Brewers Fayre Dagenham in Barking and Dagenham

I’ve been a regular visitor to Chequers Corner Brewers Fayre, and it’s always a fantastic experience. The food is consistently very good, and you can tell great care goes into preparing each dish. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The value for money is excellent, which keeps me coming back time and again. On this visit, the carvery was especially good – the meat was tender, the vegetables were perfectly cooked, and everything was fresh and delicious. It’s such a reliable place to enjoy a meal, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! Looking forward to my next visit.

We had been Christmas shopping at Lakeside and decided to have dinner here We booked online in case the restaurant was busy since it was a Saturday evening. The restaurant was not busy but the food service was very slow and we waited a long time between courses In the end we cancelled our dessert and left The decor needed attention since surfaces were thick with dust

The Sunday roast at brewers fayre is very tasty and great value. £11.99 for all you can eat Sunday roast. If you sign up to the mailing list you can get 25 to 50% off on special offers. £8 for a roast dinner ? Mental.

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon at Dagenham Brewers Fayre. Food was lovely and service was great especially Jenny. Been many times before and a lovely family restaurant.

I went here for dinner while staying at the hotel next door. Brewers Fayre isn’t a place I would normally eat at but I ordered the sirloin steak and it was fine. The staff were lovely but the issue is the place is filthy - the upholstery & carpets are in serious need of a deep clean

Order fish and chips and grill gammon, the food was not fresh, they’re dry, looks like it’s been cooked already and was reheated after being ordered again. Secondly, the price were all different, on the menu 2 Mains £11.99 and the email was sent to Me saying 2 mains £10.99, which is match on the website. Not that I’m bothered about £1 different but as a business it’s not a very good advertisement.

Unhappy, rude staff, slow surface. When you walk in the big sign says wait to be seated. But you're just ignored. You have to go to the bar and give them a table number. But if you're on your own, when it's busy. How are you meant to stop others sitting at your table. Food portions are small

We had breakfast through the Premier Inn which was appalling I can honestly think of no other word for it - I have never been to such a dirty place for food and decor

very disappointing, I had fish and chips and mixed grill, the chips were soggy and cold, fish portion size and taste is OK, however the portion of meat in the mixed grill were very small plus chips no good, overall paid over 30 pounds with drinks not worth the money. No new food in the menu for months I was there at 12:10pm, but nobody at the reception of till, I went to toilet and come back and still nobody there, only someone was there when manager came back out of kitchen and tell somebody to come out of kitchen straight away and there was 15 mins later!!!

Beef was beautiful spot on. Lovely and tender. Vegetables cooked to perfection service outstanding as always and a lovely atmosphere

OK so here's our disappointing experience on our visit yesterday. Firstly, we had a reservation so expected to welcomed instead we were treated as if we should go elsewhere. As we approached the hosting station we saw the manager (Tallish,bald slim guy in a green t shirt) roll his eyes and tell the waiter to tell us there's an hours wait for food. The waiter, politely relayed this to us and we agreed that's fine we are prepared to wait. A waitress then proceeded to seat us at a table. She told us there's around a 30 minute wait for food, the same manager then approached her and said tell them it's an hour. Either way this was fine we were prepared for the wait. We ordered at the bar the food arrived 30 minutes later. The fact there was a wait for food isn't the issue (which wasn't particularly great) it's the way we were treated as an inconvenience and made to feel unwelcome. It seems the manager was doing his best to put us off dining there. The place wasn't even that busy. Please make your customers feel welcome regardless of what pressures you are under or simply polietly say you are no longer serving food due to a backlog. Anything is better than being rude. The waiters and waitress were fine and very polite. Perhaps the manager was having a bad day, but it is such a bad image for your company, very off-putting and really bad customer service.

Popped in on a busy Saturday morning. Was greeted promptly as we walked in and led to a table. Food was really hot and plenty of choice. Cooked food was promptly restocked if running low. Excellent value for unlimited buffet. Staff were polite and helpful.

I've just eaten the nicest meal at any brewers fayre I've stayed at. I travel the entire UK for the company I work for, staying in various hotel/ restaurants. The young lady behind the bar was so polite and friendly, very made us so welcome. Ordered our food at the bar and it was promptly bought to our table.. My main was chicken and rib combo. Presentation on the plate amazing,* compliments to the chef/ kitchen staff. Just delicious..

Came on a friday evening to meet with family . Who were staying in the Premier Inn all I all about 10 of us in total. We're seated by I believe a server called Maddy very nice and polite. Explained all the usual order at the bar etc. I had a mix grill upgrade the misses beef lasagne other family had sharing platters steak dinners few veggie meals lol all in all are mixed variety of mains. Few people asked for additional sauces and again I belive it was the manager rachel passing by asking if everything was ok who we asked for the sauces which she went and got her self with speed as like a flash a variety of sauces were placed on the table Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it great food everyone said so we even had afters (cheeky lol) Again, everyone had different deserts mine was the jam rolls polly just like how nan made, it was amazing. Through out the service Maddy came past and was very tentertive to anything we needed as many of us ordered extra drinks at the table and the deserts. Family from far away said they would be back again and would stay in the hotel and have dinner here again. A big thank you to all the staff at brewers especially maddy great time great food amazing service. We all met again in the morning for breakfast which was brilliant I rember rachel the manager again from the night before as she served us at the bar we all had the all you can eat breakfast (Some had a lot more than others lol) and the same great service again by servers and management all in all a great evening and a food farewell breakfast with family the following day will definitely be back

Parents took me and the grandkids for a family lunch. Had a fabulous visit. Frankie was our server and couldn’t be more helpful. Had a new Waitress too Maddie and she was so helpful bringing extra sauces and napkins. Service was great it was a great visit will be back Gonna book for Xmas too

This is a well overdue review. I am a regular breakfast customer here, the food is delicious always well prepared and if we have ever required anything cooked freshly the staff are more than happy to accommodate us, Rachel the manager has always looked after us she appreciates my grampa has dementia and even though he can be rude she always ensures he's happy. For as long as I have been coming to the restaurant the staff have always been pleasant and friendly. Recently I witnessed some extremely rude customers and was amazed by the way Rachel remained professiol and delivered great customer service skills despite terrible language been used all while maintaining a great smile for the rest of her customers. So although I don't usually write reviews this woman deserves to be recognised for greatness thank you for such great service on every visit

I stayed at the premier inn chequers corner as was down here on business. Decided to go for Breakfast last minute and was accommodated straight away by a member of staff. Food was delicious and set me up for the day. Staff were attentive so nothing to really complain about. I’ll remember this place when maybe, I’m back down in London.

Came here for breakfast yesterday morning with family and all i can say is that everything was fantastic! The food was lovely and the service was superb. However, there was one table that was so incredibly rude i couldn’t believe it, saying this, the manager rachel dealt with the situation with and unbelievable level of professional decorum and politeness. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this mornings breakfast and after watching the rudeness from that group of people i have nothing but respect for the dagenham brewers fayre team.

What an absolute delight came here for breakfast with my family upon arrival I was greeted by a lady called Rachel who was an absolute star could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was excellent value for money and extremely tasty , kids fav was making muffins . Will definitely be back food was delicious and staff friendly .

I don’t normally do reviews, however, based on the way this manager was spoken to by these guests and how she still dealt with it. I felt the need to do so as people like her don’t deserve to be spoken to like that, and given a false review on how the situation was handled. Having seen the comments left by the table and the comments and depiction I’m glad I have. I believe the manager remained calm and professional towards the guests even after they treated her disrespectfully. I didn’t have a problem with my food was all up to a lovely standard and I enjoyed the service and conversations I received from all staff today, I was very pleased with the breakfast and service I had this morning.

Have just returned from Brewers fair all you can eat breakfast in Dagenham. I was dreadful meal I have ever had. It was cold so I did not eat my breakfast at all. I was with with 5 other people and there food was a cold too. They ate some of it but again it was cold. We had been up all night and was cold and hungry. I asked for the manager Rachel she was very rude and offered to cook us all new breakfast. Like I have said we had been up all night and just wanted to get home and to bed so we said no thank you She was not very happy. I got a refund because I had more on my plate. One off my friends had some left on her plate and the manager said to her you have eaten enough of it. Well she only had one sausage beans a a bit of back on and that was still on her plate. She told my friend never to come back. The others filled up with crumpets and toast. Went to this brewers fayre for breakfast it was busy as usual for a Sunday but the staff was very nice and I was served by Rachel who was very helpful aswell definitely deserves more than 5star if it was possible and the unlimited breakfast was great so a big shout out to the chef for keeping up with everything would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a nice breakfast with friendly staff
