Me encanta. ¡Ah, y su tarjeta de fidelidad te da un café gratis después de comprar cinco! ¡Eso es lo mejor que he visto! Suelen ser las nueve. Básicamente veinte por ciento de descuento. Increíble.

I confess to being rather bemused by some of the more strident criticism below, perhaps that is an indicator that I cannot be considered an aficionado. That said I do drink coffee everyday and had no problem with this offering. My only grumble would be that my Americano was on the small side (tiny cup rather than a mug), but it certainly tasted OK. The surroundings we affable enough; we will be back.

Camberwell Church Street is tatty and down at heel and Southwark Council is a stranger to street cleaning - the pavements are always filthy and piled high with garbage. Daily Goods seeks to offer an escape from this polluted, siren infested main road but then adds to the urban gloom by charging ridiculous prices and employing hopeless staff. If your idea of a relaxing coffee and a bun with a friend is to be ignored by the poseur counter staff, wait an age to be served, brought only half your order and then told a further ten minutes later that your waiter has just nipped out to get the bread for your friend's toast, then you're very welcome to it. I've given this place three chances with different friends and each time the staff have been terrible. After this most recent experience, I won't be going back again. Several independent coffee shops have sprung up on this road in the past couple of years. None of them are particularly good but Daily Goods is worst by far.

Can’t review the coffee as I didn’t have one but can highly recommend their chai latte. Not sickly sweet like those in the famous chains we all know and ‘love’. Spotlessly clean. Also had a lovely piece of banana loaf. Not bad value either. Can’t understand the negative reviews on here. It’s a coffee shop isn’t it??

Daily Goods is one of my local cafes and I used to love popping in for their excellent coffee and amazing cheese toasties with harissa / chives and red onion. I can hardly express the horror on finding they no longer sell sandwiches, because "it was too hard to know how much bread to order in". Madness. Many other cafes seem to manage it?! I was offered the replacement - a waffle. Yes, an actual waffle!! I almost cried. I explained that I actually really just wanted a sandwich, you know with that exotic ingredient - bread - but this wasn't to be. I left and got a very tasty falafel wrap from across the street. DG - if you're reading this for the love of Camberwell get some loaves back!!

Since moving to the area this has become a regular place for me. The coffee is up there with some of the best in London - apart from Monmouth and Federation I can't think of a place I'd rather be sat having a flat white. They've recently updated their filter coffee set-up so it's super precise. They've always got different blends on and do great cold brews in the summer. Lastly - it's a great place to sit down. Music is never to loud, there's always art on the walls from local art school grads and the vibe is very relaxed, with a really varied crowd. Oh and they do the best avacado on toast I've ever tasted - the secret is the Brindisa olive oil. Can't recommend highly enough

Can't do single espresso as don't have a group handle for it... ok, I'll have a double... The place is filled with the smell of toasting/burning (?) cheese as you walk. Gets worse when you sit down and try to enjoy a coffee. They clearly don't have an extraction fan but insist on toasties and other grilled stuff. I almost see why - the place is filled with people on Macs, probably sittng there a whole day with only one flat white at 2.50ish. Clearly the owner just tries to make some money on hot food but doesn't want to spend any on the extraction. The place eventually fills in with smoke. Charming... Coffee ok. Just ok. Won't be back, sorry guys.

Very nice coffee and comfortable enough, but some staff are unhelpful and unfriendly. A shame, as others have been great when I have visited on other occasions. If you expect to be treated with respect, you might want to avoid the risk. Service can also be slow.

This cafe has been open in Camberwell for quite a while now and I have been in quite a few times as my boyfriend really likes their coffee. For him this place is great. For me, the atmosphere is good but it lacks variation in the menu. In the time we have been coming here there has only been about 4 sandwich options and a few baked goods. It is all good quality but it could do with changing a little more frequently. Randomly they only have WiFi on weekdays...

I came for a quick snack and was not disappointed by the avocado toast which was very tasty. However, the staff came across as being cold and unfriendly, as if they are too hip and cool to bother with a smile and a bit of courtesy. I asked if the avocado toast came with salad and was told in a very brusque manner I would have to pay extra, as though I'd asked for something outlandish. I think £6 for the toast and a few salad leaves is a bit steep for this part of London, tasty as it was. Whilst I have no complaints about the food, I think this place is one of those annoying hipster places where if your face doesn't 'fit', the staff simply can't be bothered. Will never return again due to poor customer service.

Been here with my best friend three times already and we only found out about it just over a month ago. They do the best avocado toast I've ever had and the atmosphere is so nice- it is such a hidden gem! The cookies are also amazing. The only thing I would love to see on the menu is Chai Lattes...fingers crossed! Apart from that, love it! Will be returning again at some point this week!

Ducked in here during a rainstorm to shelter and was bowled over by the quality of food, coffee and service in this hip Camberwell deli. Went for the Peach chutney Ham toastie which was delicious and the coffee was excellent too. Loved it.

Nice tasting coffee overshadowed by the wait, three people in front of me in the que and waited almost 10 minutes. Didn't seem to be any sense of urgency about the staff, would maybe go back if I saw through the window that there was no que.

I would prefer to go to independent non-chain coffee shops. However, the service was slow and the gentleman that served me was sarcy. Would now possibly pop in if going past, but would not make a detour or deviation to get here. Bit pricey and would prefer larger coffees (but was told (rudely) we don't do larger coffee as that's not a proper coffee).

Great atmosphere, staff were super friendly and polite and the music was mellow and at a good volume. The sandwich I had was absolutely amazing, coffees are a little small but that's London - mine tasted great. The decor is super tasteful, well curated art on the walls from local illustrators etc. I rate this place highly, probably the best cafe in south London, if not the whole of London.

We went for breakfast and our preferred choice were out (croissants) to which we were offered no other suggestion and they were out of all boxes. The sandwiches we ended up taking were delicious and the coffee is always great, though unfortunately customer service does not seem to be included in the quite hefty price

I absolutely love this place and the staff! They're friendly, chatty, make great coffee and always welcome you with a smile. Camberwell didn't have anywhere decent to drink coffee before these guys opened and I'm so glad they have. We've been going here since the day they opened and have never once had a bad experience. I always pop in for a piccolo then a filter coffee. Hungover? Try the grilled cheese. Ahh-mazing. I'm a massive coffee snob but this place is brilliant. I also go in here to get my beans for home. They let me wheel my bike in when it's not too busy and I love sitting in the window watching the world go by. Lovely people and great coffee.

I wanted to go across the street to Cafe Noir where it's a lot friendlier. Good coffee, a bit on the small side if I'mhonest. Nice and hot....my pet hate is getting coffee that can be drunk in one mouthful. Could be friendlier ....maybe Minot COOL enough, but the guy was not rude, but you can see they have their favourites. They are much friendlier across the street. Awful music! Look around you guys.....play music for your customers not for you!

I agree with Sophie L's review. Daily Goods does good coffee and nice sandwiches as well, but on my visits the staff have not been friendly. For example, I went in very recently and was served by a young bearded man who seemed immediately irritated by me because I took longer than 7 seconds to order my coffee and sandwich. There then followed an awkward sequence of unsmiling and passive aggressive so-called 'customer service' which made me want to beat this young man repeatedly about the head for his rudeness. My message to some of the staff here is that they really shouldn't work in the customer service industry if they display overt hatred towards their customers. Just smile! Be nice! It doesn't hurt and it may even make your customers return.

awful service and overpriced coffee (2.60 for a flat white the size of a pea). trying to be something it's not when the most important thing running a business/coffee shop is to be friendly (which it most certainly isn't) devoid of soul and character. I wanted to try something different from Love Walk and I definitely won't be going back to Daily Goods again....

Good coffee that is always consistently good and the cheese toasties with the mustard are my favourite but the staff are not very warm. If they walked the floor once in a while clearing dirty plates and asking customers if the wanted another coffee I bet their profits would go up a lot!

I have been going in here since it opened as its round the corner from me. They do make great coffee but its a bit overpriced. The guy that owns it is fab but unfortunately hes not there to often and instead we get the grumpy , rude , never smiling , I'd rather be doing something else than serving you , staff . Its very depressing and I have been forced elsewhere.

Love this place cause it cosy, its local and inviting. Yet was disappointed to pay £2.50 for a TAKEAWAY almond croissant...! In Camberwell? Pretty shocking, no takeaway prices. Will go to Cafe Florence or Love Walk for croissants as they start at 80p /£1 for takeaway...

Walked passed this café on my way to a business meeting and then checked my watch to see I had 30 minutes to spare. I doubled back to get a better look at this inviting café.I stepped inside to a rather minimalist sort of place but it looked clean and sharp. The two staff members - possibly the owners, provided a very warm service. I had a flat white coffee and a toasted croissant - both very well prepared and tasty. They seem to know their coffee and the clientele looked to be the upwardly young mobile sort who would appreciate that knowledge so don't let that put you off - LOL. There were tasting note sheets for the coffee too. Not seen that before. In the fight to establish a coffee place different from the Starbucks and Costas of this world Daily Goods has succeeded. Please give it a try. I shall be back when I am in the area again.

I had an unpleasant experience at Bar 31 on 18/10/2024. I went there to meet my friend and was waiting for her to finish her work so we could enjoy some drinks . So I took a sit to make sure my friend see where I’m as later we planned to move inside. A lady in a red outfit approached me to ask if I wanted any drinks. I explained that I was waiting for my friend. However, after 20 minutes, she returned and told me that I couldn't sit there without ordering something. I replied that I wouldn’t be drinking anything until my friend arrived. She then gave me a look that made me feel unwelcome, so I decided to wait for my friend outside. We eventually went to another bar, which was a much better experience. Never come back there and wont recommend on my social media.

Wonderful service. Perfect work atmosphere. The quiet rustle of trains above my head was the wind beneath my wings as I trekked through the working day. Cheeky wine at lunch (don’t tell the boss!) had my buzzing. The friendly staff behind the counter had me feeling welcome and seen - they complimented my wolf cut! Good bit of banter that. Just off a tangent from the high street is a lovely location. Not too busy but enough wandering souls and stories to reinforce the sense of community. Sometimes whenlife quietens down i’m reminded of the lonely nights i endured when my brother ran away with my husband back to Panama. So that’s a bonus! Overall, great time would recommend and will be returning. P.s. tuna melt was a bit dense laid down a brick, would personally give it 3-5 working days.

Early evening light Pre- Festival Hall meal, so none of us (4 persons) wanted anything too heavy. This was just right. Tasty food served with a smile
