Daddio's in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Ordered a large selection of different kebabs, chips and sides, which turned up promptly and piping hot. Food was delicious and generous serving. One chips was missed but they immediately delivered a replacement and everyone was polite and very helpful. Top marks! Have ordered several times before and will continue to order for the foreseeable future. Thank you.

Used to get food here pretty much every week for 3 or 4 people. Food has always been very good but today I asked for a pot of chilli sauce separate as don't like it drenched all over my food. Sauce turned up with a note on saying next time I need to pay for the sauce! But u don't have to pay if u want ur food swimming in it?? Very disappointed as I'm a very regular customer.

Large kebab with chips- definitely very small portion, old salad, meat not cooked well. Not recommended.

Nice food and staff are very polite.... Had a few items from here over the last 2 years and keep comming back so must be good. Parking outside is difficult as its on a narrow and steep hill {Pike Street) however car park is just around the corner at bottom of the hill. Place looks nice and clean, Finally they only take cash in the time I have been going and thats not a problem for me but may be if you were intending to pay by card and have to go back to the cash machine

Never had a problem with the food here, it's always great. Staff are really polite and friendly. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Not good takeaway at all!!! The meat was chewy and hard and tasted old. The chips were cold and soggy and the chicken nuggets tasted very old and re fried multiple times!! Very disappointing and wouldn’t order again. Certainly not worth the money

Not great at all. Having checked they delivered to our holiday bungalow just two miles from Liskeard, and with a menu that said they took cards, we ordered our food. Ten minutes later got a call to say they didn't deliver that far out and didn't take cards. So we ordered from a well known national company with no problem. Had been trying to support local independents, but.....

Very disappointed with strate in the bin never again. Not at all we have alway had food from here it's been ok and till now.

My partner got a take away from here but wasn't listened to when ordering. So on delivery it had coleslaw. Which ruined her meal, as she can't stand coleslaw. Very Poor customer service !!

I ordered a takeaway from here 9 inch munch boxes. Before I could ask for no coleslaw I was hung up on! When it arrived the coleslaw was all over my salad, completely put me off .

Very expensive. 9 pounds for a burger. Nice but not 9 pounds nice. Chicken donner is good, large portion. I think it'd high end prices but average food. It's OK but that's the point, it's OK.

Piece of pitta with five dried out bits of chicken on it dumped on top with a tablespoon of coleslaw in a corner with 1 slice of cucumber and 1 slice tomato. No sauce. Tastelrss and dry. Never again for any of these kebabis round here.

Been staying in Liskeard for almost a week and had takeaway from here twice. The kebab - donnor meat and chicken shish is lovely. Not spicy as some are. Chips are amazing, cooked fresh and recooked. The pizzas are fab, very light base and tasty fillings. Sure we'll be back for another before we head home. Thank you

Moved to Liskeard a week ago, last Saturday tried this kebab shop disappointed to find that they charge for the salad to be wrapped separately I Don't mind paying for the carton but to pay for the salad twice is an absolute rip off.

Ordered for 9:00 - 9:15 rang up and asked, was told they were waiting for a delivery driver to get back and that they would 'start cooking my food now' ...unbelievable. will not be ordering again.

Charge nearly £6 for a single beef burger then you don't get hardly any salad on it when selected!!! Just money money money people just cafe about how horrendous

I moved to area last year. We don’t have kebabs regularly as they are a treat but had tried other Kebab shop and were disappointed. Decided last night to try here and had a fabulous kebab. Asked for a a lamb meat and finer and it was great. Plenty of meat and not too much onion and salad as some do. Salad by side which I prefer as I can then eat together otherwise you have all salad then all meat underneath. For me it will be my first call. Even better than where I used to live so not just comparing against local competition. Well done snd friendly and helpful people . 😊

These guys make the worst kababs I have had anywhere! They can't even put the salad on the kabab! It's always under everything, squashed and a really measly amount. There's a much better Kababs to be had.

Really delicious food at a good price and they deliver. Delivery drivers are really friendly. They need to get a new card machine though. Then all would be fantastic 🙂🙂

I think it's called the house special burger. Bacon and cheese with burger and Donna meat. Goes down well with sweet chilli and garlic mayonnaise sauce. You won't be sorry

No one seems to be able to pick up a phone- it’s a very simple task so Christ only knows how they cook a meal adequately though I have heard that’s hard pushed there too!! It was 10pm on a Saturday night, I can understand they may be busy but after multiple phone calls I do expect someone to pick up hey ho! Best Kebab it is

Everything was over cooked and hard meat bread when you pay over the odds should be nice the other kebab called the best kebab is better

We were told our food would take 45mins. After 1 hour and 30 minutes we called and they told us it was just about to leave and will be 20 mins, after 2 hours we called again and the food still had not left. Really disappointed.

Sorry. Just lost my business Driver was incompetent swore at neighbour. Chips arrived like they were fresh out of the frozen food packet and shown a little bit of heat to defrost them. Dominoes next time.

Popped in for a kebab. Asked the staff if it was cooked to order, informed yes. I asked why the kebab wasn't on and revolving ready to slice, thats because its sat hot in a silver pot. So I asked again is this cooked to order.. again informed yes. I left as this was false. What a joke. Would not recommend as who knows how long that's been sat there, more worrying to think that they would tell me cooked to order. I could give myself an upset stomach for a lot less money

We ordered pizza online, were quoted 7-7:15pm arrival, no updates on the online “getting ready” status que just said “order placed” the entire time. We called multiple times to try to check on the status, and were consistently lied to about it “leaving just now”, then “the delivery driver broke down”. When the driver finally showed up with the pizza he was the most rude, disrespectful person yelling at us saying how it wasn’t his fault and he proceeded to rev his engine loudly and skidded his tires leaving the drive. UNBELIEVABLY UNPROFESSIONAL!

Over £45 for 3 medium size pizzas and an extra £1 for delivery. Very expensive for what it was, nothing special and certainly not great value for money

Didn’t know what to eat so looked through the menu and chose a burger and chicken and donor meat and salad! Very glad we did it was delicious! Very tasty and well worth the very short wait for delivery

Daddio's used to be really good. There was so much on the menu to choose from and really good food. But it has gone down hill over the year since changing owner twice (I was told by staff theres a new owner again) The removed their pasta dishes from their menu. Now it's just one more kabab shop and pizza shop (we already have several) There's nothing special to set it apart from other take away restaurants in liskeard. I used to be a regular. Not anymore.

They are good. foods good they removed one of my favourite items (carbonara) off the menu. fast delivery, nice staff but they never respond to any emails or messages you have to ring them to make a complaint or ask a question, but apart from that they are good

called for a delivery, live within three miles for the free delivery if you spend over £15.00 and then was told there is a new menu coming out and there is a charge/fee on all deliveries from now, nowhere does it state this in the menu or contacts so had to cancell order .... they really need to update and keep their customers on side, wont recommend and will not pay additional delivery when i live in the same town, then asked for a manger to be told there isn't one....mmm great one lost sale then

Ordered my food said up to an hour..... 1 hour 30 mins later still no food never experienced this before and not even a phone call for an update! Not happy !!

The only place that I know that can make 2000% profit on each slice of cake sold. Daddios you honestly need to consider the price you charge v the portion the customer gets. Ripping people off doesn'tget repeat orders.

Firstly, I’d like to start with the main positive - that the food was delicious, can’t fault it. We ordered pizza, garlic bread and cheesy chips and were delighted. Thank you Daddios :)My one negative was that we were told that the only payment option was by cash at the door. Due to the lockdown and the social distancing rules, I was surprised by this. When the driver came to our door, I was also quite surprised that they were not wearing gloves, a mask or anything of the sort. We have a young baby and have been adhering to all the social distancing rules to do our bit to protect ourselves and others, and this just shocked me. Sorry for the negative, but I felt that I should write something so that it forewarns others so they aren’t caught unawares like we were. As I said, can’t fault the food and it was an enjoyable takeaway.

Ordered a pizza chips coleslaw and salad absolutly excellent food and a great find during lockdown, great Saturday night meal made up for not going out.

We were lucky to win a family deal in a raffle, it was our first experience of Daddios and we will definitely use them again great choice and excellently cooked very tasty all round good food

They take great care over the quality and cooking of the food. Fresh meat, chilli sauce and homemade coleslaw. I often eat the lamb shish and it's delicious. Highly recommend it.

Liskeard is a small town with little choice of takeaway. Daddios has brought old traditions and appreciate thier customer and try to accommodate where the other choice in town for a kebab do not. Apart from too much cheese on cheesy chips I have no complaint and thank the manager for their service as well as the staff who are very polite and respectful.

Had a Pizza and had it delivered , great service and arrived in approx 35 minutes from ordering it .

I do like daddios, good service, good delivery, but I feel the for value for money it isn’t that great. Feel you really don’t get your money’s worth. Plus you have to spend £15 or more for delivery which also isn’t great. If these changes was made I feel it could a lot better

Hi holls, fancyed a kabab .. yum-yum...

Have been waiting nearly 3 hours for delivery, 1 and a half hours ago I received a phone call saying it would be 20 minutes. Called them and they. Said it left ten minutes ago at hour number 2. They lie to you on the phone and offer you a "free" meal that you've already paid for, but it's ok because the next order ( which won't happen ) won't be charged. My advice is avoid like the plague!!!!

Pizzas, chips, onion rings, slaw, all arrived as ordered 15mins earlier than expected to a location outside of their normal radius! Was hot an delicious on arrival, the only time it was substandard, cold and stodgy was once it had been left overnight! No complaints here 👍

Don't bother to call for a takeaway. The guy on the phone had no idea what a meze was. They had no chicken and when I told him that a meze was a Turkish starter he had to go and ask someone if they had any. USELESS

Tried this place. Asked for a kebab. Was not offered choice - large or small- just charged for large. The lamb was stone cold. The bread was inside the sandwich and the meat and salad outside. Isn’t the bread supposed to be outside so you can pick it up? Put it straight in the bin.I tried it for you. Don’t go.

Tried Daddios takeaway for the first time, telephone order for collection, ready on time. Really good large chicken Shish kebab, lovely crispy chips and best chili sauce (asked for separately in a pot so we could put on to taste) had for a long time. Only down side not enough salad, rather like a garnish than a salad as we like quite a nice bit of salad with a chicken kebab. Very clean takeaway with toilets too :), will definitely visit again

Good food but lacking in atmosphere and missing the little touches like providing a bread basket or nibbles.

Order took just over an hour to arrive but the wait was worth it. The pizzas were really tasty and the homemade coleslaw nice and fresh as was the side salad. Chips could have been a bit crispier but they are tricky to pack and transport without going a bit limp.A pity that some of the Turkish food served in the restaurant isn't on the menu now it has changed to a takeaway as it was delicious.
