There are Cafes and there are great cafes.This one without doubt falls into the latter category.My wife and I new of it’s existence for some time but had not yet visited. Then came the day when we were out for a walk and it came on to rain and we took shelter in this nearby cafe.It was nearly teatime anyway so we indulged our selves in a nice pot of tea and some really nice scones baked on the premises. We both agreed that coupled with good service that this was one of the best cafes we had been to.Highly recommended.

Lovely cafe to enjoy a cuppa and ice cream after a long bike ride. Area inside and outside available. Staff super friendly scottish lady :)

Despite the fact we experienced three seasons in one day, Val opened her doors and put the coffee machine on and made us feel really welcome! The scones were to die for, thanks Val, we will see you soon. Iain

Came in multiple times over a couple days for food and drinks for served by donna and Joe. Service was brilliant and food was top notch and the Guinness even better very very good pub with friendly atmosphere would highly recommend to anyone travelling solo or as a group as people are very welcoming

28 The OrchardsI ordered milkshakes and noticed that the person who made them poured the leftover milkshak down the sink, which felt like such a waste!! I would have been happy to take it instead of wasting it. Lets aim to reduce food waste when food poverty exists around us. Also, carrying a tray of milkshakes and coffees outside through a locked door is nearly impossible. It would be great if the staff could be a little more helpful and compassionate.

Snowdrop LaneReally lovely pub, friendly and more importantly, dog friendly. (Even gave my dog a bone) chicken, ham and leek pie was the business too! Can’t fault the place and I’ll definitely be going back.
