Discovered this cafe a couple of months ago and was impressed by the food and friendliness of service - very obliging. Consequently I have lunch here at least twice a week apart from a Wetherspoons Pub (Bluecoats). I highly recommend this cafe for snacks and coffee ( to die for).

Ordered breakfast for myself and my daughter, breakfast arrived sausages must have been cooked several hours before as hard at one end, forgot tea for two had to ask for it half way through eating. Tea arrived with one teapot and one cup, said I had paid for tea for 2 so they brought me another cup so only had half a cup of tea each. Will miss this cafe next time in Rotherham.

3 of us Went at lunch time and ordered food and after 40 minutes of waiting for a panini, asked for a refund as they were doing other people's food instead of ours, staff very ignorant and manager needs customer service training never again.

We were hungry for lunch after walking around Rotherham and seeing the sights. This café was inviting and we were very satisfied. Fish and chips served hot and delicious. After the meal we bought three scones and later that day had them with tea. Exceptional. This place is homey yet quite modern looking. Friendly efficient staff.

We visited this cafe on Armed Forces Day during a visit to Rotherham and was very disappointed. The waitress with the long ponytail who took our order at the counter did not speak other than to ask for the payment. No please or thank you - really rather ignorant! The waitress who brought our food was hardly able to ask us if we wanted any sauces as she was eating and had her mouth full - NEVER should this happen!! We used the vinegar but this was watered down so much it was flavourless. The food was very average also with no flavour. Would not recommend this cafe to anyone.

Came in with my daughter for a snack. 4 staff on but seemed a bit disorganised. Daughter's sandwich came out a good ten minutes before my meal, so she had more or less finished by the time my chilli arrived. Other customers are having similar problems. My chilli when it arrived was nice but overall it was all a bit chaotic. Try it yourself, but I wouldn't rush back.

This café is run by a very polite ,cheerful Turkish man.Nothing is too much trouble and you do not have to wait ages for your food. The tables are cleaned after every customer and the food and drinks are good

Popped in here before the rugby. Old style cafes as they used to be, catering for locals taking a break from the shops. Eclectic mix of tables, predictable 'all day breakfast' type menu. Burger and chips was pretty ordinary, but prices are cheap.

There are numerous cafes dotted in around Rotherham town centre, I made it my business to pop in at the Delight Cafe Lounge, which I noticed hasn't been open very long It's pleasant, well located, airey, with a good selection of hot,and cold drinks, soups, sandwiches snacks,Paninis, breakfast options, salad platters, wraps, jacket potatoes, a kids menu and delivery service to boot, prices seem reasonable too. On my recent visit a few days ago, I notice the place was busy, so it seems to be getting quite popular, I would put that down mainly to its central location, its comfortable design, plentiful choice on the menu, and not least, the owner seems to take a personal interest in welcoming customers, in my case on my first visit I had hoped to have enjoyed Earl grey speciality tea with lemon slices and honey, but as seems common with these sorts of places they couldn't put this menagerie together, must say it wasn't my world didn't end there and then. They did promise that the next time I called this simple combo would be available, sure enough it was, personally supervised by the owner.Must say, this attitude to customer service seems a rarity nowadays, but its a sure winner, maybe then little wonder the Delight's popularity is on the up! , As a result of my own expreience I would very happily recommend the Delight Cafe Lounge as a worthwhile pop-in visit.

To the owner of the fairways, you do not deserve your staff. The fairways is MASSIVELY understaffed, the staff are rushing round like something demented, one person trying to do the work of 3. Sunday lunchtime - one bar staff serving drinks and doing orders for lunch. One young girl in the restaurant serving meals , clearing tables and wiping tables and setting them PLUS taking bookings. The chef, cooking meals, filling up the veg containers, serving lunch and carving meat. We have been going for Sunday lunch every week for over 2 years and as staff have left they have not been replaced. Something needs to be done before they start losing custom.

Went for Friday as its fish and chip day. As sign outside, showed it was their special for the day. The chips and Mushy peas were average, hard to get wrong really. However the fish not so good. The batter was crispy on outside then wet and slimy inside, looked horrible. It also contained the thinnest piece of fish. It cost £10.30 clearly not worth it. However the service and drinks were good. But as we mainly went for food 2* rating for me. Should have been a sign when only a handful of people were in pub.

Great food, good atmosphere. Best steak we've had and we've been to Miller and Carter. Our waitress Brooke was amazing, funny, attentive and so so friendly.
