We went for breakfast after reading good reviews and were very disappointed. We ordered hot drinks and scrambled eggs on toast. One teaspoon and cup were dirty. The eggs were tasteless and the bread was “supermarket sliced”. NOT recommended.

We just love visiting Deli de Luca ,the cakes are delicious and there homemade lasagne is the best we have had, prices are so reasonable,the staff make you feel so welcome and take the time to always ask how we are, its our favourite place and always look forward to going there.

Out riding on the motorbike and looking for a watering hole, we (two of us) stumbled across Deli di Luca. Had a bog standard americano and a latté and chose a fresh raspberry and white choc muffin + a San Pellegrino. Came to £11.80 which was a very fair price and the quality of the drinks and eats was great. What I liked, though, was the attention we received from every single member of staff. Engaging, helpful, cheerful, quick and efficient. Never left meandering about and we even got a cheery "safe riding" as we departed. We'll be back when next in the 'hood. Very good. Thank you!

This is a super place to lunch/ have a coffee, etc. It’s relaxing, the staff are friendly and helpful, the coffee is excellent and the food is very good. We were unhurried, unfussed and we spent a very pleasant time here. We’ll return.

I popped in here to take a slice of their carrot home. The ladies behind the counter were very friendly and it seemed to be a popular destination. Once at home I tried it and it was really nice. Hopefully next time I can eat inside and try some of their other menu items.

Came up from Portsmouth to visit my Dad and we popped in to Deli Di Luca for some lunch. The sun was shining so we sat outside Ordered a panini and sandwich between us which were both spot on and v.fresh. Dad and I agreed the flat white was probably the best we'd had, and we love our coffee. Staff were really welcoming, can't wait to come back 👌

I have eaten here many times throughout the year and each time the food has been lovely and the welcome from Andrew and his Team has been great. I would definitely recommend visiting DDL 😄 if you are in Westerham.

Wow what can i say, the staff are absolutely brilliant and both food/service are spot on, nothing is a problem to them with your dietary requirements and we found out on our visit And i must say that Caroline does the best eggs every. Definitely recommend.

We ate breakfast at about 10 am mid week, it was not overly busy. Seating is available both inside and out. The interior is clean and nicely presented, disabled access may be difficult however as the inside is narrow and the toilet facilities are down a steep step. There are limited pay to park spaces nearby. The service was friendly, quick and efficient. We cannot fault the food or the coffee, both were delicious. No issues what so ever with this cafe, we would definitely return

Easter Bank Holiday visit. No prawn jacket potato available, but despite I was told it could be made for me, and it was. Generous salad with panini sandwich and lasagne. Nothing too much trouble.

Cake tasty but dry. Surroundings beginning to look rather jaded and tired. Loo needs updating badly. Prime position in Westerham so need to up their game especially as so many cafes/restaurants are closing down.

Stopped here during our walk from Oxted to Westerham. Located in the centre of Westerham this cafe offers a good selection of cakes including at least one gluten free one They were delicious and the coffee also very good. Very COVID compliant they had seating inside and outside. Will definitely return

We stopped for tea and cake on a sunny afternoon and sat outside in the sunshine. The service was good, the tea and cake good, so in all a pleasant experience.

Have visited this recently discovered place twice now including today. The menu is simple but the food is excellent in terms of both quality and value for money. The coffee is also the best I have tasted and so coupled with fast, friendly service this place is a joy to visit! Highly recommended!

Excellent authentic real Italian coffee just like in Italy - not bitter like most of the chains. Cakes are home-made and delicious. Victoria Sponge cake is a must! Will be back when in the area. Grazie!

We go there nearly every week. Quick service, healthy food, nice hot chocolate, good prices and chairs out the front if you take your dog.

My partner and I come to Deli Di Luca practically every Sunday and we love it. Kind and welcoming staff, lovely, home cooked food and nice, relaxing premises.

Four of us had a lovely lunch at Deli di Luca last Sunday (17th November). Service was friendly, especially from the manager, and the sandwiches were fresh, generously filled and very reasonably priced. My mum had the homemade vegetable soup, which she said was delicious. The only negative was the regular crashing of plates and crockery behind the counter, which was right next to our table. There was no need for it to be so loud, and there didn’t appear much consideration for how it could affect the enjoyment of our lunch. Hopefully this serves as constructive feedback and it’ll be a little quieter the next time we visit.

Go there very often as I enjoy the choose of cakes and staff very friendly. Always neat, tidy and clean. Everything looks tasty and home cooked.

Deli di Luca is my favourite place for coffee and food. Today I had chili con carne on a jacket potato, with a delicious salad. Absolutely scrumptious. Thank you to the lovely lady who prepared my food, I asked her to add grated carrot and sweetcorn to my salad, and my food was exactly as I like it. Like Andrew and all his staff, she was friendly, helpful, and efficient.To the reviewer who, after ordering sandwiches, stated the food was bland, please note that Deli di Luca (and any other eatery) can only put in your sandwiches the filling/s you ask for! I’ve always loved Deli Di Luca and on several occasions it’s been a great experience. However, my partner and I went in there the other day (a busy day) as we were after a few sandwiches to take away. The lady making the sandwiches was incredibly rude and we got three bland sandwiches with no salad or even any butter on one of them. They had a dry piece of ham and a dry piece of cheese between two slices of bland bread. I really hope that they can turn around the service and sandwich making back to how it used to be as this could be a great little place. The owner I believe (a man) was lovely and always is so perhaps he needs to just spend some time quality checking things..... I doubt he’d spend the time and money going to a cafe to receive what we did.

We often visit this cafe when in Westerham especially around coffee time; always excellent coffee and good selection of cakes. Staff are friendly and accomodating especially helpful with young children wanting something not on the menu although it can be a bit noisy when the dishwasher is being emptied.

Superb establishment owned and operated by the most friendly and welcoming man with a great team. Everything is always fresh and nicely thought out. The cakes are outstanding and so fresh you can’t resist. Personally I wouldn’t go anywhere else in Westerham for coffee and a nice little something to eat and, of course, the warm welcome. I just spotted a recent reviewer moaning about this and that, they would obviously be happier down the road eating long life plastic sandwiches at a faceless branded outlet, which I suggest they do, and take their negative vibes with them. A general thought for anyone that reads this is, support your local independent businesses whatever they are as they are the heart of the community. Well done to all the hard workers and keep grinding that excellent coffee.

Unfortunately this place needs a revamp to get up to date with its London competitors and it’s in desperate need of a really good clean! The food on offer, especially the sandwich fillings must be covered with cling film! They were dried up, exposed to all, with a coating on the top, looking dried out and old. The place was scruffy with an overflowing bin, a floor that needed a good sweep, a view down some concrete stairs of about 4 black bags of rubbish and a scruffy entrance area to the toilets. The till area was overflowing with paper and pens and general chaos including a dirty tissue. The tables had crumbs on them and the one we sat at had a wobbly leg that made the tea spill. The cakes are over priced especially as the cream filling is synthetic in the Victoria sponge. it’s dated and tired and disappointing. Costa, although a chain is a far better option in this sleepy village.

This place always seems busy and they have a very good menu and reasonable prices. Nice seating outside as well.

I can't believe I've been to Westerham dozens and dozens of times and have only just tried Deli Di Luca! Their food, especially their cakes, and coffee are absolutely some of the most delicious I've tasted. Everything is fresh and most, if not everything, is homemade.

I have been there many times with friends and we always were made very welcome. The owner and staff are very friendly and it is always a pleasure to go there.

We have eaten in the Deli di Luca a number of times always with friends, the staff are fantastic always greet you with a smile and make you most welcome. From sandwiches jacket potatoes or cooked snacks the food is always fresh & well cooked.

Being local, Deli di Luca forms a convenient regular "pit-stop" for me after walking up Vicarage Hill into the centre of Westerham.

I went in there for a Sandwich which was really good at 4.50 ,Before a visit to Quebec House ,The cafe is worth a visit if your Peckish .They also do Teas, & soft drinks .

This is a lovely coffee shop. The owner and the staff are very friendly and always very welcoming. Their breakfasts are delicious as are their sandwiches and cakes. Perfectly located in the heart of Westerham, it is a great place for a coffee and a bite to eat. The staff are attentive and very friendly, I would highly recommend a visit if you are passing through.

Visited earlier this month. Not been before, but was visiting with my disabled mother and we had just managed to grab the last disabled bay nearby. Enjoyed a lovely smoothie followed by a vegetarian lasagne and salad. Great food, great service.

Stopped for a coffee, dirty glasses on the tables. Coffee served promptly and nice flavour but would have been nice to have had the table wiped clean. I noticed the same ‘service’ level for another couple. There was a delivery being made but is it fair to focus on this and for customers to put up with dirty tables? It wasn’t busy. Other cleaner coffee shops nearby so plenty of choice.

Very nice place. We sat outside with umbrellas as it was a hot day. The coffee was excellent and I could see breakfasts being served that looked delightful. Most helpful and friendly staff.

There is something about it i love. I suppose it is the old fashioned authenticity. I am a home worker and occasionally to visit and have a break for soup, tea and one of their marvellous fresh sandwiches gives pleasure. I have nothing against the modern equivalents but they are not a patch on the freshness and quality of Luca. It is a neat little operation where the staff work hard to give good but not intrusive service. For many years i used to pass it by perhaps partly due to its old fashioned look - but once tried i have turned into a fan.

Only just 400 metres away from home, Deli di Luca is a great "pit-stop" after walking up Vicarage Hill (gets steeper every day) for a decent coffee and a read of the FREE newspapers kindly provided by Andrew. Dogs and cyclists welcomed - dogs get water bowls provided for free, cyclists have to order

I visited here recently for lunch with a girlfriend. Having been here once before I was looking forward to the experience. I ordered a jacket potato with coronation chicken. The chicken was delicious but the potato clearly cooked a long time before and reheated so really not the best - such a shame.

Stopped here for a late brunch while driving to Sevenoaks. Really great place! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and the window tables offer great views of the bustling and pretty street outside. Coffee is good as are the pastries. Scrambled eggs also get a thumbs-up!

We really like visiting the village of Westerham in Kent and there are numerous and excellent local cafes, pubs and restaurants. If we're in the mood for a breakfast or brunch we would normally pop in to Cafe di Luca but last Friday arrived a tad later and took a punt on the home made chicken laksa.

Charming friendly people. Good food and good service. They get to know all of their customers well and always appear wry happy.

We went here for a trip out on a Wednesday. Had planned to visit Westerham for a drive out, and have a coffee. Ended up having a spot of lunch as well. We both chose a panini. My wife had a goats cheese one and I had one with avocado and mozzarella. Really nice, and made a change not to have one that wasn't squashed flat, but was beautifully crunchy with good quality ingredients. We have been here before, and despite there being alternative eateries we will usually choose here as we are assured of good service and excellent quality. Vegetarian friendly

We had an hour or two in Westerham. After looking at the possibility of quite a few cafes we chose this one as there were several cyclists sitting outside, and the place looked 'buzzing'. There was a large-ish group of people in a window seat who were sitting in a window seat, and looked as if they might meet there regularly. The furniture is 'shabby chic' style. We chose coffee and home-made rhubarb and ginger cake which was delicious. Will certainly go again when we are in Westerham

Friendly service but a bit slow to start with. Nice enough food although the lasagne was just ok, bit dry and small portion. The salad was nice. The cake was delicious. The price was a bit on the high side for a quick cafe lunch.

I recently visited this deli with a girlfriend. There are tables situated outside as well as in but it is very popular with the locals so it is best to get there early or reserve a table if you want to sit in a specific spot.

Had lunch here and thoroughly liked it. Sandwiches were very fresh, expertly prepared, with interesting seasonings and flavors (Coronation chicken, something I had not tried before). Service was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Seating is available outside, though the view does not quite take in the pretty village green.

Really lovely coffee and canolli on first trip here. The mains, one lasagna and a chilli were outstanding and also reasonably priced. Hard to beat in this area for good food!

This is the best meeting place in Westerham! It's buzzing some days with people who stop for coffee, bump into friends there, chat over a slice of home made cake (I can recommend all Andreas' cakes having worked my way through them over the years), hold their meetings there, catch up on their emails and so on. It's a hub of activity. The coffee is what you'd expect from an Italian owned coffee shop but if that's not your thing, there are mint and other teas, juices, shakes. Food is for those on the go, avocado, tomato and mozzarella baguettes, soup and French bread, quiche and salad, scrambled egg, salmon on toast, jacket potatoes - that sort of thing.

Love this place. Friendly staff, delicious food, good prices. Meet a friend here about six times a year as it's half way for both of us. Really look forward to our visits

Everytime I'm in Westerham (a few times a year) i always pop in here, The service is always lovely and friendly. The cakes are amazing and so is the coffee. Had many a nice sandwich too.Always very clean and most of all its always packed which is a good sign its decent.

Situated in the centre of small pretty town of Westerham this is a great place to eat and drink. Sat outside on bank holiday and enjoyed watching the world go by. Visited here with a group of friends for afternoon tea/coffee/cake. We were greeted warmly by Andrew and served promptly by his excellent staff. An assortment of teas available here together with some excellent cakes including gluten free ones. My husband and I visit for breakfast usually once a week and are always met with pleasant and prompt service and a heartening breakfast. Lunches are good - hot and cold meals available - always a full plate of good food. A gem in Westerham!

Lovely little cafe - better than one in a chain. Always good homemade cakes and coffee. Love the vege lasagna for lunch and coronation chicken sandwiches. In fact, never had a bad snack or treat here!

I used to eat here daily and Andrew and the staff are lovely. The food is always fresh and well presented and their prices are very keen. Lovely cakes, coffee and food, I can recommend the chilli and also cream teas. You can book and it intends to be busy at lunch time but whenever you visit you are always made to feel welcome. Met a friend here for a lunch, was perfect in every way, we had the jacket potatoes, and they were plentiful, the service was prompt, and the staff were very friendly! I had my small dog so couldn't actually go inside, so the girl came outside straight away and asked our order, and even read the cake menu out to us! Will be definitely visiting again soon!

2 years on I love going here so much! always warm friendly welcome, yummy food and deli-cious coffee! Get Caroline to make you a bacon baguette and ask for vinegar on it ..no, really, you must!

Came in for a cappuccino and a slice of lasagna which came to £10.10 service was patronising ("here you go!") and one barista having a fag outside. ugh. Lasagna was good but tiny with a mountain of over dressed salad. Cappuccino was the highlight. I felt it was not worth my money. For retired people from Surrey who don't know any better.

We popped in for a mid afternoon snack and the whole experience was very good, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. It was good to see it busy as well , especially with a Costa set up next door. The food was all freshly prepared and the coffee tasted lovely, with a nice selection of syrups (if you like the fancy latte's like I do).Easily recommend and it wipes the floor of Costa.

I meet friends for breakfast here ~ once a 4-8weeks - which, considering their limitations on kit and kitchen is a really good breakfast! Not a proper fry-up ( but if we wanted that, we come to me!).Andrew and ever on the ball Caroline (not a couple!) are lovely, accommodating, know and remember their customers and their customers' favourites (although best to give your hot milk/cold milk option to Caroline as Andrew may get it wrong- which is never a problem to rectify).I think knowing what your regular customers' usual order is (I am NOT in this category) is probably the best review any hospitality provider could have and Andrew/Caroline fall into this category brilliantly as most customers of their customers are regulars.

Had a very relaxing afternoon tea here with friends on Saturday. We had just visited Westerham for a walk through the beautiful countryside and finished with some lovely cakes and tea. We tried a number of the home made cakes and all voted for the apricot and Almond. Delicious! Relaxed and informal atmosphere and very welcoming.

Used to go a lot nice to sit outside in the summer nice coffee ..wish they would stop lorries going through westerham food is mostly ok cakes are great, but lasagne is microwaved and sloppy Bacon sandwiches are great though Coffee beats costa!
