Darjeeling in Salford

This order was our first from Darjeeling, and we will be ordering again. The food was super delicious, and delivered hot. The chicken tikka kebab was brilliant, the chicken was brilliant, cut into nice strips. Yep. Brilliant.

Don't know what's happened lately but they have really upped their game even more, best butter chicken I've ever had. Sooo much chicken and a beautiful sauce! Reasonable price and huge kebabs, gorgeous fresh Naan too

Lovely kebab, the mixed kebab was huge and could have fed a family! The delivery driver was super polite too!

The curry had no spice and was tasteless. The worst Karahi I've had in a while. Like red chicken pieces in tomato soup. Not good

checking the app to see my food had been delivered phoned the takeaway said it was leaving in a few mins later , after another 30 mins phoned again to be told to wait a minute so I had to wait while I heard the guy taking an order so I hung up and rang again, eventually got my meal 5 mins after that call by which time I ws past being hungry

Order was delivered missing items, crushed and freezing, rang the restaurant to be told they’re busy and they’ll give us a discount next time, considering we ordered at 6:15 food was delivered at 7:20 stone cold really disappointed. £43 wasted!

Ordered from here numerous times, but today was the straw that broke the camels back. Ordered my curry at 6:50pm, and waited until 8:50pm for it to arrive - which it didn’t. Proceeded to phone the curry house to be told that the driver tried to deliver it, but nobody answered the door. Considering I have a Ring Doorbell and that I was home for the whole evening, I felt this excuse was disgusting. Unless something is done to rectify this, do not bother.

Chicken Tikka NOT Chicken Tikka.. lots of red food colouring but no flavour at all. Very bad

Ordered from here a few times and always been good. Tonight it arrived stinking of cigarette smoke, then the chicken was undercooked & jelly like (photos have been sent to just eat) so it’s gone in the bin!

Curry was very nice but wrap was a joke,mayo in box salad in plastic bag!!!Wrap very small and very low quality

Really nice food. Meat quality is good, the driver was lovely and delivered on time. The bhaji wasn’t the best, chips aren’t anything special and the poppadoms don’t come with onion which seems to be standard elsewhere. Minor complaints though, overall great meal!

Something wrong with the donner. It's got bits of bone in it for sure. Like it was MSM only. Nothing like that in donner from Xotica next door.

Ordered for 2 adults 2 children. Poppadoms didn’t arrive, one of the children’s chicken nuggets and chips didn’t arrive, ordered boiled rice and received another type. Tried calling, but got an answer phone message. Gave up in the end

Last week our food was not upto darjeelings great standard.i wrote a review. The day after the management rang me and apologised and offered me a free replacement meal.we had this last night and can say it was absolutely fantastic. Awful. Order was incorrect and food is slimey. Chips are cold, stale and undercooked. Worst takeaway of my life.

Further to a recommendation on social media I decided to try Darjeeling and ordered a delivery for one person the other day, I have to say it was excellent, hence my review. The online ordering process easy, the menu range excellent and the meals at good prices. The food arrived on time as ordered, it was hot and very tasty, I couldn't ask for more. I will definitely use again and recommend to anyone local wanting a delivered take away.

The food from here is excellent. On this occasion there was some items missing, but a phone call to the restaurant got them sent out quickly and with a complimentary bottle of of coke. Great service

Placed a large order Saturday for collection and it was all very nice. Done within 25 mins which was impressive. Ok they forgot some popadoms but they delivered them (plus more and a little bonus) within 15 mins. Really good 👍

The lamb starters didn't have any side salad with it. The tika masalla was ok. Bit too much coconut in it. The keama nan wasn't very nice. Strange smell to it. I didn't realise until it was too late that I'd paid the £3.99 delivery charge on top of the 50p service charge. Or i wouldn't have ordered it. The food was ok not the worst. But not the best.

Ordered takeaway, Given days old dried out donner that you could snap. They totally ignored me, Food standards agency needs to take a look at this place. If you're looking for a nice fresh kebab then this is not the place for you. Ended up throwing away everything. Dirty

Cancelled my order five minutes before it was meant to be delivered to me after waiting an hour already because it was too far outside of their radius? I will be getting a full refund which is fine but just really poor service from them and Deliveroo, won’t be recommending anyone to order from here unfortunately which is a shame because the food is very good

Had both kebabs and Currys from here recently. All pretty decent with no complaints. Find it hard to find decent kebabs on just eat these day so this is a winner. Will be back

Delivery, no onion bhaji sent, chips soggy, Curry, rogan josh no sauce just onions and few peppers, chicken tikka Massala, hmm, not like have i ever tasted before, didnt eat it.Condiments, only mango and onion, unfortunately its a no from me.sat eating a bag of crisp!

Food was nice enough. Initial delivery time of 30-45 mins, food turned up 1 hour 50mins after ordering. Food was still hot though. Just not ideal when you have 2 young kids waiting to eat.

Shocking curry's, everything tasted the same and the chicken tikka masala was like tomatoe soup with chicken and tinned potatoes in the bombay potatoes was ridiculous, I love a good curry but binned half of this.... never again.

Got a text saying food was on its way at 20:20 didn’t arrive until 21:00 but overall the food was very nice .

Chicken tika lol ... was obviously bought from Iceland you know the frozen slices in the bag .. don't understand if you have a tandoor why cheap out letting themselves down big time .never again

The only thing that was nice was the onion bhaji and the Nan bread. The curry was bland no flavour at all and my food was very watery.

The food was nice. The only problem was they put hot red sause on the seekh kebabe. When i clearly stated no sause. And its not the fist time this has happened either. But the food in general was ok.

Delivery was fine and it’s normally fine from here but they had put onions on my kebab when I noted no onions. Luckily I noticed before hand. As I have an allergy to them. Shame really as I couldn’t eat the majority of it.

Thought Nan bread would’ve been included as don’t think stated on the menu. And just be bit better on progress of order status - though was given via this just eat.

We eat here regularly, the Currys are great , never had a bad one yet, same goes for kebabs , the Asian style donna is a 2 manner...

Chips under cooked. Bread under cooked. Chicken was not nice. Curry was okay but whole meal was ruined due to taste and presentation.

Took a hour to arrive bit on the cold side, will probably not order again
