Delhi Spice Indian Takeaway in East Staffordshire

Amazing food as always! Had friends over and introduced them to the amazing Dehli spice and they were blown away. Food was piping hot, good taste and quality. Only one technical issue was tried to order on the website like we usually do but would only accept Cash, no option for card or paypal like usual to avoid the 3rd party (just eat). But that's only a minor problem :)

I'm always impressed at how good the food is from this restaurant.

have not received order yet. Hope they haven't left it at the wrong address.

As usual an exceptional meal arrived hot. 2 xChicken Balti with potato. There is no doubt in my mind that this is the best takeaway curry I have ever eaten.

Food is generally nice. Ordered the set meal for 2. but they always give us the incorrect items. Asked for pilau - got boiled rice, asked for Pepsi max- got Fanta, no mango chutney included but got 6 mint sauces? This has happened on 2 occasions. Person delivering just said “they must have ran out” but that’s not what we paid for

Delicious! A wonderful selection of curries to choose from, cooked beautifully, and delivered hot. Chips were lovely, fat, crispy and fluffy inside. Had the shreenagar as you can’t get better than an agh in a curry! Really impressed with the service and the quality!

Well, it's safe to say that we won't be ordering from anywhere else again, this was honestly the best Indian takeaway I've had in memory. Huge portions too so that's breakfast and lunch sorted tomorrow, no shame hahaha! Was running slightly late but the LOVELY guy on the phone was very apologetic and kindly added a complimentary bottle of pop to the order which genuinely would have been fine without as he was so kind when we called to ask about delivery times.

We received an update on our order to say it was running late. It was good that we were kept in the loop about what was happening. In fact the food ended up being on time , so all good 😊. The food was delicious and plentiful. We would definitely order from here again.

Ordered at 7:41 an finally arrived, after 3 phone calls at 9:47, over 2hrs since order. Pakora & Bhaji's were cold and stodgy, main meal luke warm. Would not recommend or use again.

Good value for money and good delivery time so hard to give a bad review. Onion bhaji and starters were great but I was disappointed with the garlic rice and the madras. Can’t quite put my finger on it but it just didn’t taste like a madras.

Worse curry I have ever had! Ordered a madras prawn curry and it was watery. Waste of money - definitely wouldn’t order from here again. Very disappointed

Food was amazing as usual. It’s always red hot and I think they should share their secret with the likes of McDonald’s. Used them for years and never ever had a bad meal 🤩

Driver went to the completely wrong road 15 minutes away. Food came and was cool. Chips seemed like they had been in the microwave/not freshly cooked. Popadoms stale. Curry not that nice. Won’t be ordering again

The food was absolutely incredible as always, never had a bad order from here! The curries were all utterly divine and piping hot, the naan breads are very well sized and so soft, the onion bhaji’s were some of the best I’ve had beyond incredible overall very filling and extremely delicious! Unusually we had to wait 2 hours for our order which was annoying but the lovely woman over the phone was very helpful and especially polite, even dealing with my hangry self, sorry!So worth the wait though.

I ordered just after 7pm, my order took 2 hours and 30 minutes approx , to arrive. no compensation offered. by the time it came I wasn't hungry so it was a waste of money

Amazing food and service - delivery was late, but if you are a loyal customer they always thrown in extras as a way of apology. Their base sauce is thick and not watery, and the actual curries are delicious.

Lovely food and hot as always when it arrived however at over 2 hours wait for our takeaway unfortunately this was by far our worst experience yet with Delhi Spice. They’re our go to takeout of choice and are usually spot on however, on this occasion, not up to par on delivery turnaround!

We order from here all the time and the food is normally delicious…. tonight not the case the amount of grease in the curries was unbelievable not nice at all. Sorry for a bad review but this was really below standard really disappointed

although it took a long time from ordering to delivery, the restaurant were honest about delivery time, and were very helpful when we called. The food arrived hot, very generous portions and tasted great.

Food to be fair was exceptional but almost 3 hours for delivery was nothing short of ridiculous. Well over an hour late even with being told it would be with us in 15 minutes then still waited another 1hr+ after that. Not acceptable at all which is such a shame as it ruined a Saturday night dinner given we ate at 10pm when we ordered it before 7pm

Ordered here Saturday night for the first time driver checked to ensure he had the correct address and was polite. Food was excellent hot and portion sizes were good. Will be ordering again and if the quality stays the same this will be my go take out for an Indian. 3 years Later order every saturday the best indian takeout in the area hands down. 4 years later pre order and the food is getting later by the week not happy as this is now becoming the norm. If you read this Delhi spice come on sort it out.

Very disappointed, always use Delhi spice and never had a bad one for over 3 years ever until tonight. Curry was watery was no taste or spice. Ordered a cheese and chilli nann bread, what we received was a plain nann bread with no cheese nor chilli. The chips were not the best either as they were soggy and cold. And the popadoms tasted stale. Delivery time was late. Not happy and very disappointed :(
