Daily Brews in Shropshire

Lovely little coffee shop, clean and friendly! The coffee is beautiful, and it’s one of the nicest and independent coffee shops in town, all the cakes are home made I had a carrot cake, it was very nice. I would recommend this place if you need a decent coffee.

During a torrential rain storm we arrived on the park and ride bus with our very elderly dog and as total strangers to Shrewsbury we happened upon this cafe. The staff were friendly, the dog was allowed in and the coffee was very good. We liked it so much we went back in the afternoon for tea and cake.

We are not great fans of the large high street coffee chains and so were pleased / surprised / amused to see this little independent coffee shop located right next door to one of them! Quite a small space, nicely decorated, easy and comfortable with a large, high counter, glass fronted and full of the most delicious looking cakes and pastries. The coffee was well made and tasty. My other half had a serving of banana cake, moist and light and full of flavour. A busy, convivial atmosphere and SO much more of an experience than those high street giants. Would thoroughly recommend.

Called in here for the first time visiting Shrewsbury. Glad we did so, as we almost went into the famous named coffee shop next door. Daily Brews baked thee most delicious cakes. We had banana bread & sliced tea loaf. The staff are friendly, extremely helpful and the coffees were super tasty. The decor is fabulous and stylish. The music was splendid such wonderful and easy listening! Toilets are clean, quality products and hand towels. I would highly recommend this adorable coffee shop / cafe ( cafe: as they serve all day breakfast too)

Called in on wander round the city, as needed a rest and some caffeine and energy. Good location on central square with some outside seating ( it's situated right next to a chain coffee store, I always like to try an independent place when I can and in this case was easy as several empty tables outside.) The coffee and service didn't disappoint, the brownie was OK, the walnut cake was very dry. Would I return maybe but not for the cakes

Absolutely AWFUL!!! We arrived at around 13:30 to be told the kitchen was closed so they can 'catch up' (the place was practically empty) and to come back in 20 minutes. There were two young members of very apathetic staff running the restaurant. We returned 30 minutes later. My partner ordered her food at the till, while I looked after our belongings at our table. On her return, I went to the till to order my own food. After waiting for nearly 5 minutes, my order was taken, to be told that the kitchen is now closed!!?? I asked, instead, for a sandwich from the counter, told be told "they've been out for a week and are only for show"! All, I got to enjoy, was the sight of my partner eating her lunch!! I would award 0/5 if it was possible!

I recently checked out this spot, and it was a great experience. The prices were fair and reasonable and the baristas were so friendly. Definitely recommending it for a great coffee experience!

I just called in for a coffee. The service was unexeptional. Just a youth who couldn't really care less. I specifically asked for just a splash of milk in my Americano and instead I got half a pint! It took forever too so I had time to peruse the overpriced cakes. £4.50 for a muffin!! oh...and no lids for takeaway so 3rd degree burns on the way out too. Cheers!

Situated close to the old Market Hall, we both had decaf coffee and it was great to have a really flavoursome cup. There was a good section of pastries, the white chocolate cookie was delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

Had the sumo breakfast. Everything tasted very good quality. Freshly squeezed oj, nice coffee oh and leffe or stella unfiltered on draught. Nice place, good staff quick service. 👍

Ordered our brunch at the cashier (two of the full English breakfasts) alongside drinks. Drinks didn’t come until the food arrived, which was disappointing. Food was even more disappointing - tasted bland and poor customer service. Very untidy and unclean - yellow sofas have seen better days and floor was very dirty. Wouldn’t recommend.

Called in for brunch, ordered the drinks, then chose off the menu, omelette, a vegetarian breakfast & a burger & fries. My veggie breakfast was ok, my friend said her omelette was really nice but the burger was dreadful! It was like rubber, absolutely no taste, I tried a piece but couldn't eat it, I don't know if it had been microwaved but no flavour or juice at all. Staff were ok, the yellow seats definitely need a clean, won't be returning.

Was looking forward to a nice breakfast but sadly disappointed. 3 staff members out front, two were very friendly, one looked grumpy. When she brought our breakfast over husband asked for sauce, she picked up a couple of sachets and threw them at us! We ordered poached egg on toast with additional sausage £7+£1.50. It came on one slice of toast, two poached eggs sprinkled with a lot of tumeric is my guess and a burnt sausage. Over priced and not very tasty. I can't say that we would return unfortunately. Maybe we just visited on a bad day.

Delicious breakfast & excellent service. The eggs were 100% free range and cooked to perfection. Freshly squeezed orange juice was beautiful. We will definitely visit again when in the area.

Superb food! We were visiting Shrewsbury and wanted to support a local place for lunch and randomly ended up here, and I’m so glad we did. My husband had a fantastic burger and the best fries I’ve ever tried. I had the pancakes which were delicious. Coffee was great. Wished we lived closer so I could try everything on offer!

Having a day visit to Shrewsbury we went to the Daily Brews for morning coffee and cake to start our day out, as it was recommended by a local. Great coffee, superb carrot cake and baked cheesecake. Excellent service and a great ambiance. Loved the yellow and black decor. We enjoyed our experience so much we came back later for more cake and coffee and yet again to finish our day with a cup of tea before we set off home. I would definitely recommend the Daily Brews. The cakes are made in house and were so good. We will visit Shrewsbury again and it will definitely be our go to place right in the centre of town.

Amazing coffee and cakes, the staff are extremely friendly and the price is very good for the amazing products you get from it. If I ever pop to Shrewsbury again and I certainly hope to do so) I will visit here again.

Lots of stuff doing very little. Staff that were working came across as rude, it took 20 minutes for two coffees and hot chocolate to be served. What’s the point in having things on (live music) when you can’t cater for the people it brings in? I dread to think what service will be like later in the day when it gets busy

There are lots of Starbucks in the world, including the one next door to the daily brews. Skip the Starbucks & come to this lovely place. It does beers too: another thing Starbucks doesn’t have.

My wife and I are regularly in the town centre on a Saturday morning enjoying various breakfast establishments. Of all the restaurants we have eaten at I think this is currently the best! The Sumo is amazing and was cooked as requested and represents incredible value for money. Two fried eggs, two rashers of bacon, a sausage, a field mushroom, cherry tomatoes, two hash browns, baked beans with sourdough toast. BRAVO! I also had a really hot first class latte. All complimented by super service from Flo & Hayley! Just a tip for the management please, make sure you have enough to change for cash customers. Also the yellow seating (which I love) is quite dirty in many places.
