Debenhams Restaurant, Fishergate Centre in Preston

Visited while shopping on Sunday for a cup of tea & a scone. It was mid afternoon and very quiet with only 3 tables occupies. There was one person serving behind the counter who was wiping surfaces. She told me she would be with me in a minute, and proceeded to finish off, then serve me without washing her hands which was a bit off putting. The table I sat at was grubby and I had to wipe it myself. There was a cold chip and crumbs under the table. The scone was very good as was the tea but I d to enjoy it as the environment was poor.

For the 1st time this week I bought a Wowcher Voucher. Opted for a scone and tea for 2 and paid just £2.99. Thought it was too good to be true but NO. The scones were delicious and had a choice of cranberry and Orange, mixed berry, plain or fruit. I had a plain one and mum had a fruit one...one word...wonderful!! Excellent big mug of tea aswell. Looking forward to our next visit already!!

Popped in for a breakfast to start of our shopping day and will definitely be back! GreAted by lots of happy faces all willing to help, who served me quick and with a smile. Breakfast was delicious; Dippy eggs, perfect bacon, tasty sausage and you even got a free peace of toast! Grabbed a coffee too and they asked if I wanted chocolate, unlike some places who just cake it on! Generally just a lovely atmosphere in there and good value for money.

waited 2 minutes to be served.One staff member at side of me.Young and sullen look on her face. Waited 17 minutes for food.Fish OK but chips were far to fatty.Real chips but tasted very greasy.Ate the food due to hungry after traipsing around Preston for hours but will not go again.£21.00 for fish and chips twice and two small Latte's.Not worth the money.

Called in for lunch today, not a great menu choice but what they did have was good quality and served quickly by very pleasant and helpful staff. Full marks to the catering staff at Debenhams Preston! 👍

A simple restaurant made special by the staff especially Jullietta (spelling?), a little ray of sunshine this autumn pointing out special offers which we had missed on the way in. A real bonus to the establishment. Well done..

Visited for afternoon tea, had pot of tea for 2, and a St Clements cake and a cheesecake, tea was perfect, cake was as nice as always, best time to go I think between 2 and 4

The restaurant is clean and staff are friendly, but I really think you don’t get your moneys worth with the food. I emailed Debenhams about this as the order 8 placed came with a salad, the salad consisted of lettuce leaves and 1 cherry tomato. There reply was they do the best they can!!!

Had a couple of teas with extra hot water, a cake each, one was a lemon sponge with what I think was lemon curd inside, very nice! Great value and very good service

I felt so sorry for the staff that worked this day. It was an extremely busy Saturday afternoon and there was CLEARLY not enough staff on. All staff where so polite but you could see it was a struggle. Ran out of knives and forks. Some where extremely soiled. Ran out of cups. Running in and out of the kitchen to get other bits. The young lad on the till was getting it all but he kept smiling. The queue was ok but it still took 15-20mins for me to get to one side of the counter to the other. Probably will Not return.

Have used this Debenhams restaraunt regularly but no more. Prior to this visit i paid over £8 for a lunch in December and found the meal brought out to be luke warm and cold vegetables. Being so busy in restaraunt put it down to a one off. Deciding to return and order breakfast as we had enjoyed it in the past. Half a hour we waited when it was quiet inside. Reason we were told was the porridge is freshly made ? IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO OUR TABLE AROUND TEN MINUTES LATER IN THE PAST. But the sausage egg and bacon that was also put down was burnt brown rock hard as if that had been left under the heat lamps for the duration of our wait. It was promptly sent back. The second and replacement breakfast cooked breakfast was brought out with the egg upside down on the toast. Turned over it to resembled a frisbee or joke egg bacon dried up. This was no laughing matter. My companion was distraught having traveled since 6-30 am for our meeting The fact that customer service and food presentation is so bad the management clearly have to be more involved. We were given a refund on the breakfast and two pots of tea free because of the wait. But i add which person in the kitchen or staff serving on the floor feels it’s acceptable to put down in front of the customer such awful over cooked dried up food.

The lady with dark brown hair serving the food was very rude and told me to book my lunch early when there was no need to. I asked for a lasagne for my lunch and there was hardly any vegetables on the dish. The lasagne was very salty and tasted awful. I wouldn't recommend going to this place again.

This was once ok food but now very disappointing. There's many more places in town that are better quality and price.

Visited a bit late for lunch but had portion of chips, which were cooked fresh as the chips on the counter didn’t look their best, a member of staff took them away and got me fresh chips without me asking, good customer service. Also had tea and cake. Must say some of my favourites no longer on sale I.e. chocolate eclairs and lemon tea cake. Otherwise ok

Eat here regularly. It can be hit and miss. The breakfasts are usually good but the pricing can be very varied depending on the staff on the till. I had tomato soup and a cold drink this time. Soup was lovely. Fresh and hot and the bread roll was very fresh. Debenhams gold card holders get 20% Off. Lots of seating well spaced out and many comfortable chairs. Always clean.

Went for breakfast as I like it here But staff seemed to want to talk to there friends rather than serve me

I had never eaten in Debenham’s before yesterday and I was very pleasantly surprised.

Poor selection unappetising lukewarm food. If you want warm food its not place to go. Lack of staff so have to wait but those there are were pleasant. Food dried up kept warm rubbish. How doo they get away with serving such food.

Our order of hot food took over 40 mins,The young girl who served us said they were waiting on chips to cook!The Cutlery was dirty and most of the tables were full of dirty pots, when the meal finally came the meal of sausage&chips; with a pot of gravy was Luke warm,it was inedible,i cant even describe what the "freshly cooked chips" tasted like,even my hubby who eats everything and anything refused to eat it,we complained to blank faces of the staff and left.

just called in for a coffee while shopping the staff are very nice and polite talking to the customers which is lovely the young lady behind the food counter was exceptional so very helpful to the customers taking food out they were not very busy when we called in but never the less the young assistant took food out and a lot of places don't do this the tables were being cleared all the time which is also good well done to the team workers we will call again

Decided to go for a cuppa and cakes, had pots of tea and a cherry bake well and lemon and strawberry sponge cake, very nice cake and tea .

Visited for a break decided to have a lunch, had chicken and roasties and veg.

Popped into Debenhams for a quick cuppa and sit down. It was about 3 pm so was nice and quiet but obviously a lot of food had already been sold. This was not an issue for me as I only wanted a cake and chose a delicious Apple Meringue Pie although I did have to ask what it was because there were no names by any of the cakes. Whilst I was paying the server behind the counter was telling the lady next to me that he could rustle up a portion of chips for her if she wished as there was no hot food left, so I thought this was nice of him. She commented that she liked him serving as he was always so helpful and kind to her. I agree that the staff behind the counter are always really helpful every time I visit here which is a credit to the store.

Nothing looked identifiable in terms of dishes. Food lukewarm and unappetising. Tried 2 other Debenhams cafes recently and said not again as finding them very poor. Fish looked like something curled up and dried. No fresh looking vegetable and chips looked grotty. .

Awful experience, visited the restaurant at about 1:30pm to find that all the food was pretty much gone, the cutlery and glasses were disgustingly dirty. The tables were messy and looked like they hadn't been cleaned for hours. Had to wait 20 minutes for my food as they had to cook it but waited so long I asked for a refund and left. Overall terrible experience and I am not going back there anytime soon!

Called in for afternoon tea, very little selection in the cakes, mainly Christmasy types, no normal variety of cakes they used to stock, very disappointed, Tea was very nice though. Restaurant was unusually quiet for the time of day.

Visited here at 3 pm on a Saturday. No sandwiches/wraps available - shelves empty. Very few cakes/biscuits. So walked out. And went elsewhere. Pathetic really, for a place of Debenham's "status".

Love going here whilst doing some retail therapy. Win win all round with good selection of freshly prepared food and drinks with great value for money.

Called in for afternoon tea, service was excellent. Lemon earl grey cake very nice with free cup of tea. Was excellent value would recommend. For 2 teas with hot water and cakes came to £5.75

Tuve un sándwich en el restaurante, que estaba bien, pero lo que más me impresionó fue el personal muy amable, todos ellos le sonreía a los clientes y parecían muy contentos de servir a la gente. Así que hay muchas tiendas de servicio no parecen darse cuenta de la repercusión que tiene en un pobre servicio al cliente, pero la experiencia de Debenhams obviamente concentrarse en reclutar personal bueno.

Cambió la gama de Debenhams bocadillos - y ahora hay una muy mala selección. El sistema de colas no es ideal, ya que si sólo quieres una bebida y un aperitivo, tienes que hacer cola detrás de esas esperando comidas calientes o pedir a aquellos en la cola si puede saltar a la sección de bebidas. Solía disfrutar de un café y un pedacito de la tarta, pero aquí, gracias a los cambios, prefiero ir a otro sitio.

Lo que ha sucedido! ! . Desayuno debenhams solía ser una buena relación, han cambiado la manera en que orden. La comida es lento. Sin sabor, el tocino era un pedazo de grasa. El personal parecía sucia. Nada es abastecido. Vasos de plástico que están rayados y sucios, no cubiertos. El desayuno no es más de autoservicio. ¿Por qué han cambiado de una formula ganadora. No regresaré. Cómo destruir un concepto exitoso. Bien hecho, debenhams!

Disfrutamos de un café y un pastel. El pastel era humedo el café estaba caliente y sabrosa. Bueno para bebés, ya que tienen un microondas y una jarra para botellas de calefacción. El cambio bebé es buena y limpia además de en uno de ellos tienen un tamaño y un inodoro inodoro adulto, muy práctico. Nos visita de nuevo, el personal es educado y amable

Principalmente que intenta ser constructivo con cualquier comentarios que post, hoy en el restaurante en el centro de debenhams cae como Fishergate un bajo! Todos mi esposa, mi hija y yo quería era un desayuno rápido y sin embargo esperamos brew, 15 minutos en una cola larga y en conjunto no parecía desorientado en el caos y organización en ninguno detrás del mostrador. Los desayunos se estaban amontonando esperando parte componente de una comida que otros clientes había pedido. Un patrón detrás de nosotros pronto marca la confusión y a la izquierda rápidamente en cojines y edredones distantes, posiblemente misty nunca volver. Finalmente parecía que estábamos esperando la próxima posible a los clientes actividad ninguna. Finalmente, un miembro del personal tenía bemusedly, pedí cortésmente cuánto tardaría a nuestras comidas se sirven, el chef nos miraba perplejo respondiendo 'oh al menos otros diez minutos si tienes suerte. Me miró el tiempo y nos dimos cuenta de que nos habían quedado fuera de tiempo. El miembro del personal no podía preocuparse menos y comenzó de inmediato a mirar en la distancia a los miles de patio. Todo el espectáculo, Incompetant todos que aconsejaría es por favor ir a Brucciana siguiendo la carretera, que siempre está lleno, pero al menos es preparada para el cliente ocasional! Chocante! Quería calificar como tripadvisor cero pero no me dejaron!

On top floor of store. Usual fare; some of the two-seat tables (us) were very crammed in. Pleasant service.

My mother and I went to Preston in the summer and needed a sit down. So we had hot chocolate at this place. Very refreshing and tasty. With helpful staff too.

Citied con mi hija después de pasar tiempo con el personal shopper, como parte de un v.i.p. Tarjeta de regalo. Incluye una bebida y tratar. Tenía un pedazo de esponja de victoria, que era el peor de esponja que haya probado victoria y he comido muchos. Estaba cruda, pero seca y completamente incomible. El restaurante es limpio y bien ubicado. El personal es amable y servicial, pero no compensa la comida horrible y altos precios. mi hija tenía tarta de limón, que estaba bien, pero es caro.

Debenhams en Preston es una bonita tienda! Creo que la mayoría de las personas que utilizan el café en esta tienda, no así para un aperitivo. No muchos en realidad definen a permitió '- esperando arriba del grub gama. Queso sobre tostadas, pan tostado, y quizás un tanto a bun pegajosa, son normalmente la orden de comida, además de, por supuesto, una bebida caliente. Teníamos tanto a tostado y té, para después de todo, este es un café no es un restaurante.

Después de visitar la tienda con mi esposa y gastarte mucho dinero me sentí necesidad de sustento y en débil, así que nos sugirió que el almuerzo en el restaurante de la tienda. Era tarde y el menú de 1-15 parecía bueno con el Pavo asado abundante la factura. Lo siento nos dijeron no hay asados dirigido fuera de Turquía, que luego intentamos por cualquier otra caliente, baguettes lo sentimos, no hay comida caliente. No ser demasiado exigente para patatas chaqueta probamos con atún atún, sólo lo suficiente para media uno dijo nuestro servidor, puede haber relleno de queso. Le agradeció sus esfuerzos, pero dejaron sin comer. Cómo es que para restaurante eficiente una importante cadena de tienda no poder cumplir su menú de almuerzo publicado en 1.15 pm

Good facilities, plenty of space but food was cold (luke warm at best) and some customers were being offered 30% off but no explanation to everyone else! Shame.

respite from rushing shoppers. enjoyed a refreshing pot of tea. A chance to rest and escape the manic Christmas shoppers.

We were doing some christmas shopping and went for a cuppa and a mince pie in debenhams. The service was brilliant, the staff were so friendly.

Near enough to train station to make a fairly quick stop for food/drinks and a pleasant dining room it is too with excellent clean toilets a bonus. does a job well.

Comimos aquí. Había una gran variedad de platos calientes, ensaladas y bocadillos fríos; todo a precios razonables. A diferencia de muchos restaurantes de grandes almacenes, no había suficiente espacio entre las mesas para que pudiéramos hablar cómodamente y no tuve problemas negociando mi moto de movilidad.
