Lunchtime was filled with young kids running around, possibly different in evenings. Food was fowl, was not fresh. However this is expected from such cheap prices, you get what you pay for. But do not let the decor fool you, inside the restaurant looks quite decent that is not the case.

You want good food, genuine smiles from the people behind the counter & polite, curtiouse waiters then this is the place for you & your family. Food is well priced & taste authentic. It's not a fancy place with expensive decor but the food is right, the service is right & the price is right. What more do you want, the veg curry is excuisite. Always a winner this Restraunt. Bravo!!!!!

Have been here a few times, both with family and friends. Having a buffet means you know the cost and can change what you want. There is a good selection of dishes, all well cooked and a good variety. The puddings could do with a bit more variety. If you go early, not all the dishes will be out. They have dropped their price back to £8.99 each so very good value. They do clean up after you between plates and are quite friendly.

Once your eyeballs have overcome the attack of the decor & chair colours - settle into a genuine Balti pleasure of fresh spices & upfront Pakistani cooking, all prepped in full-ish view of the customer. (The kitchen is set at front of house behind glass screens.) Its a traditonal non-alcohol set-up with soft drinks & fresh Lassis only. They work wonders & are particularly good with lamb & veggie choices. Really really very good & quite low budget.

I am regular at this place for a very long time. This place has become buffet now I tried it 2day ago. I was surprise because it fresh and it was very bussy. It's value for money £7.99 pp. over 35 dishes. Starter cooked in front of you. The experience was wonderful. I recommend this to people.

Went in for a meal with the family , although the Restaraunt had only 12 customers the waitor asked that we sit on a table which felt the full breeze of cold air, after complaining we were moved and found that te entire Restaraunt was freezing, no central heating but only 2 gas cylinder heaters, we asked if a heater could be brought closer to us and we were informed that they need one heater next to each door and this was not possible along with the fact that the air con only blows cold air. I looked up and realised the building was freezing not only due to lack of heaters but also because the ceiling tiles Were missing. After complaining that the baby was cold we were informed that the whole building is cold and they can't do anything about it. We waited for a waiter to come back but after 10 minutes no one came. The table of four next to us also complained and were also treated with the sme hostility as a result we left. The experience was very bad we will never go back nor recommend to anyone.

I wouldn't call myself a fan of Pakistani food as pretty much every restaurant has the same menu/flavours so you really know what you are going to get. However, I never turn down the chance to go to Desi Khana in Stratford Rd (nr the traffic lights at Foremans Rd junction) because the food is exceptionally good. We always have a fine range of starters and, perhaps because it is literally still sizzling on the plate as we serve ourselves, the taste is amazing and so obviously freshly cooked - as with any of the main meals we have had. Even the butter/ghee on the naan is still glistening and moist it's so freshly done. The restaurant itself is quite roomy - no elbows from neighbouring tables, and the furniture very quaint and rustic. The service is polite, efficient and unobtrusive - no chatty overfriendly waiters which seems to be a growing (unwanted) trend in so many places. It doesn't serve alcohol, for those inclined, but if you can do without for the sake of a really good meal, I am sure you'll find it worth it!

Lovely little restaurant with fantastic food and friendly staff. This was our second visit here, and it has been a great experience both times.

Appalling attitude from one of the staff this evening. 'Soy sauce sachet isn't free, we are giving only because we want to give' was exactly what I was told! As an Asian who know sushi culture more than that particular non-asian staff, please note that soy sauce and wasabi are part of a sushi meal. If getting some soy sauce would be so tricky I suggest Yo Sushi stop serving sushi altogether. If the area manager is looking at this, please check and educate your staff. N.b incident took place on Monday 28/10/24 around 9-930pm.

AVOID - had a booking for a friends 40th which we paid £70 deposit. They even called up the week before to check if still wanted booking. We arrived at 7pm on a Saturday night and it was all shut. Called number and chased our deposit numerous times and had no response. Turns out they closed in July due to a fire and must have been chancing it with our deposit. Shocking customer service!

The lack of options & willingness to accommodate for gluten free is seriously poor. Yo sushi has gone backwards in their ability to accommodate gluten free, considering sushi can very easily be made so. However some chains have had managers that try to help. At Selfridges Yo Sushi it was truly painful to speak to them about it. Yo sushi - in this day and age it shouldn’t be so hard!
