excellent and attentive and our food was delicious. Great coffee and cakes too. I will certainly return and would highly recommend D’Lish. Oh, and call to book a table to avoid disappointment!

Recently had my husband's special birthday dinner at D'Lish. Couldn't recommend them enough. Very accommodating, nothing was a bother. Food was amazing and staff very friendly. Have eaten here before for dinner and lunch and food is always first class. Well worth a visit

Ordered a cooked breakfast. Asked to swap one of my 2 eggs for beans. Was told this was not possible, I had to take the 2 eggs. I could however add beans on for an extra charge. Funny that! Plus I think £2.20 for a can of orange/apple juice is a little excessive. The food, when it arrived tasted like it was all made from low quality ingredients and everything was under seasoned. Not worth it.
