It's situated in the middle of Bridport with plenty of parking nearby . It is convenient to the harbour and antique centre . however, it is a pleasant place to sit in but not ideal for a business meeting. The menu is limited but OK for a quick snack

I visited the cafe on a recent family holiday to the South West. The cafe was in a great little spot located within the courtyard area of the Customs House. The cafe had a lovely interior and set up offering both food and drink as well as a number of good value furniture and interior items for sale. Upon entering the cafe, I received a friendly service from one of the waiters when I went up to order. I ordered lattes for myself and my husband and hot chocolates for my children and a number of fish and chips portions for us all to share. The lattes were excellent and surpass many that I’ve had in big chains like Costa. The kids loved the hot chocolates - especially the generous portion of whipped cream and marshmallows! The fish and chips were absolutely delicious and I can honestly say that they were the best I’ve had in a long time. The staff delivering the food was very friendly and engaged in conversation with us, taking an interest in our visit to the South West from Kent. I had a great experience at the cafe and would highly recommend it. The food and drink is great and the prices are very reasonable compared to other establishments.

Plenty of space with a cheap and cheerful food selection. It has the added interest of being in the old custom hose complex with its variety of bric-a-brac type shops. Also must not forget the car park is next door

The “gourmet burger” was anything but…however, I guess “over-cooked, poor quality burger” does not market very well. The chips were very dry and left uneaten.

We had to wait until they opened at 9.30am but we could build our own breakfast which was useful for our young grandson. Coffees were over filled in their cups which is offputting as well as messy, Breakfast was OK but presentation was nothing special. The one loo available was tacky and dark to reach. Food seemed expensive in comparison to other cafes we've visited. Staff were helpful but as there were only 2 there I wondered how they'd cope with larger groups

We stopped here on our last day in West bay and it was a great find. It's situated next to the beach in a little courtyard area with trade stalls and a tiki bar. The food is lovely. We had a meat pizza which was delicious and the kids had sandwiches which they wolfed down. All reasonably priced. A great place to stop for lunch. Just keep your whits about you with the seagulls about. They only need you to look away for a second and they're in.

We visited this cafe on a very wet weekday in May, so it was not very busy. The cheerful chap at the till was very efficient and the egg mayo sandwich I enjoyed was lovely. However, the decor here is somewhat unusual, to say the least. Many of the tables and seats here have prices on and are available for purchase, making me wonder if someone was going to want to buy our seat whilst we were dining! Thankfully this did not happen and we were able to remain at the same table throughout.

Great Fish and chips . Don’t take cash .It is legal tender in UK ,why not? Lunch atmosphere ruined by screeching loud vocalist. Could not hold conversation with friend . Would have thought in such a place as Poundbury grand piano and smooth music would be more appropriate or something similar . Couple on next table were like minded .They could not speak either

A nice local Costa. Brilliant on point service with many smiles and a lovely quiet atmosphere. Can't score the food as I didn't order any. But it's the usual Costa food tastes. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Very disappointed with some meals.Fish pie was good. Roast lamb was tough. Plaice was nice but very small. Vegetables were just boring boiled. Staff were friendly, speed of service was good. A nice log fire too. We will not return due to the food

Since my last review on Costa Coffee, Copper Street, Brewery Square, Dorchester the management has changed. The Store Manager there at the moment isn’t nothing like the last one. She has been late several times wen she is supposed to be there on time, turns up wen she feels like it, relies on other members of staff to do her job for her, cuts staff hours, gets members of staff to train trainees wen she should be doing it. If, she’s not committed to do her job properly, she shouldn’t be the Store Manager. Bring in someone who interacts with the customers, friendly, and invites the customers back. Very disappointed in Costa this time round, the Area Manager should consider the next Store Manager.
