Soggy , Took ages and food was cold on arrival

Always takes over an hour to deliver. No sauces

Still very hot considering the snow. Tasty as always!!

How is it possible to always send me the wrong drink when I even wrote it in the notes. 5-10 orders always wrong drinks

I came here a few years ago and then again this weekend. The service compared to my previous visit was much improved. Good was really tasty, came out in good time and price was good as well. If you are staying over in Halifax and want to grab a bite to take back to your hotel this is a good place to get it. There's no pizzas/garlic bread/kebabs. But if you like chicken plenty of choice. I think it was called the mega deluxe chicken burger I had and my partner had a chicken wrap both as meals. They come with fries, a drink and sauce.

Not the first time the chicken was pink . Informed the takeaway and said to bring back , shouldn't be pink in the first place . Would love to go again if I want food poisoning :)

2nd time we've ordered. enjoyed the food both times,and quick delivery.

I decided to buy my family food from here, basically spend some of my hard earned money with this takeaway, in total it came to around £45. For that type of money I expect my food to be fresh, these lot decided to give re-fried fries. I don’t care if it wasn’t that busy, if someone’s willing to spend their money on your establishment the least you can do is give fresh food, don’t take the p!ss, and give dried out chicken and re-fried fries that were kind of stale and crispy.

10 pound minimum spend on card??? It’s a chicken shop man. Let me pay with card anyway for 6.99 but either scrap that completely or bring it down to a fiver, mental in 2024

Zero savers and why cheeseburger take 25 minutes?

food was never even delivered and couldn't get help from shop or just eat the driver asked for a backup code then put it as delivered but if he was here why would he need a backup code if I had the code the shop just blamed just eat horrible service.

Disgusting claims to of delivered the food nothings come, when I rang the restaurant they say I have to contact the driver through just eat, no help at all pretty much just robed me, will not be getting my business again.

Delivery driver was shown on the map sat down a back alley for 10 minutes then later waited outside of my house for another 10 minutes before getting out the car, at which point chips had gone soggy and food luke warm

Delivery driver left food on the floor in the garden instead of knocking. Very dissapointed.

The food was freezing cold I’m unhappy with my order

Ordered a £15.99 boneless box. Service was poor. Had to ask for the drink it came with. Once the take away was opened it was missing both sides. Apart from that the food was shocking. Never again.

Good value for money with big portions. Delivered on time and nice and hot.

ordered other day chicken was nice but im not happy with my order this evening the chicken was really salty and I ordered the combo box meal with 3 pieces of chicken chips 1 chicken strip and 2 wings I only received 3 pieces of chicken and chips the rest was missing

Cheap, piping hot, so tasty! The regular sizes actually fill you up. Absolutely love this shop!

Ordered my food at 4pm it is now 18:10 and I still haven’t got it. They’ve just marked the food as been delivered and I’m assuming it’s not going to be delivered at all. Im hungry and annoyed now. What a waste of time. If you can’t be on just eat due to not having drivers just don’t do just eat it’s that simple or get more drivers.

normally service is great ,but on this occasion the food was not delivered even though the app said it was , I informed the restaurant and they said that their job was to make the food after the just eat driver has picked it up it is no longer their responsibility . while I do understand what they are saying that does not help the matter that the food is still missing ,they still have the contact details if the driver . very disappointed.

Ordered didn't get all the order things missing rang dixy straight away and said yeh driver left them erm it's your job to make sure the order is right and all items taken never ordering again from dixy chicken

early was fine, was the delivery driver. I heard him nock on door but I was bizzy doing something then 5 seconds later he nocked agian. then I manged to get to the door. as I opened the door , I see that the driver had left my garden and gate still open & he left my food on the side wall of my garden. this is not appropriate. bottom of my bag was wet . other than that food is always brilliant

Never even turned up. Said delivered nothing, we have a ring door bell and still nothing. Called the restaurant told to call back in 5 minutes while everyone in the restaurant were laughing. I then called back as requested and he asked what I ordered I answered he then said just eat laughed and put the phone down. Won’t be using this restaurant ever again - joke of customer service

Burger and strips were hot and delicious. The fries were cold soggy and disgusting. The delivery time changed but it did arrive at the very limit of the original time frame given so guess it was busy. All in all yeah satisfied with what I got.

Asked for peri peri seasoning and a can of pineapple juice, the fries didn’t have any seasoning and was given a can of passion fruit. Just Eat decided to not acknowledge this hence why am leaving the review on here.

Dunno if this has been taken over but when we ordered couple years ago it was lovely. Not this time. Wrong drink sent,over an hour and 20 minutes to arrive,food was all cold,had to warm it up. Dry,bland, tasteless. Not worth the money at all. Wish we'd read the reviews before ordering. Awful!

Rang up and tried to charge me 12.99 for 2 chicken burgers when there’s a poster on the window that says 2 for 9.99. They’re out here to scam people. And when I confronted the man he said ‘oh you want the offer’ of course I do.

Walked in asked for 2 fillet burger meals Should of been 9.99 (as advertised on the board) for the bundle however he charged us as if they were separate orders even though I paid in one payment so paid £11.95 Not one to make a scene so left it and it was a Saturday night so usual trying to rip people off when drunk Burger average Won't go again now

'!! FOOD POISONING !! Big mistake but wasn't my choice. We came here recently for Quick bite,.. 1 day later all 5 of us Customers have got food poisoning. We all are really sick. Dixys food is very unhygienic. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELFS, THIS IS A HONEST REVIEW. Spend a bit more and Go somewhere decent.

Have been there last week. very friendly staff. even helped me with car park! delicious food and amazing service. really enjoyed with family. Will plan to eat there every time we travel to Halifax!

New owners are good they put all the different salads in the burger and get on to making it straight away

We tried this place months ago and it was really nice. Tonight however was a different story. Chicken was okay,fries were undercooked. Apple pie was stuck to the paper and hollow,donut was very dry. The banana milkshake: you charge £1.49 for it but don't state online it isn't fresh but instead a bottle of Yazoo that you can get in Tesco for 50p!! Total rip off. We'll stick with Harrys next time

First time I went a few month ago i got a lovely burger went a few weeks ago same staff burger was like water well put me off

Terrible place. There’s no cleanliness in the people working or the place, including food. The person who works here is so rude and behaves in a very bad manner. He just took my change twice and kept it with him and when I asked he started at me and gave a bad look. It’s was just terrifying to go there again. We also got stomach upset after eating food here. Just don’t go to this place at all.

Quick delivery and items are good. Still they can concentrate bit more on taste and quality.

Some of the staff here have got a real attitude problem Food is very inconsistent, it seems they don't particularly care as they main market seems to be drunks who just want a bite of something to eat. Burgers used to be excellent but now it is very much hit and miss.

Ate here last night, violently sick this morning. Knew straight away when i bit into the chicken it was off. Never again. Avoid like the plague!

One place where you expect quality food and a fast turnaround. Each time I have been the staff haven’t been that friendly, the food always takes a long time and isn’t always that fresh ! Not sure how that works but needs to be sorted. Prices are decent for a burger and chips. Don’t expect anything fancy, it’s your local chicken joint!

Went after a night out. Much better service than frankies up the road. Burgers however where not fresh and hard. But the guy was very busy and they seemed understaffed. Did take a while to get our food but quite a few people piled in at once. They should have been better prepared but they tried their best i guess.

We've been here many times and had many excellent meals from them, has to be said when the meals are good they are very good for the money. Compared to the big chain chicken chain Dixys pieces are bigger and the fries with the sprinkle certainly beat the fries from the big chain chicken chain. .

Food was ok the place was dirty with food on the floor. Unfriendly customer service i was not impressed at all i will take my business elsewhere.

Normally fabulous but went for the first time since lockdown and all they had was burgers and a very rude staff member. Also after saying strips were not available offered them to us. Paid and then did not provide them. Gutted as this was always our go to place before getting a taxi. It won’t be no more. Such a shame after 8 years of really great services. You would have thought they would have made an effort after lockdown! Oh well, very, very, disappointing !

I asked for a vegetarian option n I got CHICKEN this is not okay if I asked for a vegetarian option I want that me and my friend both got chicken when we have been a veggie for a year THIS IS NOT OKAY OR ACCEPTABLE

We got the food so quick on a night out (essential) and the chicken was on another level probably some of the best I’ve eaten drunk. Highly recommend will not disappoint and it’s really cheap.
