On the week end we went to delicious corner at Victoria park, the customer service was outstanding though it did look like there could have been more staff, but despite that they managed well. It was such a calm atmosphere the restaurant was packed but was so peaceful.. we ordered 4 of there chargrilled chicken sizzlers and the food came out so lovely and hot and tasted amazing.. I would recommend this place to everyone specially if you like your sizzlers.

Have been here few times with family. Some of the food is nice,service is very slow. Recently it has gone down. The owner is not there most of the time,service is very slow and the food is not up to standard. They serve the gazebo chicken when it arrived it was tiny when complained the waiter said it was half baby chicken and they were charging a bomb for it I sent it back and refuse to pay for something that is misleading. For families would not recommend as it would be too expensive. Parking is a problem,the African drink is kola tonic which is really nice,steak roll is nice. Think the owner needs to be there to check on his staff.

We visited this restaurant with the family and I must say the food was delicious! We ordered Piri Piri dry and saucy prawns. The children ordered the chicken burgers which were very tasty. Service was slow but that's because it was busy. The restaurant was full before we arrived and more people kept coming as we left. Definitely worth trying, we are going again soon!

Will never go to the pavilion again!! My Pepper steak was stale, chips cooked in really old oil. Tasteless noodles. Worst place I've eaten in leicester. Wouldn't eat the food even if it was free!!

This is my 4th time coming here and luckily we pre-ordered in advance as the food always takes a long time to arrive. Apart from that it is an excellent place to eat out in and I would recommend it to anyone. I would personally recommend the Peri Peri steak.They also have there own car park which is accessible as parking can be very hard to find unless you park on the main road which is quite a long distance especially with kids. The staff are friendly and will chat to you but it gets busy at times especially in the evenings. I would definitely say it's an improvement since previous times.

Casi 2 hora de espera. El primer plato que pedimos de alguna manera no estaban ordenados. Me salsas y sal 5 minutos después de la comida. Lugar sin duda necesita ser reformado.Pedimos t bone tamaño raro. Volvimos bien bien hecho. Muy duro. Peor bistec que he tenido.El servicio también era bueno, excepto de los no africanos hermano cuyo nombre no podía conseguir. Él era muy amable.Me volver? No hay ninguna posibilidad.

One of the staff member guided me too the place as I'm not familiar with the area that was nice of him. 30 mins waiting time food was nice 7/10

Para ser justo había un grupo de 12 de nosotros con unos pocos de los principiantes sin embargo sigo pensando que era inaceptable para nosotros todo esperar más de una hora para nuestras cenas.Cuando llegamos, creo que sólo había dos mesas (total de 4 personas) y nuestra mesa. En el momento de la comida llegó, el restaurante estaba lleno y yo sentimos mucho para la gente con niños que sin duda estará esperando más de una hora para la comida.Mientras que nuestro camarero hizo un trabajo aceptable, sencillamente no hay excusa para ese nivel de tiempo de espera.Una vez dicho esto, me gustó la t-bone steak por su ternura pero varios amigos no eran demasiado entusiasta.Segunda hasta la selva Paprika en mi opinión.

Frequent visitor Excellent food, can improve on service though. Staff is courteous I guess they are stretched, let's see how they do today!!

Food is good but the service is on the down side. We are regular customers but the service is unacceptable. We order the same things from the menu all the time but the bill varies every time we visit. The manager acts as if he is doing a favour, with the unprofessional customer service!!!

The pavillion is local to me and me and my wife enjoy eating there often. It has a good atmosphere when busy and the staff are friendly.I only ever order the lollipop chicken for starters and for mains i order the peri peri steak with masala chips. my wife orders the peri chicken steak.The steak is always cooked to perfection and goes very nicely with the peri sauce and peppercorn sauce provided.The only negatives would be the portion size of the steak can vary. Service can be slow and unorganised. Parking is also an issue when going at peak times.

whatever cake design you prefer this place will do there best to cater to that preference. they also have a choice of freshly prepared food like grilled chicken and wraps etc and can eat it or take away. we ordered a wedding cake and it tasted like it had been made that same day, so fresh and soft.

Yes its run down with odd chairs that are scuffed etc.....but im gna talk about the food. We ordered a platter of prawns.....they arrived with the shell and head still on and covered in ketchup. The prawns themselves were tiny. They were not cleaned and bits of shell mixed in with the sauce........ inedible. My mocktail arrived without crushed ice or even an ice cube....it was warm and horrible. The waitress delivering the food had her hands actually touching the food. The chips were stuck to the sizzling platter and came to the table as charcoal. Service is slow.....but i would not mind if it was worth waiting for.

The steak here was enough to make my mouth water up. I have driven twice from London to this joint, the staff are polite and serving time is good. The steak cuts can be cut more thicker none the less tasted delicious, the chilli chips always hit the spot for me. The place could do with some renovating for more of a professional look. Other then that great foood!!!Food: 9/10

Tried this restaurant for the first time. The location is great and has good parking facilities. But once you get there you will notice the place in and out needs some care and attention to the decor. The furniture is plain and needs changing, some of it damaged. The place needs a complete face lift. Onto the food now, we ordered the steak, prawns and a Chinese dish chicken manchurian. The prawns were ok, they looked big in quantity but it was mainly a lot of shell. The chicken manchurian was average, it didn't look like what it should. Seemed like the cook just emptied a jar of sweet and sour sauce in the chicken. The steak was nice though,good portion and served with a choice if fries and rice, or noodles combination. There are better places to go, the pric are average.

Must say !! Absolutely wonderful food, I was abit reluctant at first as I read the reviews prior to visiting. In all fairness they seemed be short staffed on the day I visited and it was a full house so atmosphere was good service was quicker than I had expected. Must try their peri peri prawns (saucy) and prawn sesame toasties. Shall definitely go back. Prices could be lowered in line with the service you get.

The worst place I dined in. Does not look like a restuarant wiv all the chairs half ripped scruffy. Lights coming off the wall. They just had one waited to serve all customers our good was comin one by one nearly finished one then cmes another. Horrible service. Not to mention very pricey for the food that wasn't even nice. Not goin back.

Went yesterday evening for my Sisters birthday with the family. There was 5 adults and 2 children. We already pre booked a table. Found it okay, however no parking spaces left unfortunately so parked on the road which was fine. The restaurant is located in Victoria Park near the play area. The restaurant was very busy and popular. We sat down and noticed how noisy it was but it was fine as there were many groups like us.Ordered the starters and mains. Prices were more expensive than the usual Leicester restaurants but we do not mind paying high prices for good quality food. Starters were nice, prawns could have been bigger and more prawns for the £10. More sauce then anything. Mains we ordered steak and chicken dishes. Chicken was very small and drowned in gazebo sauce which was nice. Other places are not stingy with the chips, especially when paying a fair bit of money. Service was slow and staff often forgetting things we ordered, or drinks or clearing the table and even water. Which was a shame.Not sure I would go again or recommend, better places in Leicester with just as tasty food.

This is the epitomy of Leicester Indian restaurants..... a passing interest in what YOU want as a customer. There is unfortunately little desire to impress the customer. A smile and offer of complimentary tea for example goes a long way when you have just spent 200 quid. Got neither needless to say. I would not return as did not feel my business was valued. The food here was nice and service miles better than Kebabish on uppingham Road but the place still has some way to go before it is restored to its former glory and can have something to boast about. Will also add that the soft drinks are over priced especially when you are handing out cans. Aside from these minor gripes, the food was really good. We ordered a mix grill, prawn curry, pepper steak and tried a couple of mocktails. Good food. Service needs polishing up without doubt. Good luck to the DC boys who run this establishment but as I said I would not return to dine again in a hurry.

Great well cooked food. The steaks and mixed grill were cooked to perfection. Great portions and plentiful of meat unlike some restaurants. Service was questionable as had to ask the waiters numerous times for the same item. Felt like they were constantly rushed, even though there are plenty of staff in the restaurant. Place is done upto a standard of a diner, which works well with its food. Great location, within Victoria
