Saathi in Enfield

My husband introduced saathi restaurant to me and my family. Since then we have only enjoyed their food. The curries are absolutely delicious. Their vegan dishes are also stunning. I highly advice their food and their service.

I am a massive foody and have been back here time and time again. The food is fresh and very reasonably priced. The staff are always friendly. I wouldn't go to another Indian in Enfield :) (also pre covid the tables were pretty much 1 metre apart so good for social distancing)

The food at saathi restaurant was absolutely amazing!! The use of the best spices in the curry made the food delicious. The staff was really caring and helpful and the atmosphere around us made me feel like i was taken care of. I highly advise you to come and take a visit as it would be a perfect place to go for a family night out.

The authentic Indian food you will get here. The taste of sizzling nawabi and jalfrezi will bring you back again and again. The staffs are soo welcoming and friendly as well. Highly recommended who ever wants to try the best Indian cuisine.

Great atmosphere and helpful staff, I felt very welcomed into the restaurant and stuff took care of us. The food very nice and was done in a unique style. The restaurant itself had a vibrant atmosphere, would highly recommend for a family night out.

Just seen recent reviews. All I would say is 1) check your bill. 2) Make sure you had all the drinks on the bill 3) If you pay by cash make sure you get any change before leaving a tip if you want to. Last time we were there we were not given the change back we thought was due. Too polite to ask for it so inadvertently left a much bigger tip than we had planned.

Well where do I start the waiter does a fake cockney accent,the menu is bigger than Gemma Collins,our waiter was no rainman couldn’t add up to save his life tapping away on his calculator,showing me numbers like I’m buying a snide belt in MumbaiIn conclusion the food is poor,it’s vastly overpriced a cramped Wendy house with repugnant staff,won’t be going here again sticking to Enfield tandoori.

£5 95 for a lime and soda? And poor tasteless curry! That’s all you need to know!!!!!! Rice ok rest was bland don’t go even with money off !

Firstly, the menu is huge and could easily be condensed to become more manageable for customers to take in. Does every variety of prawn curry need listing? Great starter, King Prawn Puree, which genuinely was great. But it went downhill after that. Main course and sundries were pretty average. Then when the bill came, it was clear it had been doctored to squeeze money out of us. Calculator was brought over and the fault was exposed. Accidental mistake?, not sure, but £103 for 3 diners with only 2 rice, 2 side dishes and 1 beer each doth butter no parsnips. I’ve reviewed my favourite Indian in Enfield on Trip Advisor previously and it’s back to that one I go!

3 of us attended on a Wednesday as they were part of the eat out help out scheme. Despite the scheme they made our bill £103 between 3 people. We had 2 sides and 2 rice between 3 and only 1 beer each. There were clear markings on the bill where they had tampered with it. We eventually got to the correct price as we knew it was incorrect. Poor standard in food and won't be back. Avoid if you can.

Have been coming to Saathi since it first opened its doors many moons ago. It has always been a cut above. Until now. We only order about 5 or 6 times per year now. We had noticed that on some occasions for some reason Sunday evening takeaways were always slightly poorer quality than at other times. However today was the final straw. Ordered our usual of chicken tikka masala, Bombay aloo, naans, matter paneer x 2, king prawn delight, lamb tikka, pilau rice Karahi chicken. The mattar paneer has zero seasoning- nothing, we ordered 2 as always so good - this time we threw the 2nd tray away. The chicken tikka masala again had no discernible flavour. Same with the Bombay aloo. The naans had had no butter applied and were dry with no doughy texture, very poor. The karahi chicken was almost English in its flavouring. I am so disappointed. I called the restaurant to alert them and whilst they listened to what I had to say all they could do was offer me £10 off my next visit. This despite me spending over £60 on the takeaway. I declined and told them that in all honesty I would not be coming back if this was the new standard of their cooking. Such a shame - Chase Side Tandoori has always been 2nd best to Saathi but fir us that is where we will be ordering from from now on.

Food great, but told a hour and 10 mins to pick up we waited a extra hour outside without a word we should of been told from the off it would be a another hour ended up not really eating it as too late by them disappointed

Always busy so need to book. Never been disappointed. Great for takeaway and they home deliver too. Parking can be a problem.

Delicious food, great advice given, prices good and house wine excellent. Small and cosy , friendly staff who are so welcoming and relaxed about how we wanted to pace our evening.

A lovely meal. It was our first time visiting Saathi and we will definitely be returning. Staff were very attentive and helpful. I had a delicious biriyani and my husband had lamb tikka. Thank you for a lovely evening

This is the first ever review I’ve written for a restaurant. Being of Bengali extraction and having moved to this area recently, I fancied a spice infused fish concoction for the cold and virus laden weather, with some steamed white rice base. This restaurant prepared a takeaway pangasius sizzler with the most tender and generous offering of fish, sizzled and balanced mix of turmeric, garlic , ginger and chilli. It revived, comforted and sustained a tired and sluggish metabolism, restoring my faith in life and goodness. The food in the takeaway boxes appeared fresh, beautifully garnished and appetising.Truly lovely. Thank you.. My three year old toddler had only the rice and scant smatterings of targa daal. She got a little present for the festive season as we picked up our food. Highly Recommend.

Got a table without a reservation on a Saturday night and the staff were very attentive. I was dissapointed by the both the lack of heat and the consistency of the Vindaloo. If you are a fan of heat ask them to do the phall for you.

I have been using this Indian for takeaway for many years the food is always great and delivery comes when or before they say.

My Mum, Sister and myself thought we would try out a different Indian restaurant to our usual as we were passing it on our way back from a tiring day in London.

The food is delicious and full of flavour. Mac the owner is attentive and always makes time for a chat. I would highly recommend the Chicken Pathila!!!

Food is excellent, servive is excellent what's not to like. Arrived without a booking, last m8nute thing. Waited a bit at the bar and then seated. Reasonable price for seriously good tasting food.

Delicious well-cooked fresh food, goid friendly service. Will come again. I had tandoori sea bass and alu gobi.

First time I went to this restaurant and I found everything extremely tasty and service and ambience was very good too. Would definitely go again, a really great meal .

Have been a few times now and the place never disappoints. There is lots if choice, but despite this you can still let the staff know what you like and if it’s not on the menu and existing dish can be tweaked to suit. Abdul in particular knows his stuff.

Never had a bad curry here the food is absolutely superb. It gets understandably busy so it's best to book. You won't be disappointed.

The dishes on the menu are not the “samey - sloppy” sauces that you get else where. Their menu is varied and the dishes are all individually spiced, with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. Lovely Dahl, Tandoori chicken, delicious rice, prawn and lamb curries, Well worth a visit!

Heard good reports so my wife & I thought we would try a take-away or delivery to be exact.

I have been here for three years and this is consistently the best Indian food I have had. The spice is perfect: not overly spicy and really tasty!!! I have tried a lot of Indian food and I keep coming back to this place. The staff and service are amazing as well

We have been going to Saathi since they were first opened. Our regular Friday night meals are always spot on, great service from friendly owner and staff, good value, tasty dishes, well done to Saathi and the team. We know how hard you work to keep up the standard.

Typically 'British-Indian' style menu, with no surprises. My usual test of a good curry is the jalfrezi and and the dhal. Jalfrezi was quite good, the dhal dull...

The food at Saathi is good quality and it is a shame that the same cannot be said of the management. Wednesday evening is not known as the busiest night of the week, but there were three tables of guests in spite of the February rain. The main problem was that the manager seemed unaware of this, sat at the front with his phone on loud and shouted to his staff in local language whenever he wanted. This was at odds with the courteous waiting staff but spoiled the evening. When questioned on the matter, the manager made no attempt to apologise but simply walked off. There are better places to go for a pleasant Indian meal.

We went for an “early doors” meal, and was surprised how busy it was at that time.

Nice selection though quality is nothing special but never bad. Service is very hit and miss. Seems to be always busy. Place needs a redecor.

Went for an evening meal from a raffle prize that I won at a festival earlier in the year. It had expired last week but they still kindly let us use it. They were extremely friendly and attentive even though most of our bill was paid for and were happy to let us take left overs in a doggy bag. The restaurant has a really nice vibe, all the staff were lovely and welcoming, and the food was piping hot and fresh. I will definitely return and recommend a meal here to others.

Lovely fresh food. Every dish had a very individual taste. There are the usual dishes you find on most indian menus but also many unusual interesting dishes Ive not tried before. Tonight I had tikka beef for starters followed by a sizzling dish of duck. It was the best indian meal Ive had for years. I will definitely be back. We have to travel from another town to visit this restaurant but it is so worth it. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

Super Excellent food and services and is always nice clean... they are so friendly. And the restaurant look really nice and the atmosphere is lovely.

Ive only ever ordered from here by phone. The food is okay, nothing special, its hard to find a decent Indian in the local area - but I’ve had worse. I decided to give it one last try when an absolute animal answered the phone saying I was out of the delivery area when I’ve ordered from this place twice before, which was confusing. The level of rudeness was astounding, he had zero customer service to begin with, even before the location issue arose!! Disgusting person and should not be working in hospitality that’s for sure, I will never ever be eating from here again. Nasty people.

We regularly visit Saathi, the staff are lovely and the food is delicious. Will be back again next week with out a doubt.

Have been eating here regularly since it opened and have always found the food excellent. Lamb Bhuna particularly good.Tables a little squashed together but only real issue.

I have heard from many people that this is the best curry house in Enfield but they are very wrong. The food was average, the service was average and they rushed us out (even on a Thursday??). I won’t be coming back here again, there are many better alternatives for a great curry.

Love this place, does great stuffed parathas. Never disappointed with the food. Eat in and take away. The place itself wins no awards for decor but it doesnt matter, its cosy, the foods great and the staff are friendly. What more do you need.

This place is worth a visit. Typical food choices, but well presented by friendly Attentive staff. Recommend the Jalfrezi dishes, all good value.

Very nice food but appalling service. Maitre d very anxious to take orders, not concerned at all about making people feel comfortable and welcome. A real shame as the food is tasty, but I would hesitate to return due to the service.

I visit this Indian on a regular basis and it is totally spot on. The food is tasty and the service is outstanding. I have been to loads of Indians around the country but not one has even come close to tasting as good as Saathi. This restaurant is a little gem.

Came here for dinner and had a very nice time. The waiters are nice and the food is very good. The Biryani tasted very good and the Naan bread also tasted nice.

Went here with friends and wasn’t disappointed in the food. The meat was very tender and easy to eat and wasn’t chewy. The service was ok.

I’ve been here a couple of times and I must say it’s one of my favourite Indian restaurants in North London. The Biryani is absolutely delicious and the king prawns too. Received a warm welcome and would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Scathing has always been our favourite, but last night it was terrible. Overlooked tandoori and all dishes swimming in grease. Very upset as we were looking forward to our favourite local!

I went there for diner and I have to say it’s the worst curry I’ve ever had. My prawns weren’t fresh and curry tasted worst than ready made from the supermarket... Really disappointed

Amazing food, great value for money. Would recommend for a birthday or special occasion. I opted for the vegetable masala and peshwari naan, it was lovely and very sweet, costing around £11 combined. The staff were very attentive and provided a efficient service. Make sure you get there early as it gets packed quickly on weekends!

The staff at Saathi are welcoming and friendly. The food is always perfect and great to see they have a 5 star rating for cleanliness which unfortunately many restaurants in Enfield do not!

Having been to Saathi for the first time this time last year, I gave it a glowing report, as we’d enjoyed the whole experience. Unfortunately, we weren’t so thrilled this time. The service was quite sloppy and we had to have a word with someone in charge quite soon after we’d arrived. The menus were rather thrown down on the table with no greeting or asking what we’d like to drink. There were quite a few waiters standing around the bar having conversations with each other, and one was even on his phone. This is while we were waiting to be attended to, and were right near the front door so they knew we were waiting. Not a good start and my husband was very cross, as it was my birthday meal.

Been her a few times and will keep returning, lovely good, waiter help decide what dish if you're unsure as to what to choose. Quite small so need to book in advance especially weekends!

This place has great food, fresh ingredients with loads of options to choose from. It's a nice and cosy place and staff are very friendly and provide exceptional service. Very clean and hygienic environment. Hard to come accross restaurants like this nowadays that tick all the boxes.

I went into Saathi and was sitted straight away . The staff were polite and friendly and didn’t mind that there was a large group of us. Me and my family enjoyed various courses and overall the environment was great. Excellent customer service and I would recommend Saathi to my friends and family. And definitely will be coming back. :)

Found Saathi just a 1/4 mile from my new flat. Excellent restaurant, well prepared and varied selection of courses. Friendly staff, well presented interior and good value for money.

Went here on a Friday evening. Food was good and the waiter was very friendly had a very good coconut ice cream for desert. Good Indian food would definitely recommend.

Three of us ate here on Sunday evening, this restaurant never lets you down, great food and service. Always a favourite choice.

Clean and small restaurant. We asked the waiter for his recommendation and we were not disappointed. The food is fresh and very tasty. The draught beer is also good. I look forward to going back.

we visited saathi first time.Amazin food we are very impressed with food and The service was excellent staff were very pleasant was nice, relaxing,clean and tidy. we will return and we do recommend this establishment.

We have been here quite a few times and always choose a Sunday as it’s quiet and it can be chaotic on a Saturday. We forgot it was Mothers a Day! What a disaster! The restaurant was chaotic and grubby, with several waiters wearing food on their shirts. Boy were they miserable. Not a smile! After 20 minutes we finally managed to order. We should have known at that point. An hour later still no food. We asked a waiter to find out how long the food might be. He said half an hour, so we said, no, we’re off. He then said 15 minutes. No, we said. The manager came over to talk us round. He said it was coming. He would deduct a side dish. We said not to worry as I was no longer hungry. No, please, he said. I’ll take off a main dish. We caved. We shouldn’t have. The food was poorly cooked, very poor quality, not very hot, with hard meat. Tiny portions. Clearly rushed. My husband ate his. I left mine. Did you enjoy your meal a waiter asked - the first time we had been acknowledged all evening. A long look! He walked off. The manager came back with the bill, put it down and walked off. Rude staff, chaotic atmosphere, very poor quality food and tiny portions. And to watch around ten takeaways go out at the expense of diners added insult to injury. If you can’t cope, say so. Don’t mess people about! Regulars no more!
