Derby Road Deli in North East Derbyshire

Popped into for a lunch run for the fam and I was delighted to see they had vegan options so I could get fed too! 😁 A vegan sausage bap or a vegan brekkie! They also do chips but I’m not sure if they’re vegan or not.. the rest of the menu is huge though! And free parking right outside. Will definitely return for brekkie with my partner :) Just need some vegan cake for dessert please!

This must have changed management, breakfast cobs used to be fantastic with great ingredients. Called in today for 3 breakfast cobs, they was awful, cheap bacon, terrible sausage overall crap, but with a good food price tag. Not be going again

Finally a sandwich shop that takes hygiene seriously, gloves are worn, no handling of money with the gloves on, they appear to change them regularly, its so refreshing and reassuring. The staff are super friendly. They have a great selection of hot & cold food, the homemade scotch eggs are delicious, the cakes are nostalgic and yummy. There is a lovely seating area to sit outside. They make nice hot drinks. They do a killer breakfast. The only tiny bit of feedback for improvement, the jacket potato to filling ratio could be better, there’s never enough, you might be able to pay for extra but you shouldn’t have to. Best sandwich shop/deli in Chesterfield by far.

Chicken tray is insanely delicious, so are the scotch eggs and the cakes, and the prices are crazy good too. Definitely a recommend and I’ll be stopping by again for sure! Amazing.

Have been a couple of times and have always enjoyed the breakfast offerings. Always seems busy.

What can I say except truly fantastic. The staff are so friendly and helpful nothing is to much trouble, excellent food and impeccable standards of hygiene and care. I have been in more than once now and they are always ready to help. Excellent value for money always fresh and made in house. I can't recommend them enough 💕

Picked up a salad on my way into work it was lovely really really good lots of variety in it really enjoyed it and I don’t normally eat healthy! Had potatoes pasta egg beetroot couscous brilliant salad

Just another fast food/cob shop . Chesterfield is flooded with them. Unfortunately I won't be returning because it is very expensive for what portion sizes you get compared to many others in chesterfield who provide the same food selection. Staff was also rude with sharp attitudes. And to top it off we was made to stand outside in the rain under a shelter with no sides so still got wet as the rain was blowing in from the side . Not good when you have kids.

Excellent food and great customer service

The ladies in the shop are absolutely wonderful, they have always given us fantastic service and are so fast as well. The food is always amazing as well, I would personally recommend the Yorkshire pudding wraps they do on Fridays are one of my favourites.

Not what I expected, what appears to be a wharburtons cob passed off as a large sandwich. Calling it a deli is a little over the top. Won't be going in again alot better available within half a mile.

Cobs are usually fire. For some reason, I've had chilli sauce or something on my cob when bbq was written on the bag. Please learn how to read. I could have been allergic to chilli. As nice as I could of been.

This Deli is a must if you are travelling in or through Chesterfield. The menu choice is excellent. The food is brilliant and freshly made to order. The prices are excellent for the amount of food you get! The staff are always happy and helpful, and even remember you when you've only been a couple of times before! There is a small seating area outside (for about a dozen people) which they have tried to make secluded from the road with canopy and well-maintained fencing and faux shrubbery. All very tasteful. Can't speak highly enough of this great little deli.

Regular at Derby Deli, all the ladies lovely & food always spot on. The main thing for us as a family is the hygiene. The lady who handles the food wears gloves & never handles the money or uses till or card machine. Always two servers. Not many places follow this. Keep up the great work.👏🏻👏🏻

Good food . Over priced. Best cob not as much filling as linders up road across from speed camera. Same cob cheaper and twice as much filling.

Me and wifey just had a breakfast cob and a smokey bacon cob and they were delicious! Hot and tasty, best take out in this area by far! Friendly service and nice seating area outside. See y' soon!!!! 👍

Great to see this place back open after it's refurb. Ordered two large hot roast trays, one pork, one chicken, they were ready to collect within 15 mins. There was plenty in the trays and it tasted great, we'll definitely be ordering again from here. Excellent, friendly service 👍🙂

Still a great shop, however toast is the most expensive from here, Now then, what a great corner cafe, great to park outside as well. The food here is great, they cover all aspects from breakie to lunch. Sausages are great and the selection is second to none. Great cobs for sandwiches as well, well worth a visit, no cardboard sausages here

Waited 20 mins for a Tuna Melt with an empty shop and all the staffs attitudes were terrible! Won't be going back ever!

We needed a buffet urgently due to a high up regional manager - provided us with pie, peas chips and roasted potatoes, sandwiches, pork pies, fruit and puddings. Worthwhile price wise and tasty food. Such helpful staff and would highly recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We go here at least once a week. The choice is outstanding, the food is always fresh and excellent value for money. We had workmen in from Derby when they had food they said it’s the best they’ve ever tasted and if they lived local would be there every day! 🤩

Poor service. Pre ordered food for 12:35, paid on arrival to be stood outside in the freezing cold and they hadn’t bothered to make our food even after arrival and allowing customers to come in. Food wasn’t given until 1pm with no apology.

My boyfriend says this is the best sandwiches shop around here... But only when the boss is in, prices depend on who serves you and unless you speak directly to the boss lady you end up with stuff wrong, would still recommend but today has been by far the worst experience here
