Poor food preparation not the best staff. Not open to complaints and not welcoming 😞 went to have lunch with my family to find food looking like it came straight from a frozen and not prepared properly pound shop. The staff I spock to where loud and not willing to listen. Maybe on the reasonable side as far as pricing but you get what you pay for.

I’ve been a few times and unfortunately the standard has deteriorated and the price increased. Two breakfast items that are overpriced having had them both are the pancakes, £7 for shop bought and a few small rashers of bacon, and the Breakfast Bap at £6-7 which is massively overpriced. The large breakfast at £9 should perhaps come with a a tea to make it more appealing. Hot drinks overpriced imo also. Nice setting and clean.

Popped in for a bite of lunch, with my brother who was in a wheel chair. Straightforward, tasty lovely good value food. What struck me most was the friendliness of the staff, and the lovely atmosphere/ambience with lots of comings and goings for us to watch during our 2 hour visit. Thankyou! It was simply lovely!

We have been a few times, and while the pricing is much nicer of food compared to the Motorist next door, there are a few niggling things. Staff should be taught how to wait a table. They come half way through eating and take away plates. They will bring two orders, and while the others eat, two of us are kept waiting... and waiting.... (their food was going cold). The salad we were given was brown, and the cheese was the pre-grated cheese that had absolutely no taste at all. The tables are not wiped in between customers coming in, and their young staff need to be taught how to deal with customers. They also never have enough condiments and knives and forks. They do on a positive note do a good sunday lunch and full english breakfast. Careful if you book for the sunday lunch. you end up in the prefab bit with staff and customers talking over your head.. its like youre in a corridor. Plus the lady who serves is excellent at vanishing when youre ready for your second course!

Waited 15 mins to be served the two people were really slow behind the counter with a can’t be bothered attitude ask for full English told not serving it because it was lunchtime but the menu was on our table which wasn’t cleaned so decided to leave because the lunch menu was sparse, press button coffee machine and tea was mugs with a teabag in the mug no teapots

Food was absolutely amazing ! Complements to the kitchen. The kiddy picnic was such a fab idea ! One thing we were very concerned over was a member of staff we saw at the bar getting a pims- which we saw getting made. It had alcohol in it, when she was working. She was serving customers after she’d had it so knew she was still at work.

Our recent experience at the Coppergate Nero outlet this evening at approximately 6:30 PM was deeply concerning and has unfortunately led us to reconsider our future visits. We ordered a babyccino and an Italian cream bun. Surprisingly, the barista on duty appeared to be unaware that a babyccino should be served at a significantly lower temperature than standard hot beverages. The babyccino was served at a scalding temperature, resulting in our two-year-old child burning her mouth. This was an extremely distressing experience for our family. What was worse was the non-chalant behaviour of the same barista when we gave him the feedback on this. No courtesy to apologise and they even made us buy the water when we were in a hurry to get some to calm our toddler down. As previous regular visitors, we have generally been satisfied with the service provided by your past baristas. However, this incident has raised concerns about the current level of training and understanding regarding the preparation of drinks for young children. Due to the distress caused and the potential harm to our child, we will unfortunately not be returning to your coffee shop.

SCONES ARE Absolutely gorgeous, can't understand the review that says they are not. We call as often as we can for Lunch and ALLWAYS take a couple of scones home. The cafe as a great fair priced menu is fine and TAISTY. Good cheap plants as well. WELL WORTH A VISIT.

Booked the Sun Inn for a private party. It’s a great space. The food was fantastic and Ash and Kelly were really helpful. Would highly recommend.
