Best value old fashioned lunch stop you will ever find. Jacket with cheese £1.70. Really nice.

Sausage and egg sandwich BIG , 1.90 yes only one pound ninety cup of tea 60p absolutely delicious, you must go there, instead of paying fortunes at these fancy sandwich shops. Great quick friendly service too.

Been going here for years, because its good economical food and there's plenty of choice. I like the corned beef squares, but I've tried most of their sandwiches too, all good.

Newcastle's Grainger Market has been part of Newcastle's shopping experience since 1835 and has a multitude of shops. One of these is "Dennis & Junes Sandwich Fayre", where you can get the best bacon sandwich in town. It's not just about bacon though as they could even supply you with a full English breakfast if you so desired. They also do meals with chips, jacket potatoes and even curry. The prices are reasonable and each order is made up " Fresh" as you wait. Well worth a visible visit to this little establishment and meet the friendly staff. (Aisle 2, Unit 85)

We have been here most Saturday lunchtimes for years. They know our order by heart....Best ever chips and cheese or chips and gravy - juicily fried and generous servings with a huge smile. Very good value. We have often been asked where we got them from. You can then find a pew to watch all the other people eat their vastly overpriced pizza or artisan fare, while looking enviously at your hugely good value chips as they pass. Then you can browse round the wonderful Grainger Market, looking at the fresh fish stalls, the delis, the cheese shop, and lovely fruit and veg shops. You can't go wrong with Dennis and June's.
