Better Chinese than imagined! I had the beef in black bean sauce, was tasty and generous portions. Will go again definitely!

Confundido en cuanto a si este lugar solo ofrece comida china, tanto pescado y papas fritas como chino, o si ha cambiado de manos recientemente como pedimos a través de Deliveroo, donde figura como De Plaice, señor Bing y no hay forma de saberlo. De todos modos, teníamos pollo agridulce, pollo foo yung, bocados de pollo y arroz frito con pollo. Más galletas de gambas y rollitos de primavera gratis. Todo bien, a un precio razonable. Así que es una recomendación mía.

Vivo cerca de De Plaice y he revisado todas las tomas siempre en esta área, y solo vengo a esta. O tengo bacalao y patatas fritas con salsa de curry o pollo chow mein. La comida siempre se cocina a la perfección y muy sabrosa. Los precios son razonables y nunca tendrás que esperar mucho para llevar tu comida para llevar. ¡Yo recomendaría mucho este lugar!

Nunca he tenido comida de aquí antes, pero el bacalao y las patatas fritas para llevar que hemos tenido allí dos veces han sido encantadores. Probé el menú chino para llevar anoche y estaba delicioso. Tuve langostinos chow mein y no solo obtuve una porción de buen tamaño, sino también langostinos de tamaño king cocidos perfectamente. Mi compañero tenía el Sr. Bing chow mein y curry de langostinos, que dijo que era uno de los mejores que ha tenido. Muy educado y amable patrón.

Una vez fue el mejor chippy en Bournemouth y se fue cuesta abajo durante varios años. Nelly envejeció y le resultó difícil ejecutarlo a la norma que debería ser. Se ha hecho cargo ahora y estoy muy feliz de decir que ha vuelto a su mejor momento. Muy bueno de verdad.

I like their chips .But why their door was locked at opening time?! Maybe she forgot to unlock it, but she is one nice Chinese lady.I love her accent!

Unfortunately after waiting 10 minutes for our fish to be cooked, we got back to our room and found the batter wasn’t cooked properly and was soggy. Friendly owner but poor food.

Thank you to Nelly and Bob at De Plaice for not only serving me up a lovely takeaway of fish and chips but for all your help to find me a nice room after getting stranded in Bornemouth. You were so helpful and i,ll always remember you if i return to Bournemouth in the future. As for a review on your food, well the fish and chips definately filled my empty belly and the curry sauce was blooming lovely. Nice, hot, crispy cod with some perfectly cooked chips what more can you ask for?

it was right near our hotel which made it convenient. Scamp tasted amazing and the chips were nice. Owner very friendly too

Firstly had to refuse the gravy as it looked a year old an off. She got our order wrong an when I questioned the price she refused point blank to give us the receipt so we could check. So we were ripped off, robbed and all we got was disgusting food. NEVER EAT HERE.

This is the WORST fish and chip shop I've ever been to. The cod tasted like washing up liquid, was rubbery and made me feel ill! Chips were hard and overcooked. I don't know how they are still open tbh. It tasted like something from a bushtucker trial so NEVER EVER EAT HERE!

The location of this fish and chip shop could be ideal for all rail travellers. Just minutes from the rail station. However, the food is grim. My haddock, and I would put money on the fact that it was not haddock at all, was so bad and the chips were so greasy. With so many great places in Bournemouth to eat fresh fish and chips, this cafe fits securely at the bottom of the list.

Cod tasted old chips were 50 edible the service was the only thing that wasn't terrible shame the restaurant next door was the total opposite

This little chippy used to be very good for a quick bight, but now the owner has taken over and lost all her good staff, its on its way out. I stopped for a quick lunch just a few chips a battered sausage and a saveloy . Everything I tried to eat was old and been hanging around for ages the battered sausage was almost cold and greasy, the saveloy was water logged so must have been in the water for a long time and the chips something that's been reheated from the night before. I used to call in regularly for a quick snack never again.
