Just had wonderful cappuccino and amazing coffee and walnut cake , this place is so so much better than anywhere else locally , a good selection of food and a friendly atmosphere . Highly recommended , pay them a visit and have cake

I only popped in to grab my lunch but the service is absolutely fantastic, not to mention how good the food was🤤 The tea room itself is gorgeous and the food is reasonably priced. All the staff were super welcoming, I will defo be going back☺️

We found this place by chance and couldn’t be happier! Staff were super friendly and very helpful. Place is lovely and clean, spacious and welcoming Everything we ordered came out tasty and well presented. Cakes are lovely, had an old school traybake and coffee cake. Moist and can taste they are freshly made. We will be returning time and time again. Thank you!

Lovely Coronation chicken sandwich, gorgeous flavoured dressing on the side salad and a superb latte. I was accompanied by my two year old granddaughter who enjoyed a very huge tuna sandwich…..fresh bread was great, but doorsteps for a little lady was a little too much….please slice bread thinner for little ones

First time visitor to this establishment, found it to be nice and modern and clean. Friendly staff and the full English breakfast was very nice

Lovely friendly and welcoming staff . We wanted a bacon sandwich even though breakfast had finish they still happily made us one ...and we was not disappointed! Nice thick fresh bread and a good amount of bacon !! Will definitely be back !!

Let’s start with positives , the tea rooms is lovely and clean and they staff was a very attentive , ordered a jackets potato ,this was just microwaved so soft skin and not that nice to eat to be honest . The next thing we ordered was a sausage sandwich, I was asked if I wanted it in granary or white bread, I asked for granary was given the sandwich on white bread ( the white bread was fresh and thick doorstep cut so this is a nice touch )and the sausages was cold ( would be much better if these was hot . With a few simple changes and more attention to detail I’m sure this place would be successful but they need to work on on these small things for me to return their again especially with the competition nearby.

Visited for breakfast with my husband on the 14th Oct. We had a Full House Breakfast and I had a Bacon Bap. They were both lovely meals and I couldn't resist a delicious slice of victoria sponge afterwards. The sponge was light and fluffy with a perfect amount icing and jam. My husband and I both commented on how nice our Latte and Cappuccino were so much so that I ordered myself another Latte (Costa and Starbucks don't even compare). We will be coming back and I've already promised my mum a trip to the Dengie Tea Rooms when she comes to visit. The gentleman who served us (assuming the owner) was very welcoming and attentive and working very hard taking orders, making drinks and cooking until more help arrived mid morning. I'm looking forward to trying lunch on my next visit and eating more cake.

We went here for breakfast on Friday morning. Spotlessly clean, super friendly staff and very tasty breakfast. Highly recommend and looking forward to going again soon!

We've been twice, once for lunch and once for cooked breakfast. The staff are really friendly and genuinely seemed to care that we enjoyed our meals. Food was good with slightly unusual and interesting variations. Great cakes and a good range of teas.

The Tea Rooms open nice and early, so we popped in for a morning cuppa. My partner pimped his with a bacon butty that went down a treat. Simon, the owner was super chatty and it was great to hear how the Tea Rooms had evolved during the Pandemic. Anyone opening a business over the last year or so knows how challenging it has been. The menu covers all of the usual suspects: sandwiches, salads, as well as a selection of lunch dishes that look very apetising. Plus, I have not mentioned the cakes that are all made locally. Dietary preferences are catered for too. You just need to ask as not all of their dishes are gluten-free. Next week, the Breakfast Menu shall be launching. Count us in!!! Save the date for the Winterdale Manor Christmas Fair taking place on the 18th and 19th of December. There will be Stalls, Santa's Grotto, Hog Roast, Mulled Wine, and no doubt one or two other surprises.

Stopped in for a pot of tea and cake with my friend. Clean, friendly and delicious food. Some vegan choices which is impressive given the quiet, village location. Been told the vegan options will be increased in the next few weeks too. Will definitely make it a regular visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our family lunch today and nothing was too much trouble! Great food and friendly service. The toilets and baby change facilities were so clean even my little boy commented on how nice they smelt! We’ll definitely be back sampling more off the menu! The brownies were also a hit for our pudding too which was then finished off with a trip to the lovely huge park opposite - perfect for families!

Very nice cafe with delicious food and great service. Our little one loved the sandwiches too. Would definitely come back again.

Visited this new little tearoom today , really great looking place, friendly customer service and lovely tasty food- cakes really tasty , wide selection to choose from you won’t be disappointed- definitely worth a visit
