Digbeth Kitchen in Birmingham

This was not great. The food is of the lowest quality, and vastly overpriced for what it is. The bread is appalling, and the sandwiches have the barest of ingredients. Never again. It’s clean and the staff aren’t rude. Hence the extra star.

I went to get some lunch today. Friday 3rd may and the staff were extremely rude to me I was being polite and they were just being patronising towards me because I’m young. I asked for a fork and I was refused it as they only give them out to people who order a jacket potato. I ordered curly fries with cheese so in my opinion I should be offered a fork especially when asking instead I was given a wooden spork thing that snapped in the first 2 minutes. This isn’t the first time that they’ve been rude either.

The Digbeth Kitchen is a good little 'cheap eats' diner just outside the Coach Station, and much better than the others. Digbeth Kitchen has a very good selection of good-value hot and cold food, catering to most diets and healthy eating. The service and staff are okay here, but their hot food management needs some attention. They need to keep their hot food hot, not lukewarm. They're good but they are letting themselves down.

Si voy antes es porque el resto de las tiendas de sándwiches Digbeth tienen un precio más alto / tienen un servicio peor. . . Por otra parte, hay muchas opciones a considerar. La comida está bien, y los precios son geniales. . . Es una pena que los modales del personal y la confusión se establezcan donde se espera que el cliente "solo sepa" cuál es su trato lo ha decepcionado enormemente. Tal vez sea por su ubicación que cree que los estándares pueden caer, sin embargo, hay mucha competencia y con un poco más de habilidades blandas y pasos obvios para una experiencia del cliente más eficiente y cómoda, este lugar podría ser increíble.

Estuve en un par de veces mientras estaba en Birmingham mientras ayudaba en el negocio de mi hijo. Excelente menú de opciones que eligió un día una chaqueta y al siguiente una baguette que se consumieron 'en casa'. Las buenas raciones con opciones de ensaladas, salsas, etc. nos dieron el sustento adecuado para vernos a través de las tardes. Todo el personal fue atento, educado y amable. Sin duda volvería a utilizar.

I've eaten here many times and the food is good. Sometimes the portions can be small, maybe depends on who serves you or if there's an atmosphere. The only negative is that the service is mainly without a smile and one or two of the staff tend to be a little grumpy.

Great find, great food, the baguettes are especially good and good value, good coffee and excellent location really. Friendly welcoming staff.Highly recommended.

I arrived in digbeth an hour early for an appointment and was starving so came here for a breakfast. The lady who served me was lovely and the food came out hot and fresh. They do a super cappuccino out of one of those proper expensive coffee machines and they accepted Apple Pay 💰 Thanks for looking after me and keep up the good service. 👍

Very nice food to takeaway or eat in. Sweet chilli chicken baguette beats most of the one's I've tried in the city centre and below £3. Jacket potato with cheese and chilli also good and will put extra peppers on if you ask them nicely

Found this place by accident whilst killing time waiting for my coach. The coffee was excellent, the suffice fat and friendly. I bought a sandwich which had been made in the premises that day and it tastes even better than it looked. Much better than the chain food places around this area, I will definitely be back everytime I travel.

This place is a little gem and sits just outside the main Coach Station entrance. Whilst the Coach station does offer food, if you want some variety and some more wholesome options this place should be the stop off point. Be warned it gets busy, but service is quick and efficient, they will pretty much create a meal of your choosing from whatever they have in, and the staff are pleasant and quick to help out. Worth checking out their daily specials as some of the curry's are delicious.

Stumbled across this place by accident while killing time before a coach journey. It is right next door to the coach station (go out of the door between Upper Crust and Starbucks and turn right, it's on the right). The food is really good, and so much better value than the coach station. They have hot food too, but I didn't have any. Baguettes and ciabattas are £3.50ish and hot drinks are all £1.49. The staff are really friendly and there was hardly anyone in there so no queues. I'm sure it will get busier as more people find out about it. I'll definitely be going back!
