Great evening tonight been going here for years and food amazing

First time to Janj and had a lovely meal excellent service and very surprised with 50% discount on a Saturday night which we didn’t know about although it was on the board outside.

Decided to eat here because it advertised 50% discount, and cheapskates that we are, decided to chance it. Well, we were amazed! Food was top notch, freshly cooked and very tasty! Waiter was wonderful with great sense of humour and service excellent. The only thing that left this restaurant short of perfect was lack of coffee machine and the cappuccino was out of a packet and grainy. That said, would thoroughly recommend and will definitely return!

Just had a most wonderful meal here to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food was tremendous. They had a special offer going on. Highly recommend!

Disappointed, ordered chops and rice deal. Chops were tasty but bit tough. Ordered strawberrytella waffle. Was nothing like the picture they have online. The one online is covered in strawberries with white chocolate. I got a soggy waffle with not one strawberry, smothered in a sweet strawberry syrup and chocolate sauce. I didn’t eat it. I’ve put a photo of what I got online.

Fantastic food, this has been our favourite Indian restaurant for over 15 years. The Dhansak is so tasty and the service is always great

Very disappointing. This is a curry house which now offers a 'gourmet burger', grilled chicken & fries menu. Unfortunately it was far from a gourmet style quality. Think chicken shop at inflated prices. Not good and ofc would not recommend.

Amazing place. Had chicken and rice - very tasty and fresh food. Owners welcoming and attentive. Will definitely be returning. Was given a side dish for free :). Highly recommend.

We ordered from the Curry House for the first time yesterday. we are both vegan. Everything was delicious and not too spicy. Would return :-)

Really nice takeaway meal today. Going to be honest, it was the only place open during the day so we took a chance and had no idea what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. Order arrived on time by a very friendly guy. Food was hot and very nice. Good size portions and the spice was just right. Really nice meal and would recommend.

I sat in and ordered a meal with others, food was good but a few bits were forgotten, however we did have a large order so we wasn’t to bothered. I also ordered food to takeaway for my family. I ordered a prawn dish along with few more, I checked the food when home only to realise that there was only 1 prawn in the whole dish. Very annoyed.

USUALLY BETTER THAN THIS. . ORDERED EARLY EVENING ..MUST HAVE GOT THE DREGS FROM NIGHT BEFORE.

Me and my mates hunt for indian restaurants that can make a curry spicy liko no other while still retaining the taste and this place has done it! Ate very spicy lamb curry with some Nans, had wonderful taste, lamb was juicy and tender, the souce was creamy rich with tomato and not with oils killing the taste. 5/5 highly recommend for anyone who likes tasty spicy food. Place was clean and cozy, staff professional.

Quality. I know. I am an expert!! First time last Saturday. Will now be our regular. Food is cooked exactly as I like. Plenty of it and delivered quickly. Highly recommended.

We ordered food yesterday evening, and it was very delicious and yummy.

I went here last weekend for the 1st time, with someone who had been before and recommended it. The staff were friendly and gave the right amount of time between ordering food and drinks. The food was wonderful - We all opted for the lamb chop starters which were very tasty. The mains of prawn and lamb dishes went down very well and the portion sizes were generous. My always 'go to' dish is saag aloo which defines a good restaurant to me. The spinach and potatoes were not overcooked and tasted delicious. Would definitely go here again

After a refurbishment this curry house is still my favourite staff are the same forever polite and kind. I will always be a loyal customer here.

First the Wimpey now The Curry House has closed forever. T'is a sad day for West Wickham, but I shall always have my memories... until I don't. 😢

The food is always good but unfortunately my evening was spoiled due to inconsiderate loud mouth customers on the next table who were very loud so my partner and I could not have a conversation as we could not hear each other speak. Not the 1st time either.

slow on delivery always late and food tends to be cold, we have ordered more than three times now and each time there has been something missing on the order and when you ring the restaurant to report it they say they will send the missing items along but they lie and tell you 5 mins and then it'll turn up 2 hrs later...this level of customer service is disgusting especially when you place a £30 plus order!! This will be the last time we order from this place as the curry was also very watery and tasteless. Not good and very disapointing. Dont waste your money here!

Came here with friends and family, there was 4 of us, the welcome was very friendly, service was fun and Nur dealt with our table, we had prawn pure starters, and special biryani for main, food taste amazing fresh and tasty, asked for the bill and whooping half price discount, such lovely place and people me and my friend Mus feel as regulars already. Deffo reccomended.

Great food. Ashiq Khan was an excellent host. Ask him for authentic bangal fish curry with green chilli. It was delicious so was the make your own Thali, plus 50% discount on Sunday made it good value. Go check it out!

We went to the Curry House as a group. We loved it! I had a lentil and lamb curry and it was fabulous! All meals were plentiful and very good value. Staff attentive. Would definitely go again if in the area. About 15pounds each. Very pleased.

My order was delivered 35 minutes late and was COLD. I rang the restaurant twice....they couldn't care less. I will never order from here again

They were over an hour late to deliver, lied to us twice regarding the order and the payment of it. I would not recommend you give them a go but if you do, pay cash to ensure they actually turn up and you don't waste your money. It's a real shame you can't give 0 stars!

The worst curry I've ever had in my life and want his with the food colouring in my mint sauce and the mango chutney and my red inside peshwari, tasteless curry

Walking past and saw the 50% off food on Sunday offer so in we went! I've been to many Indian restaurants from back street to fine dining and each decent place has its own charm for different occasions! The place two doors down was packed, but I saw the food through the window and it looked brightly coloured which puts me right off! This was less busy, unfussy service and the food was good - the coconut that comes with the popadums was a game changer for me, like a party in my mouth! So whilst not exquisite or modern - my overall experience for what it was couldn't have been better hence the rating! Will certainly be back another Sunday!

Brother in law and I went there one night for a meal, the staff were very friendly and the dishes we had were good, not excellent but acceptable. Got big dollop of butter with butter chicken first time I've encountered that .... wasn't happy about that though I said so to the waiter ... and I'm asian.

Food was tasty and delicious. Not 100% authentic, we received a large stick of butter in our butter chicken. The chicken tikka masala was really good as was the Naan bread and pakoras. Very nice and friendly service, and they have KingFisher beer.

I love Indian food. LOVE it! And, my wife and I are always on the lookout for a new Indian place to try out. Well, one day, while shopping along West Wickham, we ran across Curry House...WHAT A FIND! golden food and service, will be visiting again.
