We had one of our best meals of the trip at Sandemans. All of the dishes were delicious, but the whole experience was even better because the sommelier was so knowledgable and took our meal to a whole other level.

From the welcome as we entered the restaurant to the final sip of perfect wine pairings we were utterly enraptured in the whole experience. Sommelier Jamie Cruz and the waiting team provided the perfect evening, taking time to explain every aspect of food and wine. Jamie’s knowledge on wines, liqueurs and whisky (yes we quizzed him on that too) was exceptional. Of course, we mustn’t forget the chefs who produced a menu to delight even the most discerning of customers. Thank you - we will definitely return to this amazing restaurant within Fonab Castle Hotel.

From start to finish and amazing experience. Slight issue when we arrived with our booking as they thought we were booked into the other restaurant in the hotel but this was very quickly fixed. Chefs tasting menu with wine pairing was a real treat with both waitress and sommelier service 10/10. I would highly recommend if you are visiting the area.

The food was outstanding, we could never fault it, the service by George was amazing and faultless I am going to be totally honest I didnt think the pod was worth £75 the linoleum was creased, the windows were dirty! I think it being a special birthday and only the 2 of us ( A couple) they could have reduced the price.

Amazing tasting menu with matched wine pairings. Service was outstanding and we loved the pacing/portion sizes (not too overwhelming)

Surprising that it is not star-studded! Everything was perfect from start to finish: extremely friendly service, very successful food/wine pairing, no false notes on the dishes (salty or sweet). In short, an excellent restaurant that deserves at least one star. Go there, you won't be disappointed!

We booked Sandeman’s restaurant 3 weeks prior to our trip to celebrate our 42nd anniversary. On arrival, we were taken to the Brasserie instead of Sandeman’s. I asked what was happening and showed them my confirmation email. They said they were unable to honor the reservation as they were overbooked. Then they offered to show us the restaurant we could not eat in. What a slap in the face. Shane on them. Never to return!

Can't believe this isn't the top restaurant in Perth. Definitely our favourite! Absolutely delicious 4 course lunch with matching wines today. As always, excellent service from Christopher and Fraser producing fabulous food. Loved the local gallery which is a new addition since our last visit. Already booked for our next dinner. If you've not been yet, go!

Made a special autumn trip to Cafe Kisa for coffee and cake. It’s been a while and the old Cafe Kisa we once knew is now a fabulous new Cafe Kisa restaurant and coffee venue, same street, just across the road. Beautiful venue, excellent staff, warming tasty coffee, yummiest scones ever. Wish we were staying for lunch, though it is always best to book. Having mobility issues I always dread, often fear, having to visit the special access facilities. Hallelujah, stunning, great care and consideration has been given to visitors to this facility, thank you. My husband managed to climb the stairs to the toilets and his comment was - amazing. Worth the climb. Cafe Kisa is such a great asset to this lovely village, lucky locals. We hope to visit again soon as the food we saw being served was truly mouthwatering.
