Food is 10/10. First time ordering here now I won’t be going anywhere else. Best chicken tikka iv had in ages. Quick delivery and big portions, HIGHLY recommend

best ever curry place there is a man called big allah and he is the best and very nice defo recommend this restaurant as the food and service is amazing 5 star for me.

just moved to the area and was recommended this restaurant, I chose it over my own high street local. so glad I did it was beautiful, meat tender , red hot when it arrived so so good .

No issues with the food, which was enjoyable. However, at the end of the meal, the owner was very rude and unpleasant to one of our group. He made personal comments about her appearance, and how he would like to change it. He had his face and then head right in her face. As a result she was most upset and this behaviour really spoilt our evening. We won't be going back.

food is very good, and a bit expensive, so getting the order right is important, so a £50 order was spoilt by receiving a chicken curry instead of a madras was disappointing, not had a madras in years looks like it will be a while longer still.

Excellent food, little pricier than some locally but worth it. Collect yourself, can be cold if delivered. Good choice of dishes.

Minor problem caused by myself. Sorted within minutes & food was superb also.

Always had a great experience. My daughter has a peanut allergy and they always provide her with her own chicken curry and rice dish which she loves - Not sure if you wanted to make a specific dish nut free that’s something you would need to ask them separately before booking. Makes eating out an enjoyable experience without the stress that comes with eating out with an allergy. Food is what you expect. They are happy to make alterations to your taste.

I absolutely love this place! I have celiac disease and these guys are on the ball with allergies! Never had any issues with food ,always fresh hot and tasty! The staff are sooo helpful and friendly I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Keep up the good work x

Food was very good but the delivery driver was not.Tried to speak to him but he just demanded my name in an aggressive way...So he's £2 tip stayed in my pocket and I won't be ordering again.

Don't like to leave negative reviews for local independent business; however we had booked a table for a relatives celebration, on arrival the restaurant only had one other sitting, but the sole waiter queationed us twice if we had booked, the reluctantly seated us, and then was generally sour and miserable throughout. Itnwas embarrassing. The manager/owner wasn't present on this occasion, but this experience will prevent us ever returning.

Have eaten in here last time I went and was impressed with their service and food. Takeaway this evening and same again! Thank you and will be along again soon

There was a lot less meat in both of the main dishes than has been the norm. This has been an increasing downward trend. One of the dishes is supposed to come with rice, and for the second time on the trot has been missed from the delivery. The food is tasty, but ever smaller portions and things missed repeatedly? Wont be ordering again.

Food was delivered in good time and was all still hot. Delicious with a good spice without being overpowering. Dropped one star as a pilau rice and onion bhaji were both a little too dry. Apart from that - every thing else all cooked beautifully and will definitely order again 👍🏻

We eat regularly at the restaurant and always great food Unfortunately the takeaway was awful Chicken was rubbery and parts grisly, onion bhaji were way overcooked ( hard , and dry in middle) The poppadoms were soft Awful meal to be honest and we had to leave it Ashame as we do eat in regularly

Blue spice has been recommend by several people, booked a table for 6 of us. Service was brilliant, very attentive. Food came out quick and was brilliant. We all had starters and then mains with rice and naan. A very good experience and will be returning!

This was my first( and last ). Visit to this restaurant. I arrived with high expectations as I was told that it was good. I was disappointed! I always go by ‘how good was the food’ in all of my reviews. The evidence here was that it was not very good The poppadoms were very light in weight as I’d never had the like of before. As there were no combination dishes on offer.all four of us had to have our chosen meal. The one god thing was that the chicken masala was good . The butter chicken was watery and had an unusual patty taste to it. The lamb in the Pasanda was chewy and whist my chicken chilli was ok l struggled to find enough meat in the dish. In fact when all the chicken (4 pieces) were gone I was left with a hatful bowl of sauce. All meals came in a pasta bowl and not in a tray which again disappointed me. To top it all when the bill came I felt that the prices charged did not reflect the area in which the restaurant is located.

One waiter was lovely the other was terrible Food was ok!!! Only people in there but waiter was pacing up and down obviously waiting for us to leave . Never again . Took issue up with waiter for proceeded to lean over counter and stare us out. Absolutely no need !!!! Would never return

Banging!!! Apart from chips wernt the best but edible

We ordered a takeaway on Saturday night, the nan breads where missing and ff the order, I called the restaurant to complain, they apologised and then today (Sunday) they sent us a whole new order without warning and free of charge, fantastic service and a wonderful gesture

Happy with the meal, yummy and arrived on time.

The balti was nice, the chicken was soft and good quality. That said, the chips came luke warm and the poppadoms weren’t very fresh.

TAKEAWAY - DON'T £50 for 3 of us and the food was horrible. If I hadnt had a drink I would have taken it back and thrown it in their bin instead of ours We had 3 different curries, korma, masala and pathia - all 3 it was just sauce without any spices. I would say they were left out, i asked for mine to be extra hot and there was nothing. all 3 in the bin and as it was my birthday ended up having a couple packets of crisps to fill the gap. This is a restaurant a group of us parents go to a few times a year. We probably spent into the thousands with this restaurant and now NEVER AGAIN.

Ordered here on recommendation as my usual curry house "Blue ball" was shut. Nearly £45 on basic un -authentic tasting food . Dont waste your time and money

Delicious as always! Food arrived quicker than stated, was at a good temperature for fast food - i.e didn’t need heating and tasted freshly cooked. Good portion size and lovely thick chicken pieces. Our go-to for chicken tikka masala!

Chose to order due to high hygiene review. Food was amazing. Tandoori mixed grill, various veg starters, lamb curry. All very tadty

Fantastic food , I really do enjoy ordering from this restaurant , the food is always hot and the flavours are beautiful , the quality of the naan bread is the best yet and I have never been disappointed when ordering from blue spice . Keep the standards up as your the best by far in the area .

One of the worst Currys I've ever had... the food was cold the onion bhajis were reheated but still cold...the so called balti was terrible the chicken had been pre cooked and cold in the middle but overcooked and dry.. and the sauce blood red was sweet and tasted more like tikka masala.. very disappointed ☹️

Are Google deleting reviews now? The food was awful (delivery). I went down and complained and the manager was so aggressive I nearly had to commit a crime to get my money back! Honestly, I've been to the Punjab, I know what a good curry is, and this place is waaaaaay off the boil. Avoid.

The lamb Madras I had from here last night was the finest curry I have had for years. Not that I ever have a bad meal from here, but felt compelled to single out last night's offering Absolutely superb. Edit 24-02-2023 Normally have our takeaways from Blue Spice but went for a sit down last night. Really nice restaurant, plenty of room, nice atmosphere, staff helpful and friendly. Had a great night.

Appauling service and food. We wasn't acknowledged, poor customer service and lack off communication. Taking into account we were the only table of four there in the entire restaurant as it was empty. The portions were extremely small and the food was very bland. No spice, no taste just bland. Very poor service from the restaurant, we will not be returning there again.The chicken 🐔 jumped off the plate, more sauce than meat in the dishes. Completely empty on a Saturday night. I wonder why.

Food was good but the biryani was missing the sauce so was just rice and therefore not a dish..disappointing as it was a birthday meal

Not impressed at all !! With this last order !! We put the wrong delivery address fair enough we called and changed it as soon as we noticed which was before our food was sent only to be shouted at over the phone by a rude entitled man !! Who then demanded and extra £5 for the delivery driver for the inconvenience even though our food had not left the restaurant! Fair enough our error we agreed to pay it ! Only to be told 25-30 minutes on the new address ok no problem! Over an hour later out food arrived cold and my curry had leaked in the bag so i was left with less than half !! Not impressed at all contacted just eat but got fobbed off ! Was a regular here never again !!

Lovely food a good night with the girls

Me & girlfriend tried for first time on a Saturday evening. Busy place, so seemed very rushed. I ordered a chicken madras but they brought out a chicken pathia instead. Decided to try it, just a shame it had hardley any chicken. Girlfriend had a sagwala & she agreed not much meat in the dish. Both of left still feeling unstatfied to an expensive meal out.

Went here for a meal about 14 of us. Food was great and all come out together. Which was fantastic due to being a large group. Was a bit disappointed being rushed out. We booked for 5.30pm in advance. And told when eating needed tables back at 7.30, that was fine, apart from a group of ppl come in before then and our bills were put on table and ppl literally watching us finish drinking and eating. And told needed tables. I found this a bit rude when catching up with friends. We should've at least got the time till 7.30 to finish. But otherwise service and food was good.

One word! Phenomenal food was fresh piping hot and just beautiful thank you so much for such excellent service and food :D

Blue Spice always estimates delivery at over an hour but it’s usually about 40 mins. Food quality excellent as always!

Says opens at 5pm on here but when call up says opens at 5.30pm first order got cancelled second order went thru the food was disgusting old onion bhajis burnt and vile, old keema rice was dry and nasty, plain fried rice we asked for completely plain it came with onions in it. Sheesh kebabs tasted like pure salt the only good thing was the poppadoms,mint and salad will never order from here again 😒

Queried the final price £4 more than we calculated. Going through the menu restaurant agreed but unnecessary hastle. I had a vegetable curry that was 90% potato, a cheap curry. Had a stomach upset the next day. Won't be going back.

Went on valentine's day, and they wouldn't allow your own drink for the night profiteering at its worst. There are plenty of other curry houses in Halesowen that are cheaper and better. We had already purchased our drinks because you are normally free to do so meaning we had to pay twice. There are a number of other curry houses in Halesowen that are cheaper and better, we will be using them in future.

Poor delivery time. No communication

Delivery was on time food would of been lovely if it was warm enough but because they forgot our chips we had to wait a further 10-15 mins until we could dish up so the food ended up being cold and spoilt, I wouldn’t usually complain if something is missed but this is a regular occurrence with this restaurant so maybe they need to take extra time actually looking at the orders properly, other than this the restaurant is nice

Best food Claire has ever eaten. Mine was nice too. The onion Bharji were moist yet crispy on the outside. A very enjoyable meal.

We always go here with family ,and our family who are not from the area and they love it just as much as we do been using this place almost 6 years and wouldn't go anywhere else as its the best Indian food around! The portions are really good amounts for the money ,dilshad rip you off for the tiny portions. Friendly staff ,good atmosphere, good food! Can't recommend enough!

After waiting for 50 mins they delivered very very disgusting food .Thank God We did not ordered something else from here because we wasted our money. Their food is really really bad , we ordered Butter chicken and it was Literally Chicken added in sweet halwa ( pudding) no salt no spices nothing was in it . If you guys don’t know the actual taste of Butter chicken then remove it from your menu . I’ m so depressed. Zero Stars from us
