A lovely tea room with stunning views. The good is excellent and well worth a visit. Ann Marie is the perfect host and she does bake the most amazing cakes.

We only found this cafe as it’s off the main road because we were walking while on holiday. Such a stunning location with panoramic views across the countryside. Loads of outside seating. Check opening times on Facebook page. We had a ploughman’s (huge) and a sandwich, both were amazing but I forgot to take photos. 🙄 We did a lovely circular walk to have lunch here on route. I also had the hummingbird cake (come she’s try done it was amazing)! I wish I could bottle the quiet and peaceful location to take away! A must if you ever in the locality!

What a find. Tasty cooked breakfast, coffees and take away cream tea and carrot cake. Friendly staff too and the lovely Banjo the dog 🐩 . Just a shame the weather was too misty to appreciate the view. Will definitely be back. 😊

Best carrot cake in Devon. Beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Well worth the drive or walk to discover it. Wonderful service and excellent food. Did I mention the wonderful carrot cake? It’s a joy to visit, and the home made cakes are lovely as are the freshly made sandwiches.

Not only were the staff rude and unaccommodating but the food was, to put it politely , bland at best. The drinks were also almost cold by the time they got to the table after taking nearly 45 minutes to be made. The cafe wasn’t even busy. I really was hoping for something better down that charming little road. The only highlight was seeing the farm animals in the fields.

Stopped for a cream tea with friends and were so glad we did. The scones were fresh and delicious, and my sausage sandwich was so good. The owner and her team were friendly and the facilities were spotlessly clean. We’ll definitely go back.

On our way back from North Devon to West Sussex, we were on the hunt for a cream tea. I found Diamond's tea room through a Google search. We called ahead to make sure they had space, as we were due to get there at midday. We were warmly welcomed and had hot sandwiches and then a cream tea! It was great and the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. If you are passing, stop by and enjoy!

Just had our second vist in the past two days to this wonderful tea room. Friendly staff producing great food and sitting looking at views to die for. Not sure where the other reviewers visited but I'm sure it must have been a different place, I highly recommend Diamonds.

Having just read the 1 star 'terrible' reviews, i would just like to say that nothing has changed, having visited the tearoom this morning. Let's start with the positives, sorry that should be singular. The big positive is the site itself, on a nice day like today, it is certainly a lovely place to sit and enjoy the views out over the rolling hills and valleys of East Devon. That sadly is where it ends. Today's experience was not one that I would want to repeat. Service was terrible, attitude of the staff was a 'couldn't care less, charged £2.50 for a card that was in a bundle of cards on top of a basket. The card that I purchased was actually marked up at £2.00. She reluctantly and grudgingly refunded the 50p when this was pointed out. Charged me £4.50 for one scone, pat of butter and a tiny pot of jam. When I queried the price of the scone the reply was " well it has sultanas in it". A pot of tea for 2 came to £5.50, nothing to write home about. Staff were disorganised and dysfunctional and in serious need of staff training or replacement, Sorry to be so negative, but I have always been one prepared to give credit where it is deserved and due, but this is not one of those times.

This place was gorgeous! We had noticed signs when we were driving past and wanted to try it out. We sat outside and had 2 beautifully cooked breakfasts while looking at the pretty views! We were welcomed with a smile and felt it was lovely friendly and comfortable place. Unfortunately it was last day in Devon, so didn’t have the opportunity to return but when we next visit this lovely part of Devon, we will be heading back for breakfast!

RockinWarren was booked to play live music here. A local pub, great customers and some serious music lovers. The staff very friendly, nice place. We recommened this place to play at or visit. There is an onsite car park. Easy access into the pub and a nice area to set up and play in. Thank you for having us, we hope to be invited back some time. Great venue

‘D’ was the rudest barmaid I’ve ever encountered!! I normally only ever leave positive feedback but felt the awful service I received from the barmaid at the Brickmakers arms was so disappointing I needed be honest about what you can expect from visiting this pub. Rude, argumentative and obnoxious! She aloud people in who should be barred and then blamed us for buying them drinks. DON’T let people in who cant drink responsibly, and if you do, don’t blame customers for your mistakes.
