We live 10-15 minutes away max from this restaurant. Ordered a meal through Uber eats for my family of 5 as it had decent ratings and a fast delivery time(stated 15-35 mins). I wish I could say either was good as the food still hadn't arrived 40 minutes after the agreed delivery time. Attempts to call the restaurant were unsuccessful as they do not answer their phones. When they finally called me back to see what the issue was, they called the driver who I could hear clearly on the other line. He said that there were road blocks along the "Bromley Lane", a road I drove down quite easily not 2 hours prior! The person who answered the phone was hardly apologetic and said he would hopefully be there in the next 30 mins! My 3 yr old was so tired waiting for the food, he fell asleep and had to be put to bed. The rest of my family had to have a quickly made, alternative meal and be disappointed, rather than the nice takeaway meal that I had promised them. Thanks for nothing, and the lies and false advertising Dilshad - I shall be making better choices for my takeaway meals in future and I hope this review helps others from making the same mistake too

We ordered a delivery and paid online. The food came on time, it was fantastically wonderful. I recommend you give it a try in these covid times. No hassle no worry.

The customer service is so bad I can’t even discuss the food. I was hung up on three times lied to three times: my food will arrive in 35 mins, then I was told around an hour and thirty min later it had left 6 mins ago the restaurant is 6 mins away so give it some time call 30 mins later thinking where is this curry to be told my curry hasn’t even been made do I want to wait twenty mins their 35 mins has now clocked up to two hours so this fictitious 20 mins could be another two hours at their rate so I ask to talk to a manager and the same idiot I’d been talking to tried to make out he was the manager till I lost It with this clown show guess the joke is on me after I’ve waited two hours for this place, if their food is as good as their customer service I’m not too gutted I’ve missed out on an Indian tonight a Pizza Hut sounds more appealing than this place. Not impressed contact my back for a refund as I have no faith this place will give me my money back as they’ve already lied to me three times. I won’t order again all they care about is money as they wanted me off the phone straight away to get money from the next load of unhappy to be customers

Wow where do I start, haven’t been to this restaurant for over 3 years when indeed then it was the old monsoon which we visited regularly. Having read one of the reviews on this site we were a bit concerned on what to expect but how shocked we were. The Dilshad as been transformed into my opinion the best restaurant in the surrounding area’s,furnished beautifuly into a nice ambient setting. The food was to die for, exceptional starters and mains, plenty of food served for each course and really friendly staff. Sham, his brother and all the staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We will definitely make this our number one Indian restaurant to visit now,all I will say is please give it a try and you won’t be disappointed.

So this is the 3rd time I've ordered a takeaway. Always have the same tandoori mixed grill main. This time the order came 2hrs early!! It smelled funny, didnt smell of meat.Actually for an Indian it didnt have any smell. So I opened the tub. The lamb and chicken pieces were so small it looked like scraps.the prawn was rubbery and didnt smell pleasant at all. The shish was terrible, whole pieces of onion and a very dark brown and again smelt off. All disguised in a onion sauce which didnt smell of anything. Tried to call, understandably its busy but no answer, tried to contact just eat who said they were now closed. What a waste of money.

Think this used to be called the Monsoon Palace? Its now the Dilshad. Its been in need of a total refurbishment for many years and the new owners have done it. Visited here few few times over the past month or so and the food was served hot and really delicious. Loved the chef's special dishes we chose. Reasonably priced too. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Fully licensed but they will allow you to take your own wine in if you wish. Well worth a visit and we will definitely will be visting here again soon.

A lovely experience at the Dilshad with friends. The food was really tasty and hot and there was plenty of it too. I didn't realise there was an offer on Sunday-Thursday so that made it really good value for money which you don't get much of these days! The only negative comment I can make is that it was very quiet in there and I felt we had to keep our voices down. They could do with a little bit of background music to give a bit of atmosphere. Will definitely be returning soon.
