Great staff but this last few tim the coffee has not been as tasty as previously

I can say from experience, having now spent hours finishing up my dissertation. This place is a real gem in the heart of Sherwood. With options of delicious vegan food and drinks, fantastic service and a relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone who needs good coffee, nice food, peace and quiet.

Nice little coffee shop on Hayden Road that serves vege food and delicious coffee. Dog friendly and has a relaxed clientel. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Divine Coffee House is my favourite little cafe in all of Nottingham! A little tucked away gem providing delicious brews, and food! Amazing for vegans and non vegans. Highly recommend a London Fog with oat milk and a jalapeño and cheese ‘sausage’ roll - no regrets I tell ya. Free books, dog friendly, local creatives work for sale, what’s not to love. Recommend a charity shop tour of Sherwood high street to go alongside your tasty treats.

Fabulous independent coffee shop which fully deserves the awards it has been nominated for and won. This is proper coffee, very tasty, not hiked up prices, made with a passion and served with a smile. The raspberry and white chocolate brownie is delicious. Its always nice when you go in that staff remember what you have - it shows they know their clients - well done Divine

Coffee snob from Australia 😉. Been back in Nottingham for 6 weeks and 24 hours before I leave I have hands-down the best coffee I’ve had in that 6 weeks. Long black, not that americano stuff. Really nice danish pastry to go with it.

I am a regular visitor to Divine, to the point that I ask for "coffee and breakfast" and Ashe knows what to get. But I am not the only one. Many Sherwood residents are regular visitors and he tends to know their orders as soon as they walk through the door. It's wonderful service. Coffee is lovely and smooth, aparently a special blend for the shop by 200 degrees. I am also a fan of their vanilla pastries. They are 100% delicious and wonderfully flakey (not for those with an aversion to crumbs!). Divine offers a great selection of vegetarian and vegan food, cold drinks and there's even art work to be purchased if you like. If you just want to sit and people watch, the benches at the front allow a lovely place to stare out of the window at passers by on Haydn road, and if you like to read, there is a whole shelf full of books you can choose from, or, the latest copy of Nottingham's famed "Leftlion" magazine. An excellent publicaiton I may add. Peak time appears to be 8:45-9:00 after all the parents have dropped their kids off at school (guilty!) so avoid this time if you aren't a fan of queues! Dog Friendly, Vegan friendly, LGBTQ+ friendly, no horrible people allowed.

I really enjoy going here and grabbing either a wrap or the jalapeño sos roll! They have some great cakes and a wide vegan range.

The Vegan 'steak' bake was surprisingly good.

Lovely coffee and beautiful cakes which we took away with us

I had the cutest time at this cafe - this is the type of establishment at which you will want to become a regular! The staff were SO welcoming, attentive and friendly. Love the family feel. The food is excellent, they’re generous with the sauces (I had the vegan jalapeño sausage roll, beautiful pastry). The food and drink are excellent quality and incredibly well priced! Something else I noticed is how healthy and well cared-for the plants are. I just want to sit in the window seat all day reading the various books from their mini library, doodling on napkins, sipping a turmeric latte, and soaking in the Sunday morning sun <3 <3 <3

Very friendly and helpful staff who provided good service. We had flat white coffee with oat milk plus two cakes. It was all served quickly. The coffee was very tasty and cakes were fine. I have given it four as it somehow lacked the wow factor. This would not stop me going back if I am in the area.

Had the most delicious beetroot and cacao latte! My first ever and defo not my last. Hip and cool atmosphere with a wide selection of vegan/vegetarian options. I’ll be trying more on the menu soon. Only gave 4* because the takeout cups didn’t have a sleeve (burning hands).

The name is very fitting, it certainly was devine coffee. Followed by a yummy hot chocolate. Friendly service, warm and inviting. Will definitely return. Thank you.

I have visited this coffee shop many times since it has been open. Now it has expanded and looks lovely. I recent visited and was disappointed. This is due to pets being allowed in coffee shops. A dog entered with his owner and the dog give his body a good shake close to my table which is poor hygiene, it was followed by the young man at the till going and petting the dog. Dog should not be allowed where food is served.

Cakes look and taste amazing. The whippy ice cream is sooo yummy too. Best vegan whippy ice cream, by far. A little bit more choice might be good but I guess then there might be more wastage and that's not so good. Definitely give it a try!!

Quick service. Nice selection of drinks. Friendly staff. No parking outside, You need to park at a nearby car park which is only two minutes walk away.

We love the vegan cakes here! They are super delicious, best in Sherwood. And I love their tea - get a super big pot and it's great tea. Nice atmosphere too. The only thing I would say is the sandwiches/paninis aren't the greatest; we had a vegan cheese and tomato and it was a bit lacking/boring. Would prefer some fresher stuff like a falafel salad or a doorstop sandwich with houmous and roast veg

After feeling puffed out after a health walk, I stumbled upon this gem. This is one funky, fab cafe and serves a mean Amaretto latte. Nice guy serving and nice demographic. An absolutely dumbo free zone that gets an easy 5 ✨from me. 😊

Everyone I've been to Divine with loves the place. It's an unpretentious coffee shop which delivers consistently good drinks. Let me sing the praises of the London Fog, which brings vanilla and Earl Grey together in wonderfully wrong ways. And yeah, latte etc too. I don't know everyone's name there or have need to but Ashe knows mine and he's responsible for the quality of what happens when you step over that threshold, a host who's all the more likeable for not trying to fake a personality for himself or Divine. If you want somewhere with a fancier more haute cuisine menu, other venues are available - but hey, this is a coffee shop. The food Ashe and crew do is great...the cheesy jalapeno sos roll is made of win, and don't even think of having the last maple pecan slice if I'm there.

A variety of teas and coffee with a disappointing range of vegan sausage rolls and panini with various fillings you can find just about anywhere. My americano was OK. The staff, however, are lovely and make up the 3☆.

Really really wanted to like this place but ended up leaving because we couldn’t get served. Queue at the counter, a sign says to sit down and a member of staff will come and take your order (they didn’t). Tried to order via the app, nearly all the food listed was out of stock, couldn’t even order coffee, it crashed. Went to the counter again, a man was serving a lady with a complicated purchase, a young woman stood to the side, and someone else behind in the kitchen. No one acknowledged me, smiled, or even said they’d be free in a minute. Sat down again, tried the app again, it crashed. Gave up and left - the place wasn’t even busy, I think there were three or 4 tables occupied out of about 14?

A real gem of a place. Great coffee making skills as well as a good selection of cakes, pastries and biscuits. Artwork all around the walls. Several paired tables outside, and inside lots of good space. Immaculate bathroom, toilet and baby changing area. Friendly service from well trained staff. Plentiful sockets to charge your devices while you work, meet friends or write your novel.

Been here quite a few times now, every time the coffee is spot on, service friendly and respectful. A great experience. P.s. love the 100% recyclable cups too!

Great to be back in Divine. Best coffee and cake in Sherwood and really friendly staff. Just off the high street so it’s not as busy as some of the other places but that makes it that little bit more special. Our highlight is the pecan slice which is number one in my all time cakey treats.

Newly refurbished cafe, great coffee and new veggie/ vegan menu. There are lots of cafes in Sherwood but if you don't eat meat this is your best bet. Lovely staff too.

I'm new to the area and I gave a few of the local cafes a shot, this place was lovely. I know service is a bit different with covid around but the coffee and food here was great, the barista was too.

This place has great Vegan food, good atmosphere and amazing coffee. I go here a lot and I have never had a bad experience.

There are a few places in Sherwood that do decent coffee, but I only ever go to Divine. The staff are friendly, which has bought me so much joy during this funny time. The atmosphere is cosy, whether I've popped in to have a chocolate with a friend, a quick lunch or a coffee to takeaway. There is always a smile, fantastic produce and delicious, strong, tasty coffee. Divine coffee house has something for everyone, allergen free and vegetarian/vegan options. The cakes are to die for, I have to stop myself buying them some times, with the frequency that I visit. Ashe has even convinced me to having Sproud milk in my morning coffee which I never thought would happen. Make sure you try a toasty and the pecan slice.

We regularly stop off at Divine for a coffee and cake, it's always cosy and usually pretty peaceful. We're a young family and are always made to feel welcome. The coffee is good, the cakes are excellent with good vegan options. There's coffee accessories and fresh coffee to buy to make at home. Staff are friendly and the whole place feels like it reflects the best of the local Sherwood community. We've visited recently since they've put measures in placen for social distancing etc. All feels safe and appropriate.

I used to be a regular at Divine when it was based in the centre of Nottingham, but haven't been able to visit much since it moved to Sherwood. We were on our way back from a walk in north Nottingham this particular Sunday and Divine was only slightly off our route home, so we popped in for hot chocolates and cakes. The hot chocolate was just as good as I remembered (I went for dark chocolate with Amaretto syrup) and the cakes were great too. Hopefully we'll make it back again soon!

I visited here at the start of the year. I had loved visiting while I was pregnant. The coffee was good, the service was never great. I took my new born (pre-covid) and he started crying, I asked for something to warm his bottle. The guy that runs divine coffee would only give me a small cup with hot water in (only the base of the bottle sat in the cup) he watched and could see I was struggling with my new born and he was refusing cold milk. I asked if there was a possibility of using one of his large jugs with warm water in to warm the bottle as the small cup was too small. He said no. I had to leave my coffee and return home. I wouldn't visit again, which is a huge shame as I live across the road and used to visit with friends often. Poor service.

Just off the beaten track in sherwood is a fabulous coffee shop... Divine by name and with the food on offer, especially the cakes Divine by nature... Well worth a visit... Awesome coffee, very smooth blend and exceptionally well made 😊 books on shelves to check out papers to read... Some amazing art on the walls... Ashe your barista is very friendly... Thoroughly recommend a visit to this shop and I know I will be back again soon.

I popped in here for a cappuccino and couldn’t resist a slice of cake. It was a chocolate rocky road type of cake and it was mouth-wateringly delicious. The cappuccino was good, too - nice and hot, with a good taste and beautifully presented. The service is very good, here and I felt very comfortable, just relaxing on my own. Nice decor and atmosphere. Just lovely!

I heard they did fine coffee and I am a coffee snob. I wasnt put off by the welcoming grunt and ordered a very dry cappuccino. What I got was a flat white with 1mm of sickly foam and despite clearly stating I didn't want it. I got a chocolate power design. Pretty in its was but, not what I ordered or something I was willing to drink. This will be my only visit

Delicioso café (¡usé frijoles caseros de 200 grados!), Acogedor, hogareño, acogedor, de ambiente familiar y también ideal para hacer un lugar frío en algunas horas de trabajo como lo estaba haciendo (enchufes también disponibles). ¡Este se convertirá en mi nuevo puesto semanal cuando trabaje desde mi casa un viernes! Estacionamiento justo afuera, excelentes precios, muy recomendable!

What a gem! Have been gradually trying out the top coffee houses in Nottingham and this is one my faves so far! Delicious coffee (using 200 degrees house blend beans!), cosy, homely, welcoming, family vibe and also great for a chilled spot to do a few hours work as I was doing (plug sockets also available). This will become my new weekly spot when working from home on a Friday! Parking right outside, great prices, highly recommend!

Looking for a nice place for coffee with friends before shopping for wedding outfit, found this little, very pleasant coffee stop on a busy, quite industrial road. Friendly service, nice atmosphere and unusual and interesting choices on the menu. Great stop for this side of Nottingham.

Arguably the best (and really good priced) coffee in Nottingham! Great vegan/veggie treats, cosy and friendly environment with an excellent playlist (Patrick Wolf to Gotan Project to David Bowie!). I really enjoy coming to Divine Coffee House since living in Sherwood over the past couple of years and especially now with my baby daughter who is always happy to see the lovely Ashe! Highly recommend! 👍
