Deuce Lounge Barking in Barking and Dagenham

They (Barking Town in general) should make this a nice cocktail bar and try and bring in the English crowd, hipsters ect

During my recent outing to Deuces Lounge for an event, my friend and I were taken aback by the behavior of the female security guard at the entrance. She was seriously rude, and we couldn't figure out why since we hadn't even done anything. The way she gave us dirty looks and made snide remarks to her colleague was just bizarre. It would be great if the lounge could hire staff who are more friendly and have better customer service skills. These kinds of encounters really stick with customers and can affect their overall experience.

My experience at Deuces Lounge was utterly disappointing due to the incredibly rude and passive-aggressive behavior of one staff member, particularly the black lady at the entrance. Her nastiness and unwarranted hostility made me feel incredibly uncomfortable throughout my visit. It's a shame that such unprofessionalism tainted what could have been an enjoyable night out. I strongly advise against visiting Deuces Lounge unless you're prepared to endure unnecessary rudeness and unpleasantness from the staff.

A member of security was nasty towards for no reason and fully proved negative black stereotypes! As a black woman myself, it was a shame to see another black woman be so horrible, rude and aggressive towards me for no reason whatsoever!!

Ideal Afrobeats clubhouse for Saturday night. Fun and secured.

My friends and I had so much fun at the Duece lounge on Saturday night, the tickets cost £10 but I think that’s because they were celebrating sth. If not it would have been £20. If you’re looking for Afrobeats club, this is the one!

Bouncers are okay and the bar attendant are friendly. That’s the only good point, the rest are far below standard. I bought a ticket at shoobs however the lady at the door claim they made a mistake advertising it as a general ticket, however it’s for ladies only and that we should pay extra money. When queried whose fault for making the error that I should be responsible , she rudely responded that if I don’t want to pay I should leave. This was a scam trapping people to buy tickets and when you get there they rob you. The lady is very rude and either she or the management that advice her to take money lack common sense and responsibility. My checks on other reviews shows a lot of people have complained about her but management still keeps her, meaning she has been placed there to disrespect customers. Music lack flow and there is no audience engagement. Quality of people and the club environment, ghettoish, you can get in as a male with an ordinary singlets. If it’s good time you want with quality people don’t go there. Try LA lounge

Really lovely experience, made my birthday really special. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Management made sure everything ran smoothly . Been there since for a night out good atmosphere and music.

An interesting place to work but cool vibes until everyone had to leave nobody wants to leave at closing time

Place is always lively. If you like afrobeats then this is the place for you. Can sometimes get really packed that you can’t even dance properly.

I think this must be one of the best Afrobeats Lounge in East London. I have yet to experience this vibe in any other club. The music was ridiculously on point. The drinks were a decent price and everyone was there to have a good time. This is the second time I and my girls have gone there, this time celebrating my best friends birthday and they did not disappoint. I would say arrive early as this place does get busy quickly.

Definitely a fun lounge. I danced my heart out and it was exactly the kind of vibes I needed. If you want to find all the Africans around Barking on a night out, then The Deuce Lounge is your best bet because the Afro beats vibes is on point. The DJ kept going back and forth but later on, he gave back to back Afro jamz and I danced my sorrows away.

Great Dj! At times packed from 11pm others, it fills up at 1ish!,at times door staff are polite! Other times a bit abrupt yet a nice vibe inside yet entry fee is over priced! Drinks reasonable!, yet nooo prossecco 🤔

Ladies if you attend please ensure you’re careful. My friend was assaulted by two men there. Management did nothing to help and she has contacted the police. If you’re looking for a good time in the exact same location, go to Kings Bull. at least you won’t be assaulted by men there. We’re in 2022 and women are still being abused

First time visiting The Deuce Lounge over the weekend both Saturday and Sunday the DJ did amazing job nice music and nice vibes......However the female security and female door keep had a nasty attitude and don't know how to talk to people and the fact they try to justify the way they speak to people or handle customer was very unprofessional clearly some customer service training is needed.....its just a shame both time I visited I experience this on the first night was a Asian lady or Caucasian lady.....the second night was a big dark skin lady. The plead that the club owner look into this because that was not a nice way to start my girls night at all. It's one thing when a business have a lot of potential and its a next thing when the staff is not up to part.

Apart from people pushing in the queues when you've been waiting for quite a while this place is fun to be in. I've been twice and never regretted it

Scam! Went there yesterday and paid £20 entry into an empty place. Then then they tried to make us pay £500 for a table when the place was obviously empty due to the pandemic. Anyways we took our custom to LA lounge and had a good time. Keep the £80 entry fee

Fighting a lot music keeps stopping and they don't have some of the drinks that are local

i do not know whether they have the same DJ all the time.. certainly not.. but the DJ that played when I was there sunday 26th August 2019 most of the night did not allow tracks to last. most of the tracks couks barely survive 2 mins befire another one was played.. reason for the 2 stars. Also too crowded.

Food is Nice great atmosphere. But too many chairs on the dancing area. The staff here are nightmare especially the black girl at the entrance, collecting entrance fee. She is very very Rude. And the thing is the management here don't really care about how their customers feel about their service.

Had a pleasant experience with staff with a friendly and positive attitude. Would be nice to visit again and again, not bad at all. The environment is very welcoming and was able to navigate my way through happily.

Dissapointment of the highest order !!!

Worst club I have been to they the staff is rude the owners are disrespectful and try to disrespect and harass female patrons. It’s not a place with any class very dissapointed and will never go back. Made the mistake of eating some of their food and my belly was a mess for days. I question the cleanliness of their establishment. Save your time and health and don’t go.

Great night out. The revellers make an effort, ladies are looking on point; so are the men. Polite security, door staff and bar staff and DJ Sean and Co keeps you dancing all night with a super selection of afrobeats, bashment and hip hop.

I came here to support my friend who was performing, I would not come back it was so hot and their was no air conditioning everyone was sweating! #sweatbox

This place is frivolous and stupid. I will never go back there. First they got some low lives with no manners in the restaurant talking so damn loud like bunch of uncivilised fools. Second they hired a white polish girl as a customer service and server, in a place where there are plenty unemployed black people. Rather than employing a black person and train him or her adequately, they hired a white person. Have you ever seen a white server in Indian restaurant? They gave me a dry pounded yam with nasty sour taste egusi stew. I can make a much better egusi at home. Do not go to this frivolous restaurant and I surely will never go there again

Once you come to the DEUCE Lounge. You will keep coming over and over again. Drinks prices are just the best for a lovely lounge in the area. I love DEUCE Lounge. Best Thursday nite in town....

Been here on a couple of occasions for different events. Doesn't seem to be as popular as Kings Lounge across the road. Food is available (African) and service can sometimes be slow. Can be a little pricey given the area. £60 for a bottle of Rosè Bottega!

cozy place, decor on point, nice ambience, prompt service delivery. Tasty array of Nigerian /continental dishes. Highly recommended

Okayish for east London. Blows hot and cold. Some weekends its packed with a good crowd. Some weekends its as dead as a crime scene. Drinks are priced well.
