We visited Daisys in the Park, Radlett, during their recent 50% off food on a Monday promotion. We booked a table in advance as we expected to find the café busy, so we were surprised to find we were the only customers. The breakfast menu had plenty of choices. We went for the Brioche French toast (with vanilla crème fraiche, berry compote, caramelised banana & salted caramel); the Buttermilk pancakes (with berry compote, smoked streaky bacon, crispy honeycombed butter & maple syrup) and a selection of cooked breakfast items. Whilst half-portions of Brioche French toast and Buttermilk pancakes are available, there was no half-portion of the Daisy&Co Full Breakfast for children. Both the French toast and the Buttermilk pancakes were excellent and so was the sausage in the full breakfast. The food arrived after only a short wait. We enjoyed sitting by the wood-burning stove, in the sun lounge extension, with the lovely views across the Watling Steet Recreation Ground gardens. At full price, I think the food is a bit expensive (but you would expect that for Radlett), but with their offer it was excellent value for money!

Can the owner please reply and explain. Lets start and say food was above average. Service was very slow and poor. The waitress was obviously having a bad day and I got”that” look a few times!!I ordered avocado on sourdough and then the problems started. Can I please have the toast buttered then the avocado and please add 2 poached eggs. Sorry we can’t butter the toast the butter is kept outside the kitchen area!!No problem take the butter inside the kitchen area and ask the “chef” to butter the toast I’m sorry we can’t do that.I’m sorry I don’t understand. It’s our policy We’ll is it possible you could change it (death stare) can you please check with the “chef” if he could butter the toast on this occasion (death stare) If he can’t I I’ll choose something else.30 ish mins later the food arrives with my meal (unbuttered toast)Really really don’t understand how a restaurant/chef can’t butter toast just makes no sense!!Food as I said was above average ,service poor and slow In summary CAN DO BETTER!!

I am very unhappy with the wait staff, I ordered specifically an order and there was no communication, they never asked me if I have any allergies and the food came in cold! If the staff are not happy with there job they should not be in this industry, as I come to relax and have a pleasant experience! This was the 2 nd time I’ve had a bad experience and I will not being coming to your cafe again, I will let people know! While I was there another lady complained that she had hair in her food, wow, 2 complaints in one day! This is not good! I asked for managers number but as I cannot contact Julie I’ve decided to put a bad review instead to make people aware!

We went to Daisy's in the Park in Radlett for a birthday party on a Sunday night. The restaurant had been hired out for the event so I cannot comment on what it is like when it is open to the public. However, when we were there the service and food was very good. It is quite smart, with nice decor. Overall I would say that this is much better than the Daisy's in the Park in Pinner

I visited for the first time for brunch , mixture of adults and children in our group, I found the food to be very over priced especially the children's menu. We ordered pancakes and a sausage roll from the kids menu, the menu states the pancakes come with "fruit" it came out with 6 blueberries, we asked for more fruit and they said they could give us more blueberries but nothing else, a few mins later they did bring some strawberries to us. The pancakes were £6 and they were mini! The kids sausage in a bun was tiny, a very small plain roll, no butter , and a small sausage & this cost £4.50! . In general I found all the portions small for how much they cost, staff were not overly friendly, service was a bit slow, there are defiantly better places for breakfast/brunch.

We chose fish goujons & mushy peas in the sourdough bread plus halloumi fries, and grilled chicken, avocado, spinach and mayonnaise with fries. Both were VERY good and filling. Fantastic hit chocolate too! Good choice of small plates, however limited the choice of sandwiches. I recommend adding milkshakes to the drinks menu and expanding the choice of sandwiches too.

Beautiful setting with a rustic feel, lovely looking restaurant and ambience with friendly, attentive staff, but sadly the food ordered on the day was over-cooked. Three of us ordered the same, halloumi and smashed avocado sandwiches on artisan bread served with hand-cut chips. The filling in the sandwich was lovely served on carmalised onion; however the toasted artisan bread was too brittle to get our teeth into and the chips were overdone too. I will come back to give the restaurant another go and hope it was a one off as most reviews of the restaurant are positive.

Defo worth a visit. Been here twice now and it’s a great little restaurant. Good varied and interesting menu, quirky but functional decor. It’s a local independent restaurant that needs local support. The restaurant business is really tough right now and I hope they are a success as they are having real go. Live music once a month. Amazing breakfasts and their fish finger mushy pea sandwich at lunchtime is simply perfect. Will defo return.

I asked for gluten free bread for my sandwich which i was told they had, then told then did not have it. When we left, without food, the manager said 'you have only been waiting 10 mins' this beggars belief! Visited with my father for breakfast - arrived at 9:45am on a Sunday morning to be told there is a 40 minute wait for food, despite many free tables. This was fine, so we were seated & menus given. Order was taken 5 minutes later - both food & drink. 50 minutes later we still had no food & tables were being served around us. I asked a member of staff after another 10 minutes how much longer it would be, she cams back moments later to say our order had been missed. We were finally served our less than acceptable breakfast at 11:20. That’s an hour and 35 minutes wait for cold eggs Benedict. There was plates and cutlery piled onto the middle table and the entire place was a shambles. Will never visit again!

We recently visited this small but cosy coffee bar come cafe with my family, we booked for breakfast at 11.15, it wasn’t very busy so we had a choice of table, the staff were pleasant and quick to take our order, it wasn’t a difficult order no allergies or intolerances just one vegetarian, breakfast, one English breakfast with two sausages, one soft scrambled eggs smoked salmon and one beans and scrambled eggs well done, nothing out of the ordinary. unfortunately nothing arrived as we had ordered apart from the well done scrambled eggs, and it looked awful, the mushrooms were burnt the food was stone cold, the smoked salmon was brown and arrived with poached eggs and the vegetarian turned up in disguise as two sausages with their partner in crime Mr bacon! Dear oh dear, shamefully bad.

Went to meet my two friends for a Birthday celebration last Saturday. Been before and and it's a lovely setting for sure and a very pretty cafe. My friend booked a setting for 2pm and people were already on the table halfway through lunch but the waitress moved them and they kindly agreed. (The table had a sign on for a booking for 2pm and that's the time I arrived). Bit embarrassing but all ok otherwise so far. Delighted to see my friends. It went a bit downhill after than when one friend went to pay in advance but felt 'invisable' by the staff as they were so busy talking. The food was good. And I particularly liked that the chef came to see us at the table as we had a some dietary requirements. Good on the chef checking all ok. It all went wrong with the three girls serving. They threw their eyes up at every request. That started with payment and other food requests. Felt we were in the way and being awkward. One asked if the food was ok and it was. But it was the general attitude. It was appalling! I have no idea who to contact to writing this review here so other's are aware.

We asked for free drinks for the long wait and we were given these. There was a man who was acting as manager and he agreed the service was not good. We finally got an apology at the end when we paid the bill but it didn't seem sincere. Daisy's in the Park is a small restaurant in Radlett. It has a small, but well thought out menu and selection of drinks. The décor is rustic which, in combination with the friendly staff, gave the place a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. For a place at the lower end of the price range, the food was really very well cooked and presented and excellent value for money. I have seen some of the negative comments on service, however, this certainly wasn't an issue when we visited on a relatively quiet evening and I suspect we had a different person serving us. However, I could see that the staff might have been a little stretched if the place was full. I suggest not letting the comments put you off and giving the place a go if you are in the area.

I really feel this place could be great but the staff seem to let it down! Apart from one man who i 'think' is the owner or manager! He's super friendly and helpful. The other staff seem too scatty, like school boys who don't take the job seriously. When we asked what the soup was last time we was there the waiter simple said ' Ah i don't know..', a simple 'I'm not too sure just let me chekc for you' would have been fine. Then when he brought the soup out he could barely carry it without spilling (although the soup dish was partly to blame'. My advice, get more experienced, friendly staff who are on the ball! oh and make your breakfasts abit bigger! you literally get one egg, sausage, rasher of bacon and a tiny pot of beans (usually a pot you would be given mayo in). You can still have a more up market breakie without being stingey. All in all io think there is potential!

A small restaurant ideal for solo diners or couples: A single long table almost the full length of the dining area would suit a party booking - but there is just room for one of these. Overall atmosphere is quiet and secluded. We had the steak - which was cooked as we asked - and the presentation was very good. Prices are not low - quantities could be increased slightly to justify. However, we will certainly be regular customers.

Radlett is not bestowed with good restaurants but this was a surprise Popped in for lunch and impressed with the imaginative decor and ambience. My wife had an excellent salad and I a fish finger sandwich which was well prepared and tasty. Will be back

We dropped in for a late Sunday meal and were pleasantly surprised with the selection of drinks and food, all healthy and the salads in particular were creative. Quick service and lots of space with seating alternatives, inside and outside. Will be back !

This a really pleasant little restaurant serving simple food and snacks. Both my wife and I opted for burgers which were very good. I thought that the triple cooked chips were slightly burned, my wife thought hers were fine. I like the idea that they offer beers from a local craft brewery in Watford ( Pope's Yard), words I never expected to write. I thoroughly enjoyed both the stout and the relaxed atmosphere.

My husband and I were going to the theatre in Radlett and stumbled upon this little gem by accident. Food was really excellent, very tasty and nicely presented. Very relaxed. Well definitely go back.

We had been here for coffee and lunch and decided to try Daisy's for dinner. It was very quiet on a Saturday evening-we were the only customers for most of our meal. Two more diners came in as we were finishing.

Found Daisy's by accident, but a happy accident in the end. Everything was freshly cooked, tasty and served in a lovely, quaint environment. Thankfully it was quiet the day we went as it took a while to get served/food out, but worth the wait.

I had not been to this restaurant as it took so long to open and local reviews had not been enthusiastic. However my husband went with friends for an early lunch and told me that the food was superb. We went with my daughter some days later and we were all very impressed with the service and the food. The menu is really very healthy and offers a great choice.

Very cool place, nice outlook over the park, funky furniture and decor, friendly and polite staff. Good coffee, yummy eggs benedict and salmon with (delicious) scrambled eggs. Definitely recommend for brunch!

Having only previously been here for coffee and cake, 5 of us went for lunch on a Sunday. We had the spacious booth seat. We all shared Buffalo wings to start - a portion of BBQ ones and a portion of spicy hot ones. These were delicious but the hot ones are really hot. I had a Fish Finger Sandwich which has tartar sauce AND mushy peas in it... It was lovely. Other dishes we had were the Calamari, Goats Cheese salad and a beef sandwich. All dishes were tasty, and at £55 including service, you can't go too far wrong. :-)

Daisy’s in the park is situated in the centre of Radlett and just a short walk from the station. It is a nice light airy café with views across a small park. Old cinema / theatre seats give a lot of atmosphere to the place along with a long table and a large round table for groups (the old cinema / theatre seats only suitable if just having drinks and snacks as tables are rather low).

A very big “Thank you!” to Ahmet, Umet and all the staff at Aksular; who helped create a wonderful and memorable evening for my wife and our 44 guests. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Everyone enjoyed their food and had a wonderful evening. I am very grateful to Ahmet. He has a friendly, understanding nature and made organising the party simple and straightforward for me. The restaurant is clean and tastefully decorated and the menu is excellent value for money. The bread and salad starters are so very tasty. The Aksular Chef’s Special Platter to share was loved by all the carnivores and the vegetarians relished the Vegetarian Moussaka. I highly recommend the restaurant. Thanks again Team Aksular. 🏆🏆🏆

Very well presented food, tasty to boot, and generous sized portions. Situated in nice small upmarket shopping village. Never disappointed with food here.

We arrived an hour and a half before a show across the road. We booked in advance, but we're the only people in the dining section of the pub. The waitress was superb, very helpful and pleasant. The food took a long time to arrive. We had to tell them that we had to leave shortly. When the food arrived, my T-bone pork steak was not thoroughly cooked through, so I had to leave it. After a short argument with the chef, the meal was taken off the bill.
