Worst curry I have tasted never again

Horrible experience. I ordered a soup and a curry. The driver mishandled the order so much that the soup was spilt outside the box, onto the bag. Icannot eat the soup I paid plus both containers in the bag are in horrible condition. I contacted the restaurant and they advised me I constant Just Eat as the restaurant has nothing to do with the driver.

Nothing special. Previously purchased from here in Dec 2023 and had enjoyed it. This time not so much.

My friend and I went to this restaurant for dinner. On entering the restaurant we were left standing at the door. I had to ask can we please have a table. Once sat down no one came over until I asked can we have a soft drink ( if you want alcohol you need to take your own) I then had to call someone over again to take our order, then realised we hadn’t ordered poppadoms and dips first. We were then half way through these when we were told our food was ready. I said can you please give us 10 mins. We had to ask a 2nd time for water, food arrived which was very nice but not very hot. We had just finished when the bill was put on the table, then once paid the door was ready to be opened for exit! on getting up from the table I said how very slippery the floor was and that it was dangerous I was ignored. Not once did anyone come over to ask how the food was did we want another drink, a dessert or anything. The person who took the order was very off not friendly and made us feel we shouldn’t have been there. A shame because we will not be going back ever!

Very reasonably priced, r5 for two main, rice, parathyroid, a side and poppadoms/ chutney. Food was excellent, thoroughly recommend the Shampor Special

First time I’ve ordered from here the food was very tasty and looked presentable only negative thing I would say is a couple of the dishes were a little salty but otherwise great. The driver was very polite. Will be ordering again.

Very nice restaurant. The buffet on Sunday is an attractive draw, but it would be most rewarding if the food was topped up, and actually hot. I don't get the regimental requirement in the need for the 'strict' plate policy. Surely washing up liquid isn't a luxury. Very family and group orientated so can get very noisy. I don't like the proprietor standing, observing and watching everything you do when near the buffet, but he does mean we'll. I would recommend but not sure if I would go again, what with it going up from £12 to £14.95 and a can of coke at £3.50.

ate buffet, didnt like it, naan burnt, curry too sweet, bhaji too hard, fried aubergine dark and no taste, rice pudding too runny and too sweet. not impressed with buffet. wont be coming for it again. i dont know what things on the menu are like. i dont recommend buffet. it s halal so no juices in the meat… big difference. this is bengali, not indian, in my experience indian are best restaurants then pakistani then bengali are worst.

We called in to this little gem of a restaurant tonight as we were too tired to travel in to the city. WOW! How glad we are that we did. Absolutely amazing flavors - easily as good as the delightful meals that we have eaten in India. Service was discreet and prompt and the atmosphere laid back and relaxed. Sadly we are here only here for a couple of days, if this restaurant were closer to our home town we would become regular customers!

First time ordering as my usual shop was closed, but unfortunately I won’t be ordering here again. Not sure what they gave me but that was not Ceylon it lacked actual flavour but all I could really taste is chilli and scotch bonnet. Never had Ceylon with vegetables that are not grinded into the sauce. I could see peppers/onions etc It was a thick consistency and disappointing and tasted nothing like Ceylon. Also was given the burnt parts of the pilau rice. The korma was less than impressive too

The food from The India Grill is fantastic! I get the Hossain mutton and it's such a special treat everytime. Wonderfully cooked food.

First and certainly not the last time eating Indian food. Our order arrived on time and the driver was very nice. Besides the food we ordered, we also got an "extra" dish. All in all, the food was very, very tasty.

I asked for it as soon as possible and I was told about an hour, I think it came within 20 minutes, great stuff. The food as always was delicious and tasty, thank you 👍🏼

Hadn't eaten here before although my friends had. I was bowled over by the quality of the meal. The food, and we only ate vegetable dishes, was notably fresh and beautifully cooked. The staff were efficient and extremely welcoming and friendly. I will eat here again as soon as the occasion presents itself. Excellent.

Wow, that was an exceptional curry. Had a chicken phall, pleasingly fiery and very tasty. Rice and naan good quality. Delivery took a while but all good when it got here. Definitely recommended.

Unbelievable. Best vindaloo I've ever had! Lemon Chana aloo is an amazing dish and the crispy onion bhajis are the best in the area . Thank you India grill and never stop what you're doing!

Indian cuisine (especially Goan cuisine) wasnt so great. Xacuti & vindaloo wasn’t tasting the way it should be tasted. It was a plain simple ordinary chicken / prawn curry. Also was bit disappointed with cleanliness of plates & cutleries too. Over all atmosphere is good & the newly joined waiter was sweet.

It’s worth at all. No salmon in the seafood grill although it said in the menu. Huge difference from Kaven grills. Never buy again. Had to wait ages for delivery .

On time but usually comes a lot quicker. Delivery was about 1h15mins on Friday night, usually around 30mins on a week day

Food hot and very tasty and came well within the time

well this was not great, the mutton chilli masala was not balanced in flavour, the garlic and chilli was incredibly harsh, chicken Hossain was Sause had separated, i could go on here, lets just say it was disappointing, and the chef needs to taste there food, and we all agreed it was not great experience.

Food good has always, was hot and packed well. Love this restaurant.
