A HUGE thank you to Marco and the entire team at Dion. You all did a fantastic job hosting our Company's Team Build Event. Communication during planning and the day were spot on! The food and service were outstanding, the staff were so accommodating and so personable! We would happily recommend your restaurant to friends and family and look forward to using your services for future events.

Popped in for lunch and ordered the Thai green curry and mini pavlova. The curry was lovely and creamy, I wished there had been more! Friendly service, too.

We had a fantastic evening and the drinks menu was fantastic. Food was superb and the atmoshpere was great. The bar has an amazing location next to St Pauls

Excellent service and attention from the staff. We were a large party and the owner took extra care to make sure we had everything we need. Great atmosphere. Will return when the sun comes out and we can enjoy the outdoor terrace!

Been out in London for 20+ years. Never have I been to a bar with the service the bar staff provided tonight. Just a casual walk in drink, walked to booth, offered water and top up all eve. Table service! Incredible place - well done all! Will be back!

Two friends and I had lunch here. We booked an outdoor table with a view of the Cathedral. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful - very refreshing. We all thought the food was good and the wine was reasonably priced (for a London restaurant). We had a great time and would recommend for good food, wine, service and location. After a long day of walking, this was exactly what we needed! The service was friendly, the food was delicious and the drinks were fun. I had the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. My mom had a hamburger and loved it. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Erika was the best server ever! She described the food very well, was very attentive and chatted with us a bit too. I told her we were celebrating my son’s 20’th birthday and asked her to surprise us with the desert and she made it so memorable. The food was excellent and the service was great!

Dropped in last Tuesday with a couple of colleagues after work and the lovely Jo couldn't do enough for us. Fab service. Here's a top tip, try the calamari. To die for. Best I've tasted ever. Chunky chips perfect too.

We pre-ordered the Christmas menu. The parsnips were boiled, which was very odd, every Brit knows parsnips are roasted! The Turkey wasn’t good quality, it tasted like Bernard Matthews Turkey roll. We paid £40 deposit which was left on our bill, even though they advised they had taken it off. We were asked if we wanted deserts a bit later, to which we agreed. A minute later they hastily brought the deserts out, with an excuse the kitchen had to close- at 9pm! We won’t be visiting again, it was a very disappointing evening.

I had my 40th birthday dinner party at Dion Bar and Restaurant on 23rd July 2022 and it was absolutely amazing! From the welcoming drinks, 3 course meal and dance in the evening, the staff were extremely professional and organised. The customer service was impeccable and the manager and staff were so attentive and catered to the specific needs of my guests. Everything ran smoothly! I’ve received so many compliments and my guests were all impressed with the venue, food and helpful staff. The day was just as I’d imagined and enjoyable for me and all my guests. Dion Bar and Restaurant is special and it’s a great venue for a party, dinner or just drinks. Jo, Marco, Sam and the Team – You truly exceeded all my expectations! Thank you so much for being so accommodating and helping me plan and execute the perfect dinner party. I’ll definitely be back!

Went with a few friends for drinks and some food. Had Sam serving us and he was very friendly and welcoming even the bar was really packed on a Thursday early evening. I ordered penicillin cocktail which was excellent and kept drinking it, must have had at least 4 of them. Ordered some food which was nicely presented and great taste. Overall service and food was excellent and for sure will be back!

Die Preise bewegen sich im oberen Bereich. die Qualität der Drinks aber ebenso.

Went here for Bruch after attempting to eat at the bar next door. Had fantastic Bloody Mary and some delicious food!

We had lunch booked for a team away day and had chose are menu selection prior to arrival. To be fair the food was quite good, but beware of the drinks prices, they also charge 12.5% service charge on top for each round of drinks you buy. There is a small print stating this is discriminatory on the drinks menu….. I only realised this when I bought some drinks with cash at the bar and handed over my money. When I questioned the barman about the price, he then explained it was discretionary charge and gave me some money back, however not the cash I gave him ,he slipped in an out of date Scottish £5 note! So pleased beware…

In London for a service at St Paul’s and this was an ideal place for lunch. Food was brilliant, and the service was great. Relaxing atmosphere. Salmon fish cakes were so tasty and my friend loved the sea bass. Couldn’t resist dessert opting for the sorbet and the mini pavlova, with both enjoyed them. Excellent value for money.

Good food, nothing special, most items large portions. There were Gluten Free options although the waitress was acting a little strange around this point and I don't believe she passed on the requirement to the chef (as the dish was stated gluten free on menu). Otherwise service was very blunt.

We had a business lunch here and it was a reasonable experience but nothing special, especially given the price (which was high even for London). Service was pretty poor - we weren't told upfront that menus were online so waited a while until asking. And the waitress didn't help by saying our choices weren't great and recommending different [more expensive] options. Maybe we turned up on a bad day, but we won't be coming back given all the choice in the area.

We visited Dion today for a last minute lunch stop and the food we revived was absolutely amazing! We ordered the chicken caesar salad and the vegetarian club sandwich and both were so fresh and tasty. The best part of the lunch was the pavlova...

Didn't respond to the online request for a booking. Turned up anyway but was told they didn't need to respond and was effectively told to get lost. I'm sure they don't right now but hope this contempt for their customers catches up with them.

Encantador. Nunca conseguiría un asiento para sentarse normalmente, pero dada la pandemia fue muy silencioso. Este lugar suele estar muy concurrido. Tenía un ambiente agradable y luminoso con unas siete mesas ocupadas. También hay algunas mesas afuera. Muy limpio. Distanciamiento social bien gestionado. Bien hecho al personal. I visited the place on Friday evening. The environment is nice and there is a big selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The place super crowded, but it is expected based on the location. The bar is just behind St' Pauls church.

Fui aquí a tomar unas bebidas de trabajo. Teníamos una hermosa botella de Louis Jadot Burgundy, que compro en casa de Majestic (no estaba pagando, así que no sé cuál es el margen de beneficio). La comida era buena (queso, pan y patatas fritas) y el servicio era eficiente.

Servicio pobre, detrás del bar había 4 miembros del personal y aún tenemos que esperar bastante tiempo antes de que nos vieran. Sólo una sonrisa de reconocimiento hará mucha diferencia. Es realmente un pub para salir después del trabajo con tus compañeros de trabajo. Acústica muy mala. Y los crips de Walker, en lugar de los elegantes, serían mucho mejores. He estado aquí unas cuantas veces cuando está muy ocupado y tranquilo en días diferentes. El servicio es bueno y rápido. No demasiado amigable pero eficiente, agradable y rápido. Limpia, bonita decoración y espaciosas. La música no es demasiado alta, así que es un buen lugar para reunirse con amigos o colegas Solo he tomado copas pero nunca he comido. Gran seleccion Un precio razonable para el centro de Londres. Recomendaría reservar una mesa en noches agitadas. En verano y jueves, viernes por la noche, está muy ocupado. Más recientemente se fue en una tranquila noche de lunes temprano en la noche. Muy silencioso. Absolutamente encantador y frío para alcanzar a un ex colega. Buena ubicación en calle Pauls. Went for our company team meal. Nice location downstairs, not great for wheelchair users. Food was presented well, but the vegetables were cold.Don't think we'll rush back.

Walking past on a busy day, staff managed to find us a table, advised that there was a 40 minute wait on food, so ordered a drink. Also ordered food was with us within 20 mins. Beautiful food, very fresh. Staff were excellent and friendly, would definitely recommend.

Right place if you are looking for someplace small and quiet. Decent selection of beverages and music is not too loud.

I had my 40th birthday party last Saturday at Dion. I've always liked this bar for drinks but they went above and beyond to make my party a success. Marco and his team were wonderful. So accommodating - they even got in drinks they don't normally stock for us.

Had lunch here on a Thursday lunchtime. We got a table no problem and the service was quick and efficient. The food was average but ambiance nice. Will return

We originally booked a table for drinks at 8pm - But was delayed by an hour.. We rang the bar to inform them and they were very understanding! - On a Friday night!

OK so no one expected England to get to the WC semi-final. So when it came to a belated scramble to find somewhere to watch the match, almost everywhere was booked out. So it was a pleasant surprise to find some space here, and a table available.

Happy to give 5 stars as the food, drinks and service was fine. The location is good but I can't say anything about the pub is special, which is fine, and therefore good for most.

Tuve que organizar una oficina hacer para 50 personas en una noche entre semana en julio. Todos los lugares a los que tenía ridículo pasar mínimo pedimos o no era muy servicial. Marco en Dion era increíblemente útil y me ayudó a organizar una velada muy exitosa. Teníamos la habitación de la planta baja para nosotros. Las bandejas de comida era deliciosa y tiene una muy buena relación calidad-bebidas a la carta que todos apreciamos.

Had a nice business lunch here today. We got right in and got drinks and our lunch quickly. I had the mozzarella, tomato, avocado salad which was perfect. Only suggestion would be for server to follow up with refills on drinks. We sat with empty glasses until the check arrived.

At Dion’s I ate the best Ceasar Salad ever! Lots of chicken and ansjovis. The waitress does check whether you like ansjovis because not everybody is a fan. But for me the more the better!

Dion is perfectly located close to St. Pauls. Modern interior (for a pub) yet a tad loud at evenings. Quick service and classic pub-menu with enough things to chose from. Had the Ceasar’s salad and the fish and chips. Large servings at reasonable price.

Fuimos para las bebidas. El bar estaba muy lleno. Afortunadamente, habíamos reservado una mesa. Sugerimos hacer esto a menos que te de pie. El personal era muy agradable, atento y educado. Ambiente encantador y limpio. Nos no bebedores así que pedimos refrescos. Tienen una buena variedad de refrescos, zumos y cócteles sin alcohol. Caro, pero teniendo en cuenta la zona que cabe esperar. Sirven comidas y aperitivos. La mayoría de la gente estaba bebiendo. No comimos allí. Después principalmente atrae a un trabajo. Great spot for drinks - nice interior but pricey which isn't surprising given it's in the heart of London. Service was efficient and drinks were nice. I'd happily go back, also very great distance to the tube which is handy.

Visitamos para el almuerzo y experimentado una larga espera, la sopa caliente (no caliente) y un cálido (no caliente) pollo tarta de verduras (verduras siendo x 2 piezas de zanahoria). En general una experiencia bastante pobre. Este se basa solamente en la primera visita, sin embargo, hay muchas otras opciones en el área local que evitar otra decepción y no volveremos.

What a let down. The service to start was really slow, this was at 2pm, so not very busy. They were more interested in getting the food order in before anything, so we sat there for thirty minutes without a drink. The menu is not very exciting, traditional Xmas stuff. The main turkey main course, god forbid, did my granny cook it? 6 of us had the same, all so inconsistent in plating and amount of vegetables. So it was all rushed and not much care taken. The vegetables were not cooked fully the sprouts were rock hard. Overall, yuck, the chef should not let food out like that, under cooked veg and nothing seasoned.

I came here for dinner on a thursday night and i must say the food is amazing!! There isn’t a massive menu and not overly fancy food but what they do have is delicious. The place has a great atmosphere, gets very busy in the evenings so make sure you book; service also really good. Will 100% return

Found this place after a busy day in court. What a little gem. Reasonably priced with great food and if you just want a sandwich it's just over a fiver. Friendly and attentive staff with a great atmosphere. Well worth a visit!

Mi asistente y yo nos detuvimos aquí en un viaje de negocios antes de nuestra excursión a la calle. Paul's. Nos sentamos rápido pero estoy de acuerdo con algunos de los comentarios que el personal no era muy genial y algo arrogante. El ambiente es sofisticado y obviamente dirigido a la clientela hora este, pero eso estaba bien. Pedimos un modesto almuerzo, me dieron la pita y sandwich vegetal mediterránea una coca-cola. La camarera parecía muy decepcionado que no estábamos derrochando, particularmente no pedir vino, que ella empujado. La comida estaba bien, no espectacular. Un poco caro, pero estás pagando por la zona. Justo antes de que nos fuéramos, yo perdí un pendiente y la anfitriona, que era muy dulce, a diferencia de la camarera, me ayudó a encontrar. Volvería si en el vecindario.

Not a bad restaurant. Food is typical pub food and all good. The wine list is good and the restaurant has a good buzz to it. It can get pretty busy.A good place to eat in the St. Paul's area and right next door to the cathedral and underground which is convenient. You will also occasionally see the St. Paul's cathedral staff in there enjoying a glass of wine!

A decent little place in a bustling area - a good one to know, especially in the Summer months as the outside area is charming. Wine is pricey but not that surprising in a wine bar, and that generally means it's actually nice.Weirdly I always tend to get a seat here. So wine and a seat? Basically my requirements in a bar.

I went to Dion as part of team dinner with work colleagues and it was lovely. We had all pre ordered beforehand and everything was perfect. The food was very prompt in coming out and was delicious. The location is great also as it is close to St. Pauls Cathedral. I would definitely recommend it.

The hummus was awful, as was the arrogant staff. Gnocchi and other food menu items were quite nice. However, the rude staff tainted the experience.

My son was baptised at St Pauls Cathedral on the 25th February 2017. We chose Dion as the venue for the reception and I am thrilled that we did.The whole event right from the planning stage was made so easy by Marco and to say that himself and his team delivered on the day would be an understatement.The staff were welcoming and so attentive, all of our guests commented on how wonderful they were.The food was exemplary and the choice and freshness was clear to see on the day. Marco and his team catered so wonderfully for all of our guests with dietary requirements.I cannot recommend this venue enough and I will without hesitation be using it again for any future events,Thank you Thank you for making our day so wonderful and giving us so many amazing memories. I just wish there were more than 5 stars so I could truly tell you how happy we are.

Most places in London are all the same. Dion doesn't have the best drinks, the best food and it's not the cheapest, but the staff are the best in the City. Very attentive and punctual.

The best place in St Pauls for service and friendliness and Justina and Victoria are great! Always welcome here and the vibe is lit.

Waited for a hour for a club sandwich and never came. Staff which serve and behind the bar are extremely arrogant and don't care at all. Mystery why people like this place. Don't go here !

It's pub/restaurant for locals who work in the area. As the evening wore on, the noise level increased to the point where I couldn't hear my friends at all. The drinks and the appetizers were good.I did walk by it during the week and it seems like a nice lunch place.

This is a lovely wine bar right next to St Paul's Cathedral. From outside it looks a bit dark, even as if it's not open, but once inside it's open and bright. Views of the side of the Cathedral. Excellent menu from shared platters to full meals. Children allowed. Not too expensive for London. Varied drinks from tea and coffee to good wine list, various spirits etc. Lovely staff.

Sometimes during the week you need to do something fun after a long day. I have been here a few times on a Wednesday evening and though I am tired in the morning I have a smile. They have a great live band singing soul from around 8ish. It used to be every Wednesday but is now the last Wednesday of every month. The atmosphere is great, people dancing and socialising straight after work.

Great place, always with a warm atmosphere and such friendly staff. There are several places to choose from in the City and I always recommend meeting friends here because I have never been let down. The atmosphere is fun and inviting and not overly intrusive. The location is perfect with St Paul's literally in the background.A bit of a 'no brainer', as once you try this place you can understand why they have so much repeat business and familiar faces.

Just behind St Pauls, this wine bar offers great seating both inside and outside. The huge dome towers above you while you stand outside sipping a delectable wine. Our customer enjoyed the selection of wines and the nibbles to go along with them were great as well.

Had a late afternoon meeting at this restaurant. We ordered the Antipasto Platter and some drinks. The Antipasto looked and tasted like packet food not to mention the poor portion size. The young waitress was discourteous and borderline rude and made the experience unpleasant. We were very disappointed to say the least, in particular when they apply a 12.5% service charge for such a poor service.

I used to work around the corner from Dion and it became our local/canteen. But four years have passed and I now work outside the UK most of the time. But I always make a point of going back to Dion when in London and always receive a friendly welcome like I have never been away.

Went here on the 18 July but managed to pre-book a table outside. The, pear, rocket, parma ham and blue cheese salad was exceptional and beautifully presented. Service was very good so easily doable in an hour. Would definitely recommend this place.

Whenever I travel to our London office, I invariably go for lunch at Dion at St. Pauls. It is close to our office and the staff are always really friendly. Food is great (big fan of the fish and chips!) and the general atmosphere is very pleasant as you look onto the grounds of the cathedral. Highly recommended.

Whilst I can't fault the range of drinks or the food (which appears to be prepared to order so everything comes up good and fresh) the one thing that lets this place down every time is the slow service.Please don't misunderstand me, the waiting staff are all very nice and friendly and willing to do your bidding, it is just the time it all takes! By way of an example, my colleagues and I have had to abandon ideas if a second course at lunchtime purely due to time constraints.This venue being in the heart of the city, around the corner from the stock exchange and on the doorstep of St Paul's Cathedral it attracts a lot of people. This shouldn't be a problem given that it has additional space outside where you can eat (limited) and lots of standing room, it comes down to if you have the time. Would this deter me from going back - no, but I do have to weigh up how much time I've got available.

I have visited this bar on a number of occasions now for both work and leisure and each time I have been the food, staff, ambience and value for money has been brilliant. With a great setting next to St Pauls Cathedral this bar is easy to find and hard to leave, I have had many business meetings here that have gone on to be great evenings and have visited with other friends when not working as well. Thoroughly recommend it.

A high-end bar that I keep going back to. The service is wonderful and friendly, food is great and the atmosphere always spot on. Right next to St Pauls (really right next to!) makes this a special venue.

Great bar for after work drinks set right next to St. Paul's. A good fun bar to visit particularly on a weds with live music! Staff always helpful and attentive!!
