Had a lovely birthday dinner. The quality of food for each course was excellent and the Bailey's Panna Cotta dessert was heaven on a plate!

Exceeded Expectations Our lamb shank was cooked to perfection. The fish and chips were perfect. Prompt, courteous service made for a great experience.

After our game of golf the clubhouse kitchen had closed. The Dalmore Inn was recommended and didn't disappoint. To start with, plenty car parking spaces which is always a bonus. Very nice inside, lovely interior and lots of space so the tables were well spaced out. The service we received was first class and the food was excellent. Standard fayre but all to a high standard. I'd recommend the Mac cheese! Our bill came to £30pp for 2 courses and a drink, so good value for what we got. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to a return visit.

Randomly decided to have a visit to Blairgowrie as haven’t been there for 15 plus years. First time visiting this establishment and will definitely return. Comfortable, clean surroundings with unfussy service. Food reasonably priced. Portion size was good and food was tasty.

Delicious food presented very elegantly. Friendly service - the two wait staff were very friendly. Prices are true to the quality of the food - pricey but worth it. We were warned there would be a wait as there was a table of 8 seated before us, but this wait was a very long time for a quiet service (4 other tables) which is the only reason it is a 4 out of 5. This shouldn’t put you off though as the food was worth the visit and like I said we were warned. We would visit again (just maybe not with a 10 month old in tow!)

LOVE this place!! Service is brilliant, Food was delicious!!!! Was speaking about the dessert for days afterwards. First time there and can't wait to go back. Absolutely brilliant! Visited for the first time for lunch recently. The staff were excellent however the surroundings felt a little bit like a dated care home. The starters of smoked artichoke were lovely. My main of steak bruschetta was great but the other, nachos wasn't the best. Maybe worth another try if in the area.

We ate at the Dalmore whilst on holiday in the area, we had a great experience we were quickly shown to a table, I had reserved earlier on the day. Nice welcoming atmosphere. The food was very good I had a prawn skewer starter which was tasty, 2 of us had chicken which was slightly dry but that may just be our personal taste but again tasty, the third member of my party had the beef cheek and said it was the best meal he’d had on holiday, tender and full of flavour. We wouldn’t hesitate to call again when holidaying in the area and I would recommend

We were looking for dinner on our way home and stopped at this place. So glad we did. We both had sea bream on some kind of creamed leeks with asparagus and saffron potatoes. Absolutely delicious. Friendly service with a smile and a big car park. We'll definitely return.

The standard pub grub was okay but was eye-wateringly expensive for what it was. Go to a Wetherspoons for a similar but cheaper experience.

Have driven past many times but this time booked and not disappointed. Service was excellent and waitress was exceptionally helpful. The main that I had seen on the daily specials was sold out but she negotiated an alternative with the chef and it was delicious. Tikka sea bream with chick pea chips and salsa. This is the first time we have been in a restaurant since last September and so nice it was to be in an excellent one. We went for Lunch at the Dalmore in Blairgowrie in the company of my wife, her sister and husband and also my elderly 92 year old Mother in Law. We were greeted by a young man who dealt with the Track and Trace formality, showed us the hand sanitising stuff and showed us to a table. A very pleasant young waitress then took over gave us menus and took orders for drinks. All of this was swift and friendly. The menu was good with plenty of specials. I had a lovely garlicky soup and chicken with pasta,asparagus and peas in a white sauce all delicious. The others with me also had lovely food too including a lighter choice for my sister and mother in laws. I pigged out and had some dessert as well. This restaurant is spacious, immaculately clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. The toilets are well appointed and also immaculate. It’s lovely to be back and we will return.

During our stay in Blairgowrie we tried a few restaurants, and this was the best by far. A wide variety of dishes and all looking and tasting great. Good and friendly service.

Great Staff, relaxed and quiet surroundings (no music so you can talk and not shout) good choices on menus inc tender Steak and Chunky Scampi pieces (not the one bite size from other restaurants).Will definitely be back, and will bring our dog as they are allowed when dining outside.

Stopped here only as desperate for coffee and toilet stop. It looked open and spotless from the outside. It is a warm and welcoming, spacious restaurant with really friendly and efficient staff. However - we had a cheese board and a pudding and my pud was fresh and sooo tasty. I heard the other customers comment about how flavoursome their meals were. The menu is varied and imaginative. Visited here whilst on holiday in Blairgowrie. Restaurant came recommended and didn’t disappoint. Covid regulations were impeccable inside and the staff were fantastic. Great choice on the menu and well priced. The food itself was superb when it arrived. Piping hot, well presented and wow was it tasty (We both had the Chicken and chorizo pie)All in all if you’re in the area and dining out well worth a visit. We will certainly be back.

My wife and I visited the Dalmore on 19/09/2000 for an evening meal and we were delighted at our choice of venue. We received a warm welcome and found the staff to be covid compliant, professional and attentive. The presentation and flavour of the meal was excellent and we found no fault with any of the 3 courses. We have no hesitation in recommending the Dalmore.

We ate here recently and the food was fantastic. We are staying in a lodge close by and this was our first time coming here. The staff were all very helpful and all covid precautions were in place with well spaced out tables. The building was lovely all lit up at night. The food was great and all homemade, the drink selection was great aswell. Would highly recommend

Just back from my second visit to the Dalmore Inn in two days, had a lovely lunch out with a friend, enjoyed it so much took my husband back the next day for his lunch! Excellent service, excellent Covid awareness. Felt safe, the young men and women serving were a credit to the restaurant. They knew the rules and procedures and followed them to the letter. Nice to be in a place without music blaring so you could have a conversation in peace. The food was good a little bit on the expensive side though. Enjoyed our visit and would definitely come here again.

Just back from a weeks stay in Blairgowrie and we had the pleasure of eating in the Dalmore twice during our stay. From entering the premises we felt really safe with all the measures in place with social distancing. The staff are a credit to the Dalmore and nothing was too much trouble for them. So thank you to them. The food was amazing I would throughly recommend it to anyone looking for a cracking day or night out. We stay in Lanarkshire but would most Certainly travel just to eat in the Dalmore.Thanking you once again and keep up the great workRegardsJoe and Charlotte

I have been to the dalmore so many times and I do absolutely love it but I just couldn’t help but think it’s quite pricey now? We went out for lunch and we were using the 50% off scheme, so we were really looking forward to a cheapish lunch, however it came to £35.... £55 before we got our 10% off. I just think £35 seems very dear for lunch. Don’t get me wrong the service was great, the place was clean and as always the food was absolutely delicious but I just feel it is quite a lot. We had sharing nachos as a starter and they were over £12? They were yummy and very cheesy and a generous portion but still expensive for some crisps to be honest. The main course my boyfriend had was a daily special and it was so delicious and fantastic... chorizo, chicken and wild mushroom with a pastry topping, would definitely recommend that. I will definitely return, as I have done many times before, but just couldn’t help but wonder if prices had been increased to coincide with this 50% off.....

Came here yesterday evening with my partner 1st time since lock downWe both enjoyed coming here once more , and staff are always very welcoming and friendly and helpful For our starters we both had the king prawn and salad we both ate it all and was delicious then for the main I had the crispy chicken and pasta tomatoes and peppers all the flavours in the dish with the chicken was so gd ,my partner had the steak and all the trimmings and French mustard he had on his steak he also enjoyed it all then we both had the mini knickerblocker glory that was so gd i had a morgans and coke and my partner had a pint of Belhaven and we cant wait to return once again

surprise meal for my mums 70th on 22nd July. the food was absolute perfection couldn't fault it. I had the chicken tikka spring rolls and the butterfly chicken with parmasan crust with pasta and pesto sauce. i can say without hesitation it's the best food I have tasted. I will certainly be returning next time I am up that way and my folks live in Kinloch so they will be returning soon.

Treating ourselves to a couple of days away after lockdown. We have eaten at the Dalmore Inn a couple of times before and were looking forward to venturing to a restaurant for the first time in months. We were pleasantly reassured by the staff with their efforts to provide a safe but still friendly atmosphere. The food was great as we had expected and at no time felt that the covid restrictions were breached. Went for dinner with a group of friends. My food was excellent. Staff could not have been friendlier, and very efficient. Sensible prices. Good selection of specials. Could just do with a few more soft furnishings to absorb the noise from other diners and the wooden floor.

Been to the Dalmore a few times now although not for a while. My partner and I took my son, who was home for the weekend, there last Saturday and it was out of this world. The staff were very friendly and polite. I had chicken with a pine nut and Parmesan crust on pasta with sauce. I loved it. My son had the duck which he thoroughly enjoyed and my partner had a steak which was also excellent. The Dalmore is a lovely, bright, spotlessly clean restaurant with excellent food and staff. I cannot wait till I go back. Well done Dalmore.

Very friendly service set this place apart but the quality of food was average, depending on what choices were made. The fish and chips were particularly disappointing. It did the job well but was nowhere near as good as what I’d expected it to be.

Came here for a quick dinner - food was ok - service not bad although forgotten a couple of times. I had chicken liver parfait which was nice and haggis and steak pie which was good - my wife had a chicken curry - food was good ambience was very nice as well. All in all good place

A late lunch on Boxing Day, December 26, ‘19, found us at The Dalmore Inn & Restaurant. We called ahead for a reservation but was met with slow, seemingly very indifferent service. Although apparently not very busy, my initial impression was we were being ignored. After being seated and drink order being taken and delivered, I watched several wait staff walk all around us, glance at us, and apparently ignore us to take our order. After about 30 minutes, apparently a manager had a waitresses come take our order. After another long wait, and watching other later parties come in, order, and get their food, we finally got our rather simple order of fish & chips for all three of us. The food, when we received it, was reasonably good. The overall experience though was tarnished by the overriding feeling we were being ignored. The food was good, the value reasonable, but unfortunately, the presentation in the form of their service such that I would not recommend a visit. There are other, better places to eat in and around Blairgowrie.

We clearly didn’t eat at the same place as many of the reviews on here 3 of us visited on Christmas Eve for a meal, the food was very poor the vegetables undercooked the meat over cooked and dry. The patty starter shop brought and average, as were the desserts.Bearing in mind this was an expensive meal, it fell very far of expectations We will not be back

I have eaten here more than once. The manager welcomes you back and knows who you are. Convivial surroundings, a wide choice on the menu and the food well cooked. The cuisine tends a little towards the Scottish game end of the spectrum although not exclusively. I particularly enjoy the Macaroni Cheese. But nothing I've had wasn't well cooked and tasty. Sitting out on the lawn in warmer weather is enjoyable.

What to do on a rainy day? Have lunch! We ended up at the Dalmore inn. Chose the smoked haddock risotto. Though a bit salty it was delicious. We found we had some room left for deserts and tried the Eton mess coupe and the sticky toffee pudding. They were very helpful in reducing the size of the coupe. And everything was served by a very cheerful lady. We would go and eat there again.

A warm welcome when you enter, service is attentive throughout. Food is locally sourced . We enjoyed the 2 course menu and all courses were good. Starters of melon and soup were tasty. Steak and Thai chicken followed and were really nice. Good sized helpings.

Stopped off here a couple of weeks ago for an impromptu lunch. The fact we had two dalmatians with us wasn't an issue. We opted to eat outside because it was a lovely day, but that had no adverse effect on the service, which was both prompt and friendly. I had the Home Smoked Chicken Breast Salad and the Sticky Toffee Pudding, both of which were lovely. An enjoyable experience.
