A small cafe with very basic furniture and decor. Cheap basic, fill-belly menu. Some would call this a transport cafe, but bearing in mind the quality of such places elsewhere, particularly in France, this place fails to get anywhere near that standard. Our mugs of tea were produced by the man behind the small counter. He spun on his seat, threw a tea bag in each mug, filled them with hot water from machine, added milk, got up, took 2 steps and plonked them on our table!!

Stumbled across this great little cafe, which has apparently been here since the 1940s. Friendly service, nice food, large portions and reasonable prices. I had the double breakfast (pictured) They make most of the own puds too 👍

The Dinky Doo is a well established and probably the longest running cafe in Littlehampton. They serve a great breakfast here. The quality of the food is better than most over cafes in Littlehampton and the cheapest. The husband and wife team are really nice. You can have a nice talk, or just enjoy your breakfast. One more thing, really nice coffee too. So get down and try it. Not many of the old school cafes left anymore.

We had 2 ‘normal breakfasts’ (sausage, bacon, fried egg, beans and hose to have fresh toms and toast) and 1 ‘double breakfast’ with tea. All were delicious well cooked and hot. We couldn’t resist and also came away with a huge piece of home made bread pudding and an individual victoria sponge (more than enough for 2). It was all great value. Will be going back on next visit to Littlehampton.

Good to be back in the diner under new management. Opening promptly at 0600 I was still 2nd in the queue of 6. Parking can be difficult, even at this early time. Tea was scolding hot and coffee individually brewed. All orders taken were cooked fresh in a short time and specific needs catered for. 'Please don't break the eggs. Nice and friendly staff, excellent food in clean surroundings. What is not to like? Definitely returning customers.

Under new management and with a fresh coat of paint, furnishings, toilet facilities and menu board. An excellent start to a, hopefully long relationship. On street parking is minimal but the effort is well worth it. A warm welcome at the water urn under the board of fare. Orders taken and sits filled in the lower saloon. All breakfasts are cooked to order and of excellent quality. Ample for a days fishing. Spotlessly clean and with all the sundries, nothing was too much trouble. Pay on exit and promise to come back. I certainly will. Keep up the good start and thankyou.

Visited Dinky doo diner on Sunday 20th December for a breakfast with family, the whole cafe has been done up very nicely by the new owners, Paul & Mandy after they took over. Their menu is extremely good with a large variety of breakfasts, lunches, rolls, sandwiches & a speciality home made curry. The food was to die for & I would rate it 10 out of 10. They are open everyday from 6am to 3pm & are very accommodating. We will defonatly be returning as the value for money is nothing short of outstanding. Give them a go as you will not be disappointed, good luck to them with their new business venture, Kind regards Rob,Kirstine & family.

Two of us walked across whilst waiting for our room at The Norfolk Arms Hotel. It is a lovely traditional tea room either a great menu. We chose different loose teas and my partner had a slice of Chocolate and Banana cake, which was huge! Service was excellent. They had WiFi too. We went back the next day …

Great flavour food, unusual combinations and excellent portions. A lovely light dining area and you can have a table overlooking the beautiful scenery and golf course. The only negative was the male servers who were a bit surly, but don't let this put you off as the young girl server was delightful.

Visited with the wife for Sunday lunch. Both had the roast beef which was tender and cooked to perfection. The staff are attentive and friendly. This is our third visit here and will be back soon. Thanks Jonathan and Donna from Bromley.

We found this restaurant by chance. It was very windy and we decided to try the fish and chips next to it, but it was full of people and we decided to try the restaurant. Well, I'm glad we did. They gave us nice double table and we were sat privately. That was lunch time. I had see bream and my wife had soup and salad. It was delicious. Then we came back for dinner later on, after we booked a table. Again, everything was perfect, deliciously cooked and down to the last detail. The staff is polite, the owner was a few times chatting to us, making sure we are all set. Perfect. All perfect. For me, the best restaurant in Littlehampton. A+++++
