I had cheese in my tika butter chicken. Why and how did it get there. Thick layer of cheddar. Also the popadoms tasted burnt like the oil was burnt ?

We ordered 2 chicken dishes and 1 side with paneer cheese ‘Mottor Ponir’ a rice and 2 naan breads 1 of the two chicken dishes came with what seemed and tasted like a strong cheddar cheese grated and melted over the top in a thick layer The second was tasty but the chicken very try and no texture to the sauce at all The side dish was also covered in a thick layer of the same cheese with what I assume were chickpeas in a thin curry sauce and no paneer cheese at all The rice was okay as was the naan Overall, majority was inedible. This almost seemed like a joke. In the car home the overwhelming smell of cheese and curry was odd. However, after tasting it, even more strange. I’d like to assume this was a one of but I wouldn’t risk wasting your money here unless you have a love of mature cheddar on your tikka masala

We enjoyed a lovely meal last night. The food was delicious and the prices very good. Thankyou Curry King, we will definately be back . Highly recommend

I make a 50minute round trip to get food from Curry King, its that good , I fully recommend this to anyone whonlike good food.

Top Marks for this hidden gem in the Cotswolds. The food always tastes like it has been specially prepared- so much care goes into the preparation.

Really enjoyed this curry and would fully recommend. I would eat here over any Indian in Cirencester. Very well priced too.

After reading reviews we thought we would give it a try and we were not disappointed, we even had 2 takeaways in the space of a week. Very tasty and fresh meals, plenty of chicken in the curries and overall a very nice takeaway!

We ordered 3 main meals including rice sides naan breads and poppadoms, chutney & salad.The whole meal was hot and tasty. We all enjoyed it very much. The portions were generous and there was plenty of Chicken in our curries. We would definately recommend and be ordering again very soon

Estoy muy decepcionado de haber encontrado a Curry King solo la noche antes de regresar a casa. Fue absolutamente delicioso: el pollo al ajo tikka chilli masala fue probablemente el mejor curry para llevar que he probado. El tikka de pollo Achar también era excelente. Wir hatten heute Appetit auf indisches Essen. Die Auswahl war groß so dass wir 7 verschiedene Gerichte bestellten und mit nach Hause nahmen. Optisch sahen sie recht gut aus. Das war ein Trugschluss. Kein Geschmack, überkocht, verwässert. Letztlich haben wir probiert und dann alles in den Mülleimer gegeben. Jeder der indisches Essen kennt wird uns zustimmen.

Miah siempre se toma el tiempo de explicarte y ayudarte a decidir, incluso llega a permitirte probarla mientras se cocina para que pueda personalizarlo a tu gusto. He comido aquí muchas veces y parece que vuelvo por más.Este lugar ha existido desde que puedo recordar. Se encuentra frente al hotel Bull, a solo 25 o 30 pasos. Se abre a las 5 pm, así que si tienes ganas de almorzar, tendrás que esperar. Soy un gran fan del gran curry británico. Este fue uno de los mejores que he tenido en mucho tiempo. La única razón para el 4 estrellas es que los pagos con tarjeta no son una opción, lo que significa un viaje al cajero automático. Esto para mí en 2018 es pobre pero la comida y el servicio eran fantásticos

Great take -away. As the title says really. Good quality food at reasonable prices, they are always cheerful and helpful. Good place. (and you can have a pint in the pub opposite while your food is cooked!!

We were in fairford for the air tattoo decided to give it a try. The staff are very helpful and polite the curry was very good to and the cheese naan was to die for.

Fantastic food and fantastic staff. Whenever we get the chance to treat ourselves this is where we head to.

A local curry house for us, and so local we go for a cheeky beer whilst waiting. Freshly cooked, amazing choices from mild to extremely hot. A monthly delight for us.

I ordered chicken korma, onion bhaji and plain naan. The naan was huge! My order of onion bhaji had 4 golf ball sized pieces. I was very happy with them. The korma was a little on the sweet side. I know korma is very mild but I have never had it sweet. The chicken pieces in it were large and tender. The mint sauce was not great it tasted very artificially minty it lacked the herb flavor from the mint plant. I am gonna give it another go and try something different.

Our local takeaway and we love it! Peshwari naans are a speciality. Every curry we have had had been good. Friendly service. Speedy.

Curry King is all you need - family run, really friendly service, a varied menu that's all absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!!

Mi esposa y yo hemos tenido muchas comidas diferentes de aquí han sido sabroso y de buena calidad. El Balti es una de las preferidas por nosotros.

Het duurt wat langer als je je bestelling in dit afhaalrestaurant hebt geplaatst maar dan heb je ook wat. Echt lekker eten met alles erop en eraan. Heb zelden zulke lekkere gerechten bij een afhaalrestaurant gehad. Super en parkeren kan aan de overkant. Het ligt midden in Fairford.

I'd heard this takeaway was good but did not expect it to be that good! One of the best I've tasted in a very long time. Menu choice is extensive. We ordered during a peak period and had to wait a while but this merely shows how popular this place is. Whilst waiting you can see the food being cooked - and how they manage to meet the demand in such a tiny space is amazing.Will definitely visit again when in the area.

Good all round food and an excellent choice on the menu. Food is very good and friendly service. For a take out Resturant I would say that the food is very good and value for money.

I visited India several times, and was suprised to find that delicious taste on the english contrysite. Fabulios and highly recommended. Advise: listen to the menu advise of the "King" himself.

Use this Indian takeaway a lot and rarely disappointed. Miah always happy to advise and spice up or down your choice. Can be a touch slow when very busy but overall it's a good take away.

This is an average curry takeaway serving average food at average prices. That just about sums it up but please don't take that as a negative. Not everywhere needs to be out of this world. Sometimes you just want a good filling decent curry from a place that is on your doorstep. The Curry King is that place.

First of all, Mr Miah and his staff are always friendly and welcoming. Waiting time never exceeds 30 minutes even on a busy Friday or Saturday night. Our family have been using the takeaway for years and have never had a bad meal. Portion sizes are large, good quality ingredients and the menu gets updated from time to time. Personally my favourite dishes are Pathia, Dansak and Madras and at £5.50 for Chicken/Lamb, great value. Highly recommend it, we are fortunate to have a few local indian takeaways but Curry King's consistency and quality ensures we continue coming back!

Staying in a holiday cottage in Fairford and didn't fancy cooking every night (who does?) so popped in to Curry King for an easy takeaway. All the usual Indian takeaway menu favourites but many standard chicken or meat dishes at £5.50 each, which I thought was good value. I particularly enjoyed the lamb dansak (with lentils,, sweet and sour hot). Also decent size nan breads (£1.95) and reasonable size pilau rice (£2.25). Note - cash only (although there's a Lloyds cashpoint 2 minutes walk away).

Muttar Paneer is not a sickeningly sweet gloop of melted cheese and chick peas FFS. It is a dish of paneer cheese with green peas and spiced with garam masala. Hands down one of the most disgusting dishes I have been served in a restaurant or takeaway anywhere, let alone an Indian one. Utterly inedible and completely revolting. Who the hell thought chickpeas and cheddar were an acceptable substitution? Whoever is cooking has no palate whatsoever - or is just too damn lazy to taste their DISGUSTING foodThe mushroom rice had no salt or seasoning whatsoeverTarka dahl: the Tarka was just a puddle of unflavoured orange oil floating across the top of the dish. In fact there was no Tarka at all (fried spices added at end of cooking). And no sign of any spicing whatsoever bar all the salt that was missing from my mushroom rice. The dahl itself was thin and watery and not sufficiently cooked down.This is hands down the worst Indian meal I have ever had the misfortune to order. I wouldn't have minded if it was inauthentic (cheddar instead of paneer is a crime and lazy in the extreme) and edible but it wasn't. A complete waste of time and money.

Enjoyable curries, but nothing really special. It just lacks that little something extra that would make you get excited. Nothing wrong with it, if you are in Fairford and want to walk for a takeaway, go for it.

Just moved to the area and decided to try Curry King. Owner was very considerate and helpful, food was very good, with adequate portions. Prices were very reasonable. I shall go there again, and would recommend it to others.

Spent £36 on takeaway for 3. Got pots home. Full of sauce. Only 8 pieces of meat in each. Tasted nice though the tightness with the meat portion left a bad taste

This might sound like a bold statement - but I have been around and eaten curry in many locations - there is nowhere that beats Curry King - they are consistently good at everything that I have had from there.....

Coming from Birmingham I know a good curry when I have one, and this was a very good curry. Portion sizes are generous and food quality is excellent. For a takeaway this is one of the best I have visited. Having just moved to the area I will certainly be using again.

We stopped in at this take-out place and found an extensive menu, representing food from several Indian regions. The owner was very friendly and made sure that my dairy allergy was carefully addressed. The food was spot-on delicious.

Mr Miah, family and staff, look after us all the time. The meals are supberb, kkk is something special, and the new Chicken noblio ( probably spelt that wrong), wouldn't go anywhere else. Also good size portions and lovely friendly staff. Xx

Very average food, Chicken Tikka Masala was very sweet, too sweet. Nothing was spicy at all. Disappointed overall.

Have driven past this place on commute and finally grabbed a takeaway on the way home. Fantastic chicken madras, perfect heat. Rice portions of good size, was able to share with the kids. Cannot fault.
