I wish I had read the reviews before going here! The man who seems to be the only one there answering the phone, taking orders and cooking the food is the angriest, rudest, craziest man I’ve ever come across! Waving his arms about, shouting at me because I asked for sweet and sour chicken balls and he kept shouting THEY ARE NOT BALLS!!! I walked out and went to Waterside, super friendly, fast, hot delicious food.

Great food, seems fresh. Highly recommend the Salty Chicken, pork ribs and black pepper beef dishes. I lived in China for 12 years, so have high standards. This and Waterside Chinese Takeaway in Evesham are my go-to places. Best to book early as may be 30 mins - 1 hour for collection

Phoned order through and was told one hour. Turned up to collect at time specified and order wasn't ready. All dishes tasted the same. Very disappointed and not cheap either. Won't be using again. Would rather go to M&S and get a meal for half the price and 100% more taste.

Great food, ordered 5 main courses and starters and couldn’t fault any, all had a great tasty meal. All cooked fresh to order. The chef is definitely a Character, but don’t be put off. Would recommend.

Living locally and not being bothered about driving into town, we called in here. Really wish we hadn’t bothered! Every meal tasted the same, the beef was like leather and the rice was cold. The lady on the counter didn’t speak very good English and the chef is just very rude. Service is very slow too - & there was no one else waiting either. Next time we want Chinese takeout, we will go into town!

Everything about this place is atrocious. Paid nearly £18 for what would be a £13 order elsewhere. We were told their chicken strips were the same as chicken balls, only to find it was just a chopped up Birdseye chicken portion. It took them 40 minutes to prepare our order, even though we waited there to collect it. The portions were tiny, easily half what we'd normally have (chips in a tiny plastic tub). We also had to put up with the owner having a go at the delivery boy in front of us, threatening to sack him. How is this place even allowed to stay open??

This has to be one of the best Chinese take-aways around. Each of the dishes ordered had a different in flavour rather than the bland gloop accompanied by so many. The quantity of meat in each dish was generous and not covered in a thick coating of batter favoured by many to bulk out a dish. The quality meant it was good value. Will definitely be returning

Great tasting food which has been well thought out. Service was perfect and even got the opportunity its to speak to the chef, very friendly We will be returning!

Am writing this while still waiting for our takeaway. Ordered at 7pm were told 25 minutes by the lady out front which proceeded with the chef coming out and arguing no will be longer. We said okay should we come back at 8pm, agreed and came back at 8pm. Met with no not yet so I asked how much longer please, 20 minutes so I came back at 8.20 it is now 8.35 and am still sat here waiting. The lady outfront and the chef are arguing non stop and a man who also ordered at 7pm has just walked out and said don't bother. If I hadn't have paid I may of said the same. Awful awful service don't take any more if you can't cope. Would rather have been told sorry can't do it. Second time in trying this place as the 1st time an order was wrong I bought it back and the chef flew off saying he wasn't Gordon Ramsey. Sorry Ding ho but lost alot of custom tonight.

Ordered a family take away at 17.50 for collection this evening. Ideally wanted to collect at 19.00 but was told collection at 19.30. That’s all fine. Arrive bang on time at 19.30 to be told - with no apology - that they hadn’t even started cooking it. Not only that they refused to tell me how long it would be, offer any clarity why it was late. At one point the woman behind the counter said - I kid you not - “I don’t know what’s going on, I only work here”. She didn’t want to ask the “boss” who, eventually, after I insisted he came out of the kitchen, briefly popped out to explain the situation. He was unbelievably rude. “If you don’t want to wait, go somewhere else”... An absolute joke of a place. Avoid at all costs.

A superb little take out. The food is top quality, the portions are big and the staff are friendly. Go check it out and see for yourselves.

We placed our order by phone at 7pm and were told it would be ready to collect at 7.50pm. When we arrived they said it would be a few minutes longer - it was actually 30 minutes longer.... The food was confused, we struggled to work out what was what. It was tasty enough although we're not sure our order was correct. There are some lovely takeaways in Evesham unfortunately this isn't one of them - the service is very slow, the staff are frosty and the food is average. So in answer it's definitely not worth the wait!!

Would not recommend this to anyone. Rang to order and they said collect in an hour, turned up on the hour and got told 5 mins. 25 mins later it was ready! I’m sure they didn’t start cooking until we walked in. Complained and owner didn’t seem bothered. Food was cold, chips soggy. 100% go to any other Chinese but this one!

I've used this take away quite few times and have found the food to be normally excellent, however last week had a dish which was so overloaded on chilli it was inedible - and I like chilli . the chilli had that raw taste which is not pleasant i rang them and spoke to the very nice female staff member who told me next time to let them know and they will adjust the bill. Went in on Saturday having phoned through the order, There was a mix- up with the order but that was not a problem. She was very nice and helpful but then the owner/chef came out , was extremely angry and abusive. We tried to say we normally enjoyed his food - the dish last week was a one off, but he refused to listen and went into a tirade of abuse - including swearing. What was shocking was the level of anger he exhibited, it was extreme and totally uncalled for. neither the woman assistant or ourselves had a problem and were talking to each other in a friendly amicable manner. Food is very good and I would not say avoid this place but do beware of the owner . The female assistant is great- friendly and helpful!

First time for us, having tried dishes in other places it's seems unfair to compare but then this is how you know how good it is. We had crispy chilli beef, for me crispy it wasn't, the slices were to thick and being in too much sauce makes it soggy. It was quite hot with chilli but not ott. Szechuan chicken though spicy hot, wasn't great and we had chicken and mushrooms, that not being hot chilli didn't really taste different from the Szechuan so really waste of a dish. Would we return, only if we were stuck and not have these dishes again

Really good Chinese food at very reasonable prices. Convenient location with parking and a mini co-op next door for liquid accompaniments if required. Fast, friendly service with comfortable waiting area. Spring rolls are excellent...as was the Szechwan beef and Yang Chow fried rice.

I've been a couple of times over the last year and a half- first off, great value portions with loads of meat/prawns/etc-lately visit horrible-tiny portions and not very hot- hope they get back to their normal portions otherwise I will not be going again.

Definitely not the cheapest, very heavy handed with chilli in the food (and we love chilli). Probably won't return as there are better takeaways locally that are better value for money and food nicer. Shame.

The chef owner is a very pleasant and happy guy but the ladies he has running front of house are pretty grumpy. He does a good job of single handily doing all the cooking and what comes out of his kitchen us pretty good. I love the crispy chilli beef but it's usually soggy rather than crispy. The noodles are lovely.

Best Chinese takeaway around Evesham. We had lovely Singapore chow mein spicy.plenty of parking available. Best to ring order through as can get busy.we ordered ours picked up on time.

Best Singapore fried rice ever!!! Prices are reasonable and although the premises are not overly salubrious, the food was fabulous.

We have had a number of take aways now from Ding H in Evesham, the Hot & Sour Soup is still fantastic, along with the Crispy Duck or Duck with Pineapple which are all excellent. Highly recommended.

We just had prawn Toast, lemon chicken, prawns in ginger and spring onions, egg fried rice. We popped in and it was cooked in a few minutes and it was all brilliant. Definitely the best Chinese food for a long way ...

Always hot, freshly cooked and authentic tasting food. Easy parking and good service. Our first choice for Chinese in Evesham.

Lovely freshly made authentic Peking, Cantonese and Szechuan take away. We used to go to the restaurant they ran (China Inn in Evesham High St) and the food is always excellent.
