Deli & Icecream in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

It says kids eat ALL day EVERYDAY for £1 yet they said they cant, food took so long i could of done a full food shop before it was even ready, price was ridiculous for some cheap awful food. Drinks cost more then a mortgage. Have to pay 15p per sauce sachet, women serving was ridiculously rude! All the breakfasts had on them wasn't even enough to feed a small child letting known full grown adults! Disgusting food, disgusting prices, disgusting staff, disgusting wait time! Avoid the cafe and stick to morrisons, Tesco, niles bakery for breakfast! We used to love the cafe a long time ago, now I know name and my family will never use it again.

After a very long wait in the queue(12 mins) I polietly asked if the Frappe on the menu board was available to which the assistant snapped you will have to wait! At least she didn't say no like she had to the previous customer who asked for an iced mocha. While waiting in the queue I noticed that any food that needed to be heated - either sweet or savoury were done on the same ( not very clean looking) baking try. Its been several years since I was in catering but surely this is bad hygiene practice.

Before I write this I just want to say that I never complain in restaurants, and have never written a bad review. But my meal was bad. And the service poor. I ordered nachos for £8 and what I received was a bowl of classic Doritos with shop bought sauce, and not very nice cheese. I politely asked to have something else, even just chips, instead as I could not eat it and felt very disappointed with what it was. I was not expecting the response. The man at the desk (assuming he is the owner) told me nobody had complained before so I could not have anything else unless I paid for it. He argued with me and made me feel very small, and treated me terribly. So terribly I began to cry for the first time ever in a restaurant because of his terrible customer service. He did not seem to care that he had upset me, and talked to me in a rude manner. I do not recommend, and would advise to avoid. Rude service, as I left upset I could hear him moan about me to another member of staff. Anywhere else would have refunded us, but not here.
