Just had an absolutely fantastic meal here. Service was outstanding, wanted a spicer than normal curry and listened to exactly what I wanted and it was perfect. Food and service was top notch! Would definitely recommend anyone to come here!

Update on a 5⭐️ review. Recently had a takeaway delivered where I'd ordered chicken tikka masala and chicken korma. The tikka masala was deep red and tasted the rat same as the korma. Had the same texture. They'd used the korma and put red food colouring in for a guess. Not what we were expecting. It was a disappointment for the price. Won't be using this year for the wider family outing unfortunately. We'll go elsewhere.

I just had to write this review. The curry i had the exotica was the by far the best curry i have ever tasted i have loved curry from a very early age i have had curry's in london in berlin amongst many other cities and this curry was no1 in my eyes. Not only was the curry excellent but the staff was as well you can tell this business is not just a business but a passion too also the price was a shock i expected to pay double what i did. This meal was so important because it was a thank you for the support my friend gives me so thank you curry lounge i will be back

First time to an Indian restaurant. Usually Chinese!!! Went with daughter and son in law who highly recommended it. We were blown away with the quality of the food, the staff who were so friendly, and the whole ambience. We were advised on certain dishes and they were prepared to our taste Will certainly be returning and can highly recommend

The staff were beyond amazing! They are so genuinely polite and happy to accommodate anything you need. The food is sensational! It’s very easy to order too much, but the staff very happy provide takeaway containers for you to pack up your food, or they’ll pack it up for you. Cannot recommend this place enough, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

We are very regular food was delicious and great services but the owner didn’t give tips to staff my husband told to curry lounge boss when he came to get the bill it’s a law owner you can’t steal the tips from your staff it’s sad

Poor quality for a change, didn’t get waht I ordered was given something completely different, tried to call to complain but had the phone put down on me instead .. poor service and poor quality.. Shame as normally very high quality and one of my favourite places but this was a really bad experience and I’ll think twice before ordering again

Well were do you start, from being greeted with smiles, courteously shown to our table, the waiter went through the menu and we decided on the banquet 4 course, it was fantastic from the poppadoms and 5 different pickles, 2 different curry's rice and nan, then ice-cream, all was delicious and fantastic value for money, oh and you can take your own alcohol. Out of 10 I would personally give it a 15 fantastic place looked after like royalty and we’ll be back soon. Thank you.

I have been coming to the Curry Lounge for over a year now, the food is always delicious, and they can do any dish at whatever strength you prefer. The staff are always helpful and polite. The restaurant is clean and bright. If you are looking for a good Indian restaurant you need to try this one! It never disappoints!

First off - Order delayed, order delivered late and missing items. Called the vendor, accepted fault offered an extra item, accepted…. 30 minutes passed - no missing order items arrived - requested refund. Sad really - usually a good place to order food from.

Predicted arrival 1715. Tracker said food delivered 1725. No food. Rang the restaurant, said it was out for delivery and was moments away. Rang 10 minutes later, they rang the driver. Told a few minutes away. Arrived at 1800. Missing items.

Good curry house,house specials and standard curries, very helpful and attentive staff. Bring your own alcohol ,nipped into the COOP just across the car park. All-in all an enjoyable meal.

Starters were amazing. The Purri has so much flavour. However, the butter chicken was bland. Chicken pieces in a sweet coconut milk. Was milder than a korma. Maybe wrong curry was sent?

Amazing places for family party we have booked a table for 20 people online nice and easy to make a reservation online nice decorated inside the restaurant and beautiful place for large families this is the only one we found in the area you can try if you don’t believe it the chicken tikka madras was amazing taste delicious 😋 very clean and tidy excellent service friendly staff thank you curry lounge for looking after us definitely we will be back again best restaurant in the Alfreton 😊😉

Food: Love the food here, my favourite curry house in the area Service: Always place an order online and pay by card when I get there. Not sure what has changed, but the waiter wanted me to go to the cash point and pay cash. I paid via the payment link that food hub text me whilst I was stood in front of him. Very rude, unhelpful and generally just being awkward at 22:00 at night after a long day (and month) at work. Atmosphere: there wasn’t one - it was dead

First takeaway tonight - wasn't disappointed. Couldn't pay through the app with my card - but as the staff advised, I will ring up in future. House Special Phal, Chilli and Cheese Nan and Tandoori Roti. Excellent. Really hit the spot. Looking forward to returning for both takeaway and restaurant meals.

Good curries we live nearby and always order curry from here their tikka masala is my favourite and the fried rice. The Naan bread is tough but not too bad. The Tupperware boxes are useful.

We've been here multiple times, our last visit was New Years Eve with family and friends, lovely food, always great service, consistent in every way, free parking, simple, casual place to eat and not too pricey either.

Always great tasty curries and very friendly service. We do the set meal and it works out really good value for money. Highly recommend! Easy to park and book online too.
