Probably the most aesthetic cafe in Nottingham, offering great bang for your buck.

Very much a Wes Anderson location and good Coffee

Cheap decor, not to my taste. Looks like something out of Squid Games. Coffee was average. Nothing special to see here, move on.

Really quirky and clean, delicious cakes and other savory bits. Coffee was very good. I haven’t marked down the score as more the waitress but the girl working was very rude, overcharged us as she thought we wanted a special tea instead of a lemonade. When we asked her she was very rude, and said she would check and then did everything to avoid us after giving us dirty looks and abruptness for asking! The other two guys were very polite and friendly.

I ordered a coffee and croissant, and unfortunately, the croissant was not fresh at all. It felt like it was several days old, crumbling into dry pieces and was simply inedible. I hope to see an improvement in the freshness of your baked goods in the future.

I visited Dispatch recently and my experience was great. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly and making the visit feel welcoming from the start. The coffee was perfect and I paired it with an almond croissant - which btw was just right, sometimes I find them too sweet in some places but they got it right. I noticed some reviews mentioning laptop work. While the interior is beautiful and vibrant I think it’s understandable why the space might not be suitable for laptops during busy times, especially on weekends. It’s a cozy spot designed for enjoying coffee, pastries, and good conversation. I feel it’s only fair to appreciate Dispatch for what it offers - a fantastic atmosphere and quality treats! :)

Staff were super friendly and very accommodating for our large group. Highly recommend a visit and the Spanish Latte is delicious!

Had a little trip to Dispatch last Sunday to host our book club. And from start to finish, our time there was great. The staff were all so friendly and attentive. The cafe was clean, cosy and aesthetically pleasing. The food was great and the coffee was lovely! I look forward to future trips to dispatch!

We got told to put our laptops away but they let other people have it, feels targeted because I’m the only foreigner Wouldn’t recommend — Re to the owner: They only told me and my partner to put laptops away, and later on to another black guy who came in after us. This lady in the table next to us was allowed to work there. The staff came several times and only targeted me and the other black guy The white lady in the picture was working on her laptop for over 30 mins without anytime disturbing her. I left so I don’t know if she was told off at some point but your staff definitely targeted us foreigners and let this other lady to do as she pleased literally 3 ft away from us Very rude attitude, and on top of that, you’re trying to gaslight us as if that hadn’t happened Disgusting

Ignore the entitled laptop moaners...I've worked from here happily while also following and respecting the rules. I absolutely love coming here with friends and family too. I'll never forget how kind they were to my son a few months back when he'd had a bad day. Amazing coffee and cakes, great staff and a wonderful place to work from if you follow the rules and don't act like a tw...it. x

Visited because it was 2nd for ‘top cafes to remote work in Notts’. Checked their webpage and no restrictions listed. Bought coffee and cakes then told to put my laptop away - when there were other customers on their laptops?! Rude service, won’t be going again.

I absolutely love it here! I always go with my friends or partner for a coffee date, the staff are absolutely lovely, patient and very welcoming. Really nice atmosphere and great place to catch up on some work too. Very warm and cosy!

Fantastic street food Indian tapas. There were 6 of us and we ordered 15 different dishes. Every dish was amazing.

It’s a nice place, and the interior colors are vibrant and energizing. The service was good, but the food was just okay.

Went on a Saturday to get some work done, got the cheese tostie and a spanish latte, little bit overpriced in my opinion but to each their own, tostie was delicious and so was the coffee, however the workers told me laptops aren’t allowed on weekends which i really don’t understand at all. because of that i wont be coming. back.

Excellent service and the raspberry lemon cake was delicious. The place was well lit and looked great. They also breakfast sandwiches and the coffee was average. I tried the spanish latte which was a bit too sweet than i expected or maybe that’s how it was supposed to taste, it was my first time trying so i might be wrong and the latte was perfect. The pastries were very good. They had space upstairs and even outside. It’s right in the city and conveniently close to the many shops.

A fun and friendly staff, great coffee and an interior akin to a Wes Anderson movie.

The exceptionally lovely staff working here make this place a haven. And the cakes in particular are great too. We needed a pointer towards the railway station and the young man in charge took the trouble to come outside with us and make sure we didn’t get lost. Wished us a good journey too. Outstanding manners and interpersonal skills. The staff working here restore your faith in young people (written by 2 elderly women).

Amazing and very generously filled cheese toastie, lovely friendly staff and the cakes looked delicious too. They clearly have a lot of very happy regulars.

Nice atmosphere with interesting photos on the wall. The coffee is smooth, with a little bit of sour tasting at the end. There are more sweets than savories such as chocolate cake, brownies and crossont. The cookie has a crunchy surface with a cakey texture.

Lovely place for a catchup with coffee and a sweet treat! I had a flat white with their vegan biscoff brownie - brownie was lovely and gooey, not terribly sweet but definitely needed that coffee! My friend had a mocha and their cookie - generously littered with chocolate chips and more on the chewy side than crunchy! They're very busy on the weekends - with outdoor seating, and so they only let you work with a laptop on weekends. Their bathroom was incredibly spacious and a fun smattering of plants in the shower (not in use however).

Often come here for coffee, the coffee and everyone working here is so nice. Also thank you for finding my phone!!

Visited for the first time on a Saturday, ordered and sat upstairs. Coffee was good, decor around the place is great. Only downside was the panini’s took 25 minutes to arrive, but I’d probably judge service after visiting again and updating the review.

Had a very nice cappuccino with coconut milk, was tempted by the cakes but they looked a little bit stale and they do not accept cash so I decided not to. Nice atmosphere, nicely decorated, good choice in music playing although we were sat near a speaker which made it hard to hear each other over it sometimes.

On a rainy morning while my car is in the garage this was a paradise of a place to find! I’ve got 2 of my dogs with me, so trying to find a dog friendly café was needed so I could work for a couple of hours. The chap serving was so friendly and welcomed us in, making a delicious caffeine free latte. Sitting upstairs, perfect chill music, lovely clean tables and chairs, bliss! So glad I came across this place - it’s a dream!

I always come here - the guys who work here are always lovely and welcoming, the food here is tasty, and the coffee here is always so tasty. The one thing about this place is that it's so chill and it's open fairly late so it's nice to pop after work and relax without feeling rushed. The decor is really quite Wes Anderson-esque. Would 100% recommend using the toilet here because it is just so nice!

The staff here are so lovely! I always enjoy the service I'm given and am greeted with a friendly smile and chat. The aesthetic of this coffee shop is very niche and a bright and welcoming place to sit in. I also love that they are open later, because sometimes it's nice to have a place to go for a coffee after work with mates rather than to a pub.

We’ve been meaning to visit for a while and managed to pop in on Saturday. The coffee shop is lovely and the coffee was great. Special mention for the plants in the shower upstairs 👏🏻👏🏻

Dispatch Coffee saved my marriage!

It was disappointing that 4 orders made after ours came first, although the barista was more preoccupied in discussing D2D the night before and a subsequent hangover with another customer. From this we can ascertain that our coffee to go was either de-prioritised for a more familiar customer or that the server couldn’t effectively concentrate on the sequence of orders made. As paying customers, this we found to be rude and unprofessional. Now whether this is true or we have misinterpreted the situation, we were not given an explanation while clearly stood waiting within in eye sight in the cramped downstairs area. This is not a level of service that is even fundamentally average. For this reason we rated the experience 2. If not for the coffee being fine, this would’ve been a 1. In future we would not expect our order to be delayed for preferred customers with no explanation. This kind of attitude only feeds into the idea of this being another pretentious coffee shop that favours Carhartt wearing students and young liberal-elite professionals.

Cute little cafe that I came across a few weeks ago and I don't know how I missed this all this time. Their coffee is nice and the pastries are delicious. The staff are attentive. They have upstairs seating as well as outdoor seating and a couple of tables on the ground floor. The inside is painted with vibrant colours which offers a nice vibe!

My partner and I love this place, it's our little local coffee place. Food and coffee are great, highly recommend the Dispatch for fans of a Reuben. Music selection and decor are wonderful for fans of the Wes Anderson asthetic. Just wish we had a 24hr coffee culture in the UK.

Such a local gem! Come here for friendly service and a great atmosphere to unwind away from from the Hockley hustle and bustle. Coffee is great as are the selection of pastries. I’d love to see this place open for breakfast, just so I’d have even more if an excuse to pop in.

One of my absolute favourite places in Nottingham! I come here at least once a week to either get some work done or just to enjoy the lovely atmosphere, all the staff I’ve met so far have been absolutely brilliant and just so welcoming & kind. I bring my little dog Polli with me most of the time and she honestly gets excited as soon as she realises where we’re going - she always gets showered with love and even brought a little water bowl here, so if you’re looking for a beautiful, dog-friendly place with awesome staff and amazing hot chocolate: Dispatch is the place for you!

Absolutely love this little coffee shop! Staff are super friendly and chatty, coffee is lovely (best latte art I've seen!) and the cakes are to die for! Don't be put off by the size downstairs, there are more tables upstairs and an outdoor seating area. I shouldn't get excited about a cafe toilet but this one is unique! It's like going to your mate's house - fab decoration and a shower (yes, a shower) full of big green plants! Amazing 😁 This is now my 'go to' coffee stop when I visit Nottingham.

As soon as Dispatch opened it became my favourite cafe in the city! Their hot chocolates are the creamiest around, they always have a fantastic array of treats and the cheese toasties are always oozing! It's such a cute little spot for some weekday working or for catching up with friends on the weekend, and I love that it's open a little later than regular cafes so the food vibes don't get cut short 🩷

I'm a regular at this lovely lil spot in hockley! I always feel so welcome here, the people are so friendly and the coffee is delish! Also the best sweet treats in Nottingham imo! The interior is also 10/10, immaculate vibes, very much feel like I'm in a Wes Anderson film. A good lil working spot on weekdays. Also a perfect place to hang out on ya own or with pals! :^)

Having been to Dispatch a few times, the service is always fantastic and the cakes are beyond delicious! Also dog friendly, which is a massive bonus for me.

Was having a wonder around Nottingham and saw this place, looks really friendly and inviting so popped in for a takeaway drink. Ordered a mocha and let me tell you, it was the best mocha I've had! Would deffo recommend, staff were so lovely.

Quickly becoming my favourite coffee shop in Nottingham. Cheerful, helpful service, delicious pastries and easily the best mocha in Notts! They also have a rewards card for regulars and are happy for laptops to be brought in from Monday through to Friday.

There were little hairs in the latte, the brownie and the floor was dirty. Also, they are cashless which was disappointing. Only giving the 2 stars because they offer vegan and gluten free alternatives.

Really disappointed! I visited on Saturday morning to meet a friend. We were the first customers in and despite staff members standing behind the counter, nobody offered us a greeting. I then went to order and the guy serving was very short with me and came across rude - it put me off straight away, I didn’t even get a “please” when paying. I felt like I had somehow annoyed him by spending money at his establishment. Was even more shocked to refer to an article which has persuaded me to go in the first place and see that he was the owner! Won’t be returning

Don’t eat there if you don’t like mustard. The toastiest can clear your sinuses. Coffee is good though.

We came in on Christmas Eve for a coffee just before they were closing but the really kind staff let us stay after they had closed to finish our coffee and offered us some of their cakes and brownies for free as they were closing for the Christmas break. It was so tasty and the atmosphere was lovely and the coffee was nice! Especially their Spanish Latte which we had never tried before anywhere else. We are definitely coming back!

My wife, daughter & I visited here for drinks & food. From entering it was beautifully decorated, from the ground floor to the 2nd floor. On the ground floor you will find seats, & the counter with a variety of bakery treats, ranging from croissants, pecan slices & cinnamon swirls etc. On the first floor there is more seating & then on the 2nd floor you will find the toilet. I would like to add this is the only toilet, which unfortunately had no baby change facilities, hence why Ive marked it 4 stars. Also people who have difficulties getting up 2 flights of stairs, may find it a problem needing the toilet. Now onto the food & drink; we chose to go for a hot chocolate, & a Spanish latte, the first time trying one of these, I was told, its the same as a normal latte, however with condensed milk, making it sweet. For food, we chose the cinnamon swirl (one of the best Ive tasted) & a pecan slice, which had a Christmas mince pie taste to it. Generally it was a lovely place, the gentleman serving, made both the drinks, & took them to the tables.

Went to dispatch around 5pm 27/12 for the first time and ordered 2 cappuccinos to go. On driving home the coffee tasted sour almost to the point of vomit. Please check your milk guys, giving more then 1 star only based on the friendliness of the 2 guys serving. Edit for response from owner: I don’t use social media and finding an email address isn’t exactly easy to find. I appreciate bad reviews aren’t good for a new business but that doesn’t change my right to leave one based on my honest experience either. Being honest with you I’ve found your reply quite good at the start but finished feeling a little stand offish and almost trying to put the onus on me (it isn’t) with my contact methods and my review impact. You could of simply said ‘please pop in when your next passing for a chat and thats see if we can remedy this bad exp into a positive.’ However you’ve managed to make this slightly awk situation slightly more awkward so on that basis i decline and wish you all the best with the business i’m sure you’ll do fine none the less!

Visited a few times, including with my 13 yr old who is very interested in the style of the place. Nice of the owners to take time out of their day to explain the concept to him. The staff really help make it a great atmosphere. Coffee here is always top notch. This is my favourite spot in Nottingham. We’ll find any excuse to pop in.

A great spot to do some work and grab a coffee and cake. Incredibly friendly and chatty staff. Also open a lot later than other cafés so perfect for a drink in the evening especially if you don’t drink alcohol (but they do serve some alcohol if you do!)!

My fave cafe in Nottingham! All the staff are super friendly and warm, the vegan options are amazing, the coffee is great, the crockery is adorable and the aesthetics of the building is super calming. A great place to study, have a catch up with friends, sit and read a book or just have time by yourself. I've taken most of my friends here already because it's simply amazing. I'll be back very soon!
