Dark Horse Espresso in Solihull

the frappes and coffee are incredible and the staff are friendly and helpful. i go there regularly and have never been disappointed.

Today was my first visit here and first impressions last. I had a sit-in coffee but got served it in a paper mug. The server kindly corrected the error when I pointed it out but it meant another long wait. I'd also asked for a cookie, only to be told they don't do them! One of the other servers then pointed out that they had "giant cookies" by the window; however, when I checked, they were barely bigger than a Hobnob and priced at £3.20 each! Also, the ambiance was spoiled a little by a group of four staff members sitting and standing round a central table having a loud chinwag for the whole time I was there.

Kids love coming for a milkshake treat en route to the Bentley Heath park. It is a small cafe and can get busy at lunch/weekends. Friendly and personal service.

Been coming here for a coffee on the way to work for a few weeks. So disappointed today to be told that they were too busy preparing ‘online orders’ to serve me a cappuccino! Good coffee (except today) but don’t like that level of service. Probably won’t come again.

Popped in whilst cycling in area. Respite from the inclement weather. Met colleague for a coffee. Hosts Dan & Whitney most welcoming. Coffee excellent. Range of temting cakes on offer. Highly recommend for a voffee stop when out cycling. . Great local addition. Best wishes i will be back.
