Cyprus Mangal in City of London, Westminster

It is a place that represents very well what a Turkish business would be like. It is a meticulous business, from the staff's clothing and service to the preparation of the products. The portions are very filling and appeal first to the eyes and then to the palate. The doner kebab and chicken wings were delicious, and the Turkish coffee we drank afterwards completed our pleasure. Thank you, congratulations, I wish you good work and customers.

Recientemente descubrí Chipre Mangal mientras me alojé en la zona por un par de noches, y fue una joya absoluta! El servicio era absolutamente fantástico; el personal era increíblemente amable y servicial, asegurándose de que nada era demasiado problema. Opté por la moussaka de cordero, que era realmente increíble, sabrosa y cocinada a la perfección. Recomiendo Chipre Mangal por su ambiente cálido y cocina excepcional. Es una visita obligada para cualquiera que busque auténtica comida turca en Pimlico!

We went with my wife 2 days ago. They showed Turkish hospitality at its best right at the entrance. Very polite and respectful. The food was really good. We ate at many places in London, but I think this is the best Turkish restaurant to eat at. With its presentation, taste and cleanliness, it is a very decent environment to dine as a family. You don't need to look elsewhere. I recommend the mixed kebab, doner and kunefe. May God bless your path, I hope you earn more.

Today we went with my wife, the welcome was friendly, they were all very good, we ate mixed kebabs and doner kebab, the flavors and presentation were amazing, we felt like we were at home in Turkey, the künefe is amazing, definitely try it, the atmosphere of the place is very nice, the music is also very nice, I congratulate all the staff, every penny you get is well done, do not look for another place in London. Estaba tranquilo a las 1600, pero eso no duró mucho, ya que la gente seguía viniendo. Hacía mucho calor por dentro, lo cual era bueno ya que estaba aullando por fuera. Empecé con los champiñones al ajo (deliciosa) luego la parrilla mixta (karisik) ? luego el queso frito con helado (soooo dulce pero precioso) con una botella de vino tinto turco luego café turco. Tan lleno que llevé cargas a casa y acabo de terminar todo. Me encanta este lugar. Nunca me apresuro a salir, ya que soy un comedor lento. La factura era de 64 libras. Pero puedes comer por mucho menos. Adelante, inténtalo y disfrutarás. ¡Come bebida y se alegre! Nos vemos en el nuevo año xx

We had our Christmas lunch in this restaurant. Had a mix of cold and hot starters and I had the vegetable moussaka. Everything was tasty.

We had our annual Christmas party here on Saturday just gone and it was amazing!! The service was fantastic, the food portions, quality and price was unreal! All of our party loved the food and the team that served us! Byron and his colleague were attentive, accommodating and got involved with our Christmas Party which made it even better!! Would 1000 times recommend Cyprus Mangal and would definitely host our Christmas party here yearly if they'll have us!!

Excellent food! Didn't get a chance to take a picture of the hot starters as we demolished them quite quickly, but I recommend it as well. The kofte were soft and juicy, flavor was on point, and the service was impeccable. We booked a table ahead of time, and glad we did! This place can get busy fast. I would definitely recommend, and they are on my list to return!

Third time I return to this restaurant. The chicken in yoghurt, the halloumi cheese and also the desserts are very good. Staff beyond kindness. Super!

Easy to find, really friendly staff and the food is fantastic. I've been coming here for about 6 years and it's my favourite Turkish restaurant in London - the mezze starters are brilliant, best humous and falafel going, and all of the chargrilled meat is amazing. There's a great menu, the sharing plates are fantastic and whatever you pick, you can't go wrong. But be warned, the portions are huge! If I lived closer I'd be in there every week!

I've been two years in a row when on a business trip. The first year we found the place by chance but this year we wanted to go back. Really top atmosphere (but don't sit downstairs unless you want quiet), attentive staff and to me it feels like you're getting an authentic experience. Reasonably priced, extremely good food. My photos show the sharing menu that 4 of us shared. We left happy and very full after the meal and beers. Hopefully we will be back again soon!!

Hoy era nuestro último día en Londres y mi pareja y yo estábamos buscando un Turco, ya que en nuestro último viaje a Liverpool nos encantó. Encontramos muchas recomendaciones y este estaba entre los primeros 10; pero después de nuestra experiencia y si fuese por nosotros lo pondríamos primero en la lista. Se encuentra a unos 10 min de Victoria Station (una de las estaciones de autobuses y metro principales) en un barrio no muy lujoso pero donde sin duda es el mejor local con diferencia. La mayoría de los demás restaurantes estaban vacíos, y este estaba lleno; desde que entramos hasta que nos fuimos. Al principio teníamos dudas de si iba a tener mesas dentro, ya que en las reseñas no vimos fotos solamente de la parrilla; para después darnos cuenta que esa es solo una parte y después está el restaurante como tal y a parte también tienes una pequeña terraza con mesas. Nosotros nos sentamos dentro. A pesar de no hablar bien el idioma y de tardar más de lo esperado en decidirnos por lo que pedir, el camarero que nos ha atendido ha estado muy atento, paciente y amable e incluso nos ayudó y nos recomendó según lo que habíamos consumido anteriormente. Finalmente pedimos Chicken shish y Lamb shish con su correspondiente arroz y verdura. Simplemente delicioso! La mejor comida en todo nuestro viaje a Londres. La atención inmejorable!!! Desde el primer minuto hasta el último, el señor de la camisa blanca proveniente de Chipre, que para nosotros, o era el encargado o era el dueño, ha sido un excelente anfitrión. Otro punto a destacar que nos encantó y valoramos mucho, es que no incluyeran la propina en el precio final, sino que nos dieran varias opciones del porcentaje de propina que queríamos ofrecer. Sin duda recomendadísimo este sitio! Es un 10 por donde lo mires! Gracias por la experiencia culinaria de hoy!

The price ranges from medium to expensive, and as usual for the Turks, there must be a commission. The withdrawal machine offers you and it has options for the amount of the tip. This is the first time I see this machine.

The rice-to-salad ratio is poor, and the prices are exorbitant when considering the portions. The lamb ribs barely had meat on them, and if they did, one bite and you're done with it. The bread, which we hardly got any of, clearly wasn’t fresh; it was as if it was sitting in the open for a while and then popped into the microwave. The napkins weren't clean. Staff were giving us contradicting directives. We spent quite a lot of money and left feeling hungry. Needless to say, I won't be coming back.

Everything is fresh. Tried the baba ganoush which I didn't have before. Mains were great. I love the kanefe. Good drinks. Staff friendly and professional. We have been coming to Cyprus Mangal for 20 years now. It used to be a small takeaway, but the food was so good that they expanded into a proper restaurant. I love the chicken donor. Others order the lamb shish and the Cyprus Mangal Specialty. Everyone had a great meal and there were 7 of us. Beers were cold, service was attentive, food was delicious. Highly Recommended!!!

Chose this restaurant as this is not the type of cuisine we have locally and it did not disappoint. I had the vegetarian moussaka which was light and tasteful.

Good standard of food - only small points would be that the chicken shish was dry, and the bulgur was a bit bland and undercooked. Excellent, friendly service. Will visit again.

We ordered a takeaway from here . It was very late (after half 11) . Had a lamb kebab and chips and my partner had chicken kebe and chips . Real meat kebabs not like ones you get in a chippy. They were both beautiful. Even the salad was delicious . Because it was so late it was quite limited to what was left but it was stunning. I would love to try the restaurant next time I'm in London.

One of the worst kebabs I’ve had. Ordered a large mixed doner kebab, portion size came out small. The lamb doner was so fatty all I could taste was fat and was chewy, the chicken side of the it was burnt pieces. Struggled to eat it and did not enjoy it at all. I tried the lunch menu which allows a starter and a main, both a choice of several options and at a great price. The food is delicious and in generous portions, I can absolutely recommend the chicken shish. The restaurant is very well decorated, with good background music, and attentive and efficient staff. A fantastic experience.

Excellent meat and delicious rice with chilli. Remarkable beer. The only flaw is the staff: the waiter who spoke Italian, after I had asked him to wait twice because he was busy with an important phone call, no longer paid us a glance and we had to turn to other waiters. Small lapse in style that prevents the awarding of the fifth star, abstractly deserving for the quality of the food.

The most stingy with their meals while it is very expensive I can post a picture of my meat and chips barely covers half of the container which it came in but there's is choice here
