Daylesford Brompton Cross in Kensington and Chelsea

Daylesford had been recommended to us but our experience fell well short of expectations. Everything we found to be exceedingly expensive, geared to ‘ladies who lunch’ and there was no seating unless buying food or wine. Visiting this establishment is not geared to enjoyment. Would we go again- most certainly not. There is no provision, so staff advised us, for those with a disability. Even after buying an expensive drink, unless it was wine, staff will ask you to move on.

This is a delightful high-end organic shop and restaurant with three floors packed with lovely edible items and home wares. We were there for lunch and had a delicious Cotswolds’ salad - chicken, ham, cheese and more - and burger, served with cheese, salsa and a side of tomatoes. All of the food was great and prices fair.

The Farmshop and cafe were excellent and enjoyable. The food was well prepared. Ate downstairs a couple of times which was also very good. Food upstairs from a limited menu but very tasty.

Amazing quality organic food and very fast service . Great service overall and beautiful decor .price was reasonable for organic food.

Had a very nice lunch at Brompton Cross yesterday but made the mistake of visiting the ladies toilet. It was awful…. Quite a lot of liquid on the floor at the base of the toilet, too far from basin to be water..ugh. Soap container empty and no hand towels. Wish I had visited before I ate as I believe toilets reflect the restaurant. No email, that I could find, to complain to Head Office. Complained to Manager.

Nice place to get a lunch on Sloane Avenue. Plenty of different options to choose from. Bright and clean with good service. Recommended.

We only had a cappuccino here but the shop is lovely, staff really friendly, great sitting outside in the sunshine.

I visited the restaurant a couple of time for breakfast during w/c August 10th and both the service and food (Huevos Rancheros) was excellent.

The decor ia refreshing and the choices quite good. I ordered the specialty breakfast of the day; scrambled egg whites, chilli and coriander.

Fresh organic produce. The breakfast options are good but not really out of the world delicious. The seating area is nice though for a meal.

I visited Daylesford a few times last year, soon after it opened. Although the place looked great, I wasn’t impressed. However, I visited the restaurant a couple of time for breakfast during w/c August 12th and both the service and food was excellent. The only downside was that on both occasions they had no avocados. While this wasn’t a great problem for me… I had sausage, ham and scrambled egg... delicious. However, I think that running out of avocados in Chelsea could cause great consternation to many customers!!!

We thought Daylesford in Brompton Cross was great. We went there for breakfast 3 days in a row. Bought some lotion and a book in the downstairs shop also. Here's the key: order at the counter on the main floor. Coffee, rolls, porridge, all fine and the wait staff is very friendly and helpful. If you really want a treat, go to the bakery offering in the middle of the floor and ask for the Bakewell coffee cake - it's divine.

We went there 22/4/19 both ordered chicken which came raw. There solution were some free coffees....

Never mind the pretentiousness of this establishment, I was shocked when I handed over 40GBP for some chicken that should have cost less than 30GBP and was literally handed back ten pence. That is until I said something.He said sorry but I don't believe him so a warning to anyone paying by cash, please check your change because they might try to shortchange you.

This place is set over three floors with the ground and basement being dedicated to their shop and the first floor their restaurant. We walked in on a weekday without a reservation. The place was quite busy and a little chaotic requiring for us to wait a little while before we were acknowledged and then actually getting a table. Food choice was extensive with good specials. Food was very tasty. Drink choice was fairly limited and not that great. Service was very friendly, albeit slow. Bill was on the expensive side for what we had.

Lovely laid out deli and cafe on 1 st floor. Food is great for the healthy and diet. Well priced for central London and my only gripe is somebody was burning toast more than once whilst we where there. Nothing more annoying than acrid burnt toast smell whilst enjoying your lunch. Great attentive staff.

Using the organic trend to charge £7 for a ham & cheese croissant. On top of that horrible Coffe. £10 wasted. You should review your concept.

How great to be able to eat organic food, meaning of a high quality, in a very nice and well decorated place.

I do hope that even the wealthy neighbours are not silly enough to pay for cod at £58 per kilo. Perhaps though it's come via Sunseeker? I do also hope that the designers retire quickly - 0/10 for putting the 'juice bar' just one metre...

Daylesford is -by far- my favorite spot for breakfast and brunch. Grate service - friendly personnel- excellent products - they change the menu @ 12pm for the lunch menu, so be advised! A new pearl in Chelsea!
