Food was great and delivery was early. spoke to the restaurant as they had forgotten the naan bread within 10 minutes a freshly made naan breads were delivered absolutely brilliant customer service. Will definitely be ordering from them again

delivery driver was friendly. felt bad for him cause it's not easy to find my address. but we'll done to him. But as for your food it's some of the best food I've ever tasted!!

Full marks for Blakeys. Excellent service, good food and very reasonable prices. They still give complementary pappadams, salad and onion bhajis. Their dishes also contain enough meat pieces but mutton was slightly undercooked. Great!!

The food from Blakey’s is absolutely fantastic and consistently so. Huge range of dishes so you can try different things, great value for money and quality produce.

Food arrived early and hot. Driver was extremely kind. And the red sauce that came with the popadom was delicious. I’d like to know how it’s made.

arrived without rice so was up at 11.45pm cooking rice to go with our meal. And the lamb starter you sent was embarrassing I laughed when I opened it! wouldnt have fed that to a dog- we didnt eat it and will not be using again

Fantastically tasty food, and brilliant customer service. My partner inadvertently paid the driver for our order not realising I had already paid online at the time of ordering. The driver realised this when he saw our receipt and returned to our door within minutes to return our money. We are so very grateful to the driver, he’s an asset to Blakey’s. Thank you.

most of it was cold when it arrived

Lamb chops and chips were lovely, but the fish pakora/ bhajee and main dish had WAY too much oil. The pakora were actually dripping oil when we took them out the paper bags (!?) they arrived in. Disappointing because the smell was great, but apart from the lamb chops & chips, sadly inedible (for fear of a coronary).

This place was recommended to me by my Friend Adam. He promised me the best Madras I’ve ever had. Not sure what he’d been smoking! The madras had a nice spicy kick but was a little on the bland side. Not the worst I’ve had but not the best. Starters and sides were spot on though 👌🏼

We have been eating here for about a year and a half. Every single time the food is fantastic. Everything is always fresh and tasty. Each bite is full of flavour. Can't say a bad word about the place. We have tried various items from the menu and it's all beautiful. Try for yourself and enjoy years of great food, service and friendly people.

Charging absolute ridiculous prices for delivery. An example, £8 for two cheese naans, £3.30 for a bag of chips. 3 out of 5 for hygiene, sorry but you’ve lost the custom.

Used to be best about but after waiting over 2 hours! Phoned up and was told I said collection ,so I said why did I give u my card number plus last 3 digits if I wanted collection 🤔 they apparently told me I would get there last weeks onions bjas only to find out they put 1 extra poperdom aswell. Food was cold had to microwave it up on arrival 😒 rather starve to death than order from there again. Proper gone downhill. Poperdoms was lovely 😍 👌 👍

Would normally give blakeys 5 star but tonight they just confused the hell out of me Ordered a chicken tikka dansak and a korma turned up rang to say that they had sent me a korma they said they will send dansak straight out and whithin 15mins it arrives. But yet again it is a korma but this th has pineapple in it. Obviously they know the difference between a dansak and a korma they must just have had a load of korma sauce left over and are trying to get rid of it If they don’t know the difference Dansak DOES NOT HAVE COCONUT IN IT

I can't remember the last time I ordered a takeaway where everything I ordered was lovely the chip's,rice,nann and starter but the star of the show was the curry it was amazing probably the best curry I have had in year's

Perfect👌 big portions and full of flavour

Food took over an hour and a half to arrive (was told it would be about 40 mins) when it finally did arrive we were in bed, and it was cold, not even slightly warm and had to be reheated. We did try to explain to the driver we no longer wanted food but he didn't understand. Total waste of time and the food wasn't even all that.

I’ve used Blakey’s quite a few times and always really good food. However I had one last night and they let themselves down. Lamb chop starter had four tiny chops and only a thumb size of meat to be had on all the starter. Tropical balti to be fair was ok but the cheese and garlic Nan was not good at all. Disappointed after looking forward to it.

Very disappointed, tasteless, bland and very poor value for money. Tandoori mix grill meat was dry, chicken curry was tasteless and the naan was burnt. One of the worst Indian deliveries in the area I have tried since moving over here a year ago. Only one positive was the delivery time

Had the Lamb Karahi and the Chicken and Mushroom Balti of which both were really good. The Balti had plenty of chicken and a beautiful flavour and the Karahi was equally good. Free onion Bargi and popadoms. Best Indian I have had in years.

I had Akbari Chicken for the first time and easily the best Indian I have ever had ! It arrived super fast, delivery driver was pleasant, food was excellent. High 5 o/

Always arrives on time, often earlier that expected. Always hot, plenty of chicken in the curries and good portion sizes. Have had a variety of different dishes and would highly recommend. Hands down one the best indian takeaways ive ordered from. Never had a problem with them. Definitely my go to Indian!

Gross! My partners chicken tikka masala had 2 pieces of chicken in it, the garlic fried rice was hard and under cooked and small portioned for the price. The cheese and garlic naan was disgusting there was no cheese at all just tasted like I was eating a raw bulb of garlic and the Onion bhajis were like rubber. Will never order again!

So many things wrong with this curry I don't know where to start. * 1 piece of chicken in a chicken tikka masala * bland and flavourless * turned to water on my plate * couldn't taste any difference between chicken tikka masala, chicken patia, and a vindaloo..........yes seriously!!!!!!!! avoid this place like the plague, I have cooked better myself and i'm no chef.

Best in the Brierley Hill area in my opnion. Have had a variety of different meals from here and have yet to be disappointed. Last night's Dansak was lovely.

I've had many variety of different curries from Blakeys for the last couple of years which all have been exceptional and couldn't possibly think of any aspect they get wrong. The portion sizes are very good and the quality of flavour and presentation always seem to be setting the standards correct. Tonight had the Jackie's special and this dish was delicious really pleased with the meal and have previously tried there starters which have all been cooked with pride. 10/10

Always fantastic food, I had the tandoori mixed grill special and it was plentiful!big portion, tender chicken great taste! My partner has chicken tikka balti and again tasted fab and the meat was clean and tender. Food came earlier than expected too.. always our number one place for an indian.

Best Indian Take-away in Brierley Hill

Arrived on time, initially shocked by the neon green and fluorescent red sauces that arrived with the poppadoms, but got stuck in anyway. Bit too much of a ketchup taste in the chilli sauce, and way over coloured in the mint sauce but popadoms were fresh, and way more than we ordered. Main meals (vindaloo) were exactly that, where normally on a second visit to other takeaways, we have to ask for them to be “pepped up a bit”, not here, spot on heat first time. Portion size good, texture good, meat content not bad, smaller chunks but quite a few to make up for lack of size. Naan breads were good, average plate size, but the added bonus that real sliced fresh garlic was used, rather than an infused oil or butter to get the flavour, could use a little more cheese in the mixture, only just tasted it. Over all, a good all round meal, not badly priced, maybe just a tad more expensive than for the same meal elsewhere but fine. Would we order again? Yes it’s worth a second visit, sort the dayglo sauces out into something a little less colourful, cut the meat a bit bigger, and you would have got an extra star. Nice meal to be fair, worth considering if you are looking for somewhere new to try.

If you can’t get down to the restaurant then the takeaway is just as good always fast delivery with amazing food never had a problem with any of there takeaways. Would definitely recommend. If you like sweet naans try the peshwari naan as it is the best iv ever tasted it’s even better with chicken pakora and onion Bhajji along side.

Ordered a meal today for myself my brother, sister-in-law and nephew. The chicken Korma wasn't very nice definitely not a chicken korma as we know it. I also mentioned the 20% discount and only got £1 something knocked off which definitely wasn't 20%. The naan's were nice but the pilau rice wasn't the usual pilau rice were used to either. Wouldn't waste my money there again. £32 wasted 😣

Nice meal one item missing but replaced quickly. Always pleasant staff on the phone and delivery. Good value.

Ordered Tarka Daal, Paratha and a Chicken Tikka Biryani. The Daal was so thick with just some burnt onions sprinkled on top and all I could taste was the burnt onions. The Paratha was just dough and couldn’t even bring myself to open the Biryani. Totally waste of money Offered me a replacement meal but no way would I want any food to this standard

This is the real Blakeys . hes now moved from LYE to this location ...Sadly now only a takeaway, but that doesn't stop the quality delivering. Always a nice smile and greeted politely. The quality of the food i've always found to be excellent. a good range of menu .. I've always loved the Phaal from here , really tasty and as any phaal should be really hot.. Been a huge fan of Blakeys for years ... Sent friends and family in recommendation . Try his special fish its lovely.

Well what a fabulous welcome of are one and only lovely mr Blakey , I’m over the moon that I have found the best food ever once again.this bloke and his crew are so unreal , Blakey remembered what my favourite dish was from over four years ago . What a welcome and the food is the best ever , fantastic service, lovely staff and he is the best in the whole of the Black Country and further of field . Just hope he opens another restaurant so we all can get the atmosphere going once again . Thank you for such a tasty lovely meal xxxx
