Desayunamos aquí, la comida era buena, no grasosa, buena selección de artículos para El servicio fue bueno y el personal muy agradable El lugar estaba muy limpio y las mesas despejadas y limpiadas muy rápidamente Buen acceso para discapacitados con baños cerca.

Popped in here whilst checking the sale rails in store. We ordered a soup and roll which was very tasty (tomato and basil) Must say one bowl was fuller than the other. They ought to use the same measure for all.

Visité este café un par de veces cuando estaba en Barrow, generalmente solo por un plato de sopa o un café. Esta vez, la señora que servía fue muy acosada, se movió a toda velocidad y le dijo a otra chica "solo podemos hacer lo que podemos hacer, no es nuestra culpa que tengamos poco personal". La sopa se puso en el tazón tan apresuradamente que un tazón estaba lleno y uno tenía mucho menos. Le pedimos al muchacho de la caja registradora que lo llenara ya que no estábamos pagando la mitad de la porción, lo hizo sin dudarlo. La primera regla del servicio al cliente es no informar a sus clientes sobre ningún problema y comportarse de manera profesional en todo momento. Éramos las únicas personas paradas allí, ¡así que no es como si la cola estuviera fuera de la tienda! En el lado positivo, la sopa estaba caliente y sabrosa. Por lo general, hay dos opciones de sabor, pero no en esta ocasión. Visitamos este café hace un par de meses y tenían una fuga en el techo. Tenían un tazón en el mostrador de comida atrapando las gotas. Pensé que esto no era aceptable y seguramente violó las regulaciones de higiene de los alimentos. ? ?

Visita decepcionante. En primer lugar ordenó sopa de calabaza, era de consistencia muy delgada y sin sabor. Tomé esto de vuelta y lo intercambié por un sándwich de huevo + mayonesa, el pan era menos que fresco + relleno como la comida.

Amazing food took our grandchildren for lunch and managed to please them all! Which is a feat in itself great value for money and friendly knowledgeable staff👍

Very convenient when you are shopping to be able to go to restaurant for either a quick snack or a full meal or big breakfast.

Stopped here to chill out in the middle of a shopping trip. Food and drinks always good. They have afternoon tea offers after 2pm.

Popped in for a coffee and a cake. Coffee lukewarm, cake a bit nondescript and not much choice. Staff lovely and run off their feet, they seem severely understaffed which is maybe why the whole place was absolutely filthy. Tables not cleared, tables dirty and floor strewn with food. Won’t be back any time soon.

Te new store has opened in watford its absolutely ace !!! They have everything you could want ! Excellent

Called in for tea and coffee but saw the great breakfast on offer. 4 items plus toast, £4 , 6 items plus toast £5 and 8 items plus toast £6. Everything looked absolutely lovely and so fresh. Several were tucking into their breakfasts. Next visit will be for breakfast. Only downside is that Debenhams do not open until 9.30am Monday-Thursday. 9am Friday and Saturday.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, they were also very helpful. The food is good value and tastes good. I had the roast dinner good sized portions. The only reason I marked 4 stars was because of the frozen veg, it was well cooked but I never have liked it. Otherwise thank you for being so welcoming.

Visited again for afternoon tea. A really good offer is in place after 2pm. Any cake plus regular drink £3.95. The plum and ginger cakes were delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A definite improvement to last time we visited.

I have visited a couple of times recently. The staff have always been friendly and very helpful on my visits to the cafe. I have been very happy with the quality and value for money of the food and drinks I have had. I particularly enjoyed the baked potato with chilli and nachos, and will most likely have that again on a future visit.

I revisited Debenhams cafe last week after a horrible breakfast I had the last time, hoping on the of chance it had improved. thankfully it was absolutely fantastic, was so pleased. breakfast cooked lovely, staff very friendly and helpful. a real turn around from my last visit, was different staff on my return, was a great team that was on serving. hoping for another visit and fingers crossed it's the same staff as this time.

Good cups of tea but very little choice in food. My last visit was mid afternoon and I made the same comment. Mornings hopefully would be better. Staff friendly. They do have a loyalty scheme for drinks, so worth getting a card stamped.

The food here is very good and reasonably priced, the staff work very hard to help you. I will definitely be returning.

this is my second review for Debenhams, it used to be lovely, this time and past few times it not been as great as it once was, had breakfast and the bacon was rock hard, mushrooms were dry, sausage was half rock solid that you couldn't put a fork in and half gunky, it was foul. Will not be eating here again now.ive included a pic as I know some people are very picky wereas I'm quite the opposite, im easily pleased but not this time.

Una tienda de café, pero no práctico en el mejor lugar para comer en Barrow. El café era de buena calidad, pero la comida normalita. No había una gran selección. Puede ser que cuando yo fui estaba a media tarde y los suministros eran bajos.

The place is good for meeting friends and after shopping for good cup of coffee,the staff is friendly and good afternoon tea too.

Ir regularmente para almorzar con 2 miembros de la familia, me encanta el café, especialmente el capuchino, no es el más barato, pero es muy bonito. El personal siempre sonriente y amable. La comida es muy buena, no es un menú enorme pero siempre bien presentado.

Don't go to this restaurant after 1pm as the food by then is left on the heated counter until it is sold and not renewed and it just ends up dried up. They do not cook food for you on request. The tea and coffee staff as really slow although pleasant but your meal is generally cold by the time you receive your drinks, and there is always a long queue.

Really nice staff and plenty of room usually. Just right for coffee and cake after doing your shop in the store.

Exactly what you would expect from a town cafe. Nice and clean, good service and nice food. Never too busy to be annoying.

Great place to rest your legs after good day shopping, go for the coffee and strawberry scones, yum yum.

We find the service a bit hit or missy at times.having to wait a while longer than normal for the simplest of snacks and once drunk our coffee before the meal arrived. OK to call in for a good cup of coffee and sandwich.

Clean, well staffed by nice, helpful and polite people and the food is ok too. I had the Brie and red onion marmalade tart with potatoes and veg (the potatoes turned out to be chips when it arrived but that's ok by me) and whifie type person had macaroni cheese with garlic bread and salad. My veg could have been hotter but it was all very nice and wasn't over cooked. The black coffee was of a good standard too. That lot for sub £18. Maybe a bit pricey but much nicer than a Supermarket cafe.

The staff are very nice and quick to serve. It's easy enough to get a table but that is probably because of their steep prices, there are a lot of coffee shops and places to eat in Barrow but Debenhams does not seem to want to compete with these as their prices seem to go up and up for food that is below par. I have eaten here a couple of times and on each occasion the food has been luke warm or looks like it has been re-heated two or three times as its dried up. On this occasion I decided to play it safe and had coffee and toast, the coffee was fine the toast was stone cold and only toasted on one side. Disappointing.

Visited today, on holiday & our first visit to Barrow. The food was excellent, the ladies serving worked as a well oiled machine, really good teamwork even though they were very busy. Personal touch at the food servery & the till made our visit really enjoyable. Thanks very much.

I went on my dinner break with a friend, I was going to get a jacket potato but the price was nearly £5 and when I saw someone else's, I was put off. It looked under cooked, the beans looked dry and the cheese was just in a pot on the side. So then I thought I'd go for the vegetarian option, as I am vegetarian, which was a vegetable bake, however this was over £6 for something which was about 4 by 4 centimeters! In the end I decided on chips, I was given an absolute tiny portion, there were 11 chips overall, and it costed me £1.85. I will definitely not be going again!

Have been 3 or 4 times, but it has never got any better, the food is ordinary as is the service.As you approach the dining area you can smell greasy food, the ventilation system is very poor and has been since the store opened.

went on a morning and had what looked to be a gorgeous scone with jam and cream. How wrong I was. The scone was dry and plain and it tasted as though it had come out of a packet and not baked on the premises. I definitely wouldn't be going back

Was hoping for a better deal from Debenhams but will not return. You cannot compare this to the cafes in larger cities.Whilst The tea was fine the scone I ate was dry and tasteless. Check the freshness before you buy!

I was shopping in Barrow in Furness with my. 2 grandchildren and we chose to go to Debenham'srestaurant for our lunch. A very helpful member of the staff welcomed us, presented us with a trayand generally made us feel special. We all chose tuna and cheese melts which then went into thekitchen to be warmed and when they were delivered to our table were nicely presented with asmall amount of green salad. The restaurant was clean and tidy, tables being cleared and wipedas soon as customers had left. The cleanliness and food I experienced means I could recommend Debenham's restaurant when needing to eat a light lunch in Barrow in Furness

I went to debenhams cafe earlier this week with my daughter & toddler for lunch whilst shopping. The scampi & chips we both chose was disappointing - 6 tiny pieces of scampi with overdone peas. The chips were OK but there was not enough on the plate. Our toddler loved his meal with yogurt & drink included. He ate every bit leaving us wishing we had got the same child's meal! The cakes & cold food looked nice though.The service was good, we were served by a very smiley nice lady. When we struggled to find a toddler friendly table we were directed to a freshly cleaned table without having to ask. Overall it was kept very clean.In my opinion there were too many tables squashed into a small area. I thought the tables were also too close to the fire doors. No room for pushchairs - there was one parked in front of the fire doors throughout our full stay.Think I will give it a miss next time - there are nicer, cheaper places in Barrow

Debenham's restaurant has some lovely food, including fish and chips, soup and even roasts. The cakes are lovely too and the staff are very friendly.

what a miserable place. Unfriendly staff. Horrible coffee and a cold soggy pastry. Lots of dirty tables with no sign of anyone clearing them. waited a long time to get served. Dont think I'll be going again.

This place is a case of if you dont know its there then you are missing out!!Ifound this place by accident whilst looking for a way to the carpark and must say its one of the best "accidents" I have ever made!The staff are the highlight of my visit as they are all extremely pleasant and courteous who will always go that extra mile to make your visit a nice experience.The food is always good and they offer a vast range of dishes to suit all appetites and dietary needs. Breakfast is a must as unlike most supermarket cafes,here you actually get to select what you want on your plate and it is far from greasy!my favourite has to be the afternoon tea offer which is from 2pm and for £2.99 you have the choice of any of their amazing cakes and tarts etc. with a cuppa tea or latte/cappuccino. A definite must for the thirsty shopper.
