Food was delicious and delivered on time.

Good was great however the order was missing a whole food order and was then early, if rather or be on time or even a little late as long as I got the whole order I asked for

Delicious food. Really hot on arrival

You won't be disappointed making this your choice for a fantastic curry we visited on a Saturday evening having booked a table for my birthday. Met at the door by friendly staff who showed us to our table after ordering a round of drinks which were reasonably priced. we ordered the poppadoms and chutneys while we browsed the menus. The dips were delicious and plenty of poppadoms to go round. We opted for onion bhaji starters, which were huge and if I'm honest too much before ordering a main meal. They were fantastic and full of flavour. For mains I opted for the railway station lamb which was beautiful and full of spice the lamb just dropped to bits we ordered sides of chips and pilau the only disappointment was the chips weren't your normal run of the mill chips your normally served but to be fair we hardly touched them because of the portion sizes. We were all completely stuffed afterwards, and couldn't face a dessert so opted for the bill which if you message the lounge on facebook will give you a 20% off code to use so it's a good saving. All in all with 2 rounds of drinks poppadoms starters and mains £30 a person was great value especially with the extra 20% off. A brilliant restaurant would highly recommend will definitely be back to try another fantastic dish from the menu cheers.

Last 2 takeaways have been shocking, food missing and cold gave them benefit of the doubt the first time but not the 3rd won't order from them again.

Just home, amazing dinner. Full of authentic flavour! Great service even with our young children. Will return 10/10!!! Thank you

poppadoms did not get delivered with order, rang Delhi 6, they asked if I wanted them delivered or the money reinburst I said I wanted them delivered however they said it would take 45 minutes so I said OK just reinburse the money but still waiting for the money to be returned to my account. I understand they were very busy anditsonly £4 but itsthe principal

The food wasn’t like usual. The angry bird was very hot (not like usual) and the smoked aubergine wasn’t tasty. I’ve ordered at 20h10. Estimated delivery time was between 21h05 and 21h25. The delivery time was so late at 22h10. Some family members have already slept. Others ate another thing in between… Terrible experience this time.

Meal was hot and nice but onion bahgi weren't nice rubbery and hard

received a plain nan instead of a keema nan, but other than that the food was delicious as usual.

food is fantastic just wish they would get more delivery drivers as have had to come and collect the last 3 or 4 times and on a Saturday night that's not a good thing love your food but quite often if I can't get it delivered I have to find somewhere that will deliver for me even when it's not as good as delhi 6 lounge westoe

Food was a bit disappointing compared to previous orders, the recipes all seem to have changed. Zero spice on the aubergines and the cauliflower was so watery, not sticky and sharp like it usually is.

Kindly upgrade your skill to treat a customer, I arrived and the restaurant was empty, only a couple was there. The staff was rude and carefree, with no one even coming to take order, they only treat white skin people with respect, an Indian stepping in is probably a disgrace to them which is itself an irony to the concept of the restaurant. They took order 15 minutes after reminding them. And another 10 to just serve simple drinks. Kindly improve your behaviour towards guests if not food.

Good quality, comes hot and fast A+

I first tried Delhi 6 a couple of weeks ago and it was absolutely stunning food. Tried again tonight, and not sure if it was a different chef but it wasn't anywhere near as good for one of the starters or the naan. One of my starters, the chicken was tough and a little bitter, but the other starter was beautiful. No issues with the main, so slightly mixed opinion for me today. Delivery lad is always spot on friendly, and quick service.

The food was excellent as always

Ordered online where it stated there would be a discount for take away. However when it came to pay no discount was taken off the bill which resulted in the full price having a to paid which was disappointing. Other than that the food and service was very good.

Usually the food from here is really good. Couple of problems the onion bhaji was rock solid couldn't eat them obviously last night onion bhaji they where definitely not fresh and the poppadoms was soft usually I tell everybody to order from here maybe have to re think this

Authentic Indian cuisine delivered in the very comfortable surroundings of a former gentlemen's club (the Woodside). The restaurant is presented in warm inviting colours in a loose railway style. The food is stunning, fabulous, extremely tasty, and very good value at the price point. Reserving a table is advised.

Sorry to say but chips tasted old and warmed up. Rice was spot on best rice I've ever had! Chicken tikka jalfrezie, chicken was very dry and no flavour or heat to the dish. Poppadoms very nice and little salad box a nice touch shame the onion bhaji were undercooked inside and again no flavour. First time I've used this shop maybe an off day for the chef but no where near the quality of the dilshad sorry guys..

First off, great presentation and pachaging. I think it was my fault for picking 'dry' options rather than something to mix with a sauce or curry. Expand the descriptions to know exactly what we get, and we are on a winner here as the meat quality was great. I'll be back to try again.

Zero keema meat in nan bread and bog standard curry.... Not for the first time

Usually the samosa's are good, but this time it looked like someone just whipped them up after accepting the order. Very oily too

One of the fine dines' in South Shields that I suggest you should visit. Excellent hospitality and authentic Indian tasting food. Loved it and looking forward to visiting again.

Wonderful food, attentive service, great atmosphere. We have visited as a couple and as a family and can't fault it in any way. You need to give this restaurant a try.

Tasty food better than the usual Ocean Road curry houses (where most of the food tastes the same). expensive though even with the Just Eat discount.

My first experience here wont be the last Prefect delivery time requested 10:30 and was there right on time very friendly driver. And the food was piping hot prawn starter is to die for everything was perfect think this will be my new regular curry spot.

Great food great service always on time

Fantastic flavours , perfectly balanced and seasoned. Food was delivered piping hot and the portion sizes were very generous.

Unfortunately my curry was out of the tray and all over the bag so I only managed a few spoonfuls but what I did manage was tasty. Would be nice if you got a bit side salad and sauce like other restaurants.
