Saathi in Enfield

Honestly, the best restaurant I've ever been to, everything was yummy age Z literally everything there was nothing that wasn't yummy. Thank you to all the Kay staff who accommodated all our needs and treated us like VIPs the food spectacular highly recommend anyone and everyone to go lovely local gem.!!!!

This is the third trip to Saathi over three years (2019,2022,2024 respectively) and WOW! Every single time I eat here I am blown away! Tonight in particular the owner suggested the Nawabi, and suggested the lamb instead of the chicken…yum yum yum! If you are in Enfield, passing through, or on a quest for the best, GO TO SAATHI!

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Food is always top notch and the service is warm, friendly and efficient. Dine in or takeaway, always to a high standard 👍

A great Indian restaurant in Enfield - and reasonably priced. The food is clearly of a high quality and very well cooked. Unlike many other Indian restaurants, there was no grease or excessive oil in the dishes. Delicious.

I just ordered the prawn and vegetable biryani along with a paneer shashlik starter, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. I had specifically requested the dishes to be made spicy, hoping for a burst of authentic Indian flavors, but what I received was far from it. The prawn and vegetable biryani lacked the depth and richness typically associated with this dish. The spices were barely noticeable, leaving the overall flavor bland and uninspired. The paneer shashlik was equally underwhelming, with the paneer itself being somewhat rubbery and the seasoning failing to deliver the expected punch. For those familiar with and craving authentic Indian cuisine, I would recommend giving this place a miss. The dishes I tried didn’t come close to capturing the vibrant and complex flavors that make Indian food so special. It’s disappointing, especially after requesting extra spice, to end up with food that falls so flat.

What a great restaurant! We were warmly welcomed, the establishment was very smart and clean. The food was absolutely superb and very reasonably priced. The staff were exemplary, friendly and efficient. In summary - the best Indian restaurant in the area.

Recently moved to the area and now already had the fantastic experience of enjoying food from Saathi twice in 3 weeks. Amazing flavours and excellent value for money. Friendly and considerate staff and I am so pleased I got one of the best restaurants, I have ever come across, so close to home! I am already planning a next visit with my family. Thank you, Saathi, for a lovely evening.

Normally very nice. However .I got delivery nearly 2 hours late and a dish was missing couldn't be bothered to call to complain because I'd waited so long for delivery.

Ordered a take away for 14 on Sunday. Food very good and order accuracy spot on. Would use again if having another family function.

Three of us came in around 8 pm on a Friday without a booking, we were seated quickly with no fuss. There were three other tables, two of which were single diners. There's only about 9 or 10 tables (estimating from a poor memory so it's there or there abouts). We all had a good meal with more then enough selection to choose from with all the usual options. We were given the obligatory chocolates at the end with the bill and offered a small postprandial drink. Would have given a little more score in the atmosphere but one guy routinely watched something on his phone with the volume up - as he was a big lad and talking to himself a fair bit we obviously shut up and just ignored him.

A brilliant little restaurant, food comes out quickly and steaming hot. I like the bring the bread out separately direct from the oven, instead of putting it on the trolley with everything else. A good selection of red and white wine too.

A real gem in Enfield. Nice starters, side and main dishes at an affordable price and very efficient service. We are curry lovers, deep passionate for Indian spices and culinary we approved. It opens for Sunday lunch which is really nice. Don't miss it !

Had takeaway, delicious food. Had chicken bhuna husband lamb vindaloo. Would definitely recommend.

Foods very good and so is the service. But they do need some air conditioning for the summer time. Not very nice to eat in during the summer time

I actually had a takeaway. It was a wet horrible evening; had busy day in the office and fancied an indian meal. It was worth it. Absolutely delicious. Cheered me up. I had Tikka Masalas Chicken, Saag Aloo, pilau rice and chapati. So good one of the best indian meals I have tasted in years. My son had his stag meal there and recommend to us. Would recommend trying 100% Had to ring the restaurant to let them know it was that good

First time coming here and I the prawn starter which was really nice and tasty, my mom ordered a curry (forgot what it's called) with garlic naan which was also good. Dishes were filling and ended with a coconut ice cream. Overall we paid about £37. The staff were nice and welcoming too

This was our first time at Saathi, the starters were Nawabi Kebab and king prawn puri , both were hot and very tasty, for main course we had mixed sizzling nawabi, which was Lamb,Chicken and King Prawn, absolutely delicious. My wife had Lamb Naga which was very spicy, for sides we had sag ponir and bhindi bhaji both were cooked perfectly. The food here is top notch, cooked with pride. Make this the next place you visit. Hugh.

Great range of dishes, king prawns done very well and v. reasonable price

The starters were cold and bland, no real flavour, mixed kebab and chicken marinated in spinach and coriander was tasteless! THE MAIN WAS TASTY, WE ENJOYED THAT! I was disappointed that when we got to pay everyone else was given a free baileys at the end of the meal, me and my mother were not even offered one!! That was rude!! They didn't even say thank you or bye as we left!! So I didn't bother giving a tip!!

Have visited regularly since it opened. Great quality local Indian. Will be back soon.

We enjoyed our dinner very much!! Everything was great. We had tikka masala lamb and babber duck with rice, saag aloo and mattar ponir.

Whilst the flavour of the food was excellent the portion sizes were stingy to say the least. Just about covered the bottom of the takeaway container ! A lot to pay for the quantity. Please look into this.

This has to be the best Indian in Enfield. The price, team food etc was amazing last night as always. We don't go out much but we will always find money for this place..

Really pleasant experience visiting for a curry and a pint of lager. Typical British curry house: white tablecloths, curry staples, poppadoms and draft Kingfisher. Staff were friendly and the price was very reasonable. Will be back. Missing a star as I didn't think the meat was of the highest quality but the price reflected that. Equally, I think most curry houses would be similar.

We get a take out from here most Wednesdays! The food is consistently good and tasty with generous portions and excellent service. They are especially good with their vegetarian selections including sides and mains. Well Done Saarhi.

Myself and 3 friends visited on a Tuesday evening. We found the staff very miserable. Chicken Balti was nothing like a Chicken Balti, not even served in a Balti dish. Very bland. Chicken Pathia ok. Extortionate drink prices, £5 for a glass of coke….. Yes you read it correct £5. Bottle of Cobra £6:50. We will not be returning. Another restaurant can have our £101.00 next week.

Today just 20 minutes before i bought the dinner from this restaurant and i must tell everyone about the chicken rogan dish, there are more tomato pieces than the chicken pieces..is that chicken rogan or tomato josh.. moreover food is pathetic and tasteless. I can't imagine why i spent 22 pounds in this restaurant for the dinner.

I feel sad leaving 2 stars but the food was bland I had to add a ton of pink salt (korma, veg curry and lamb briyani) lamb in the briyani was tough too. I'm sad because the other reviews left by people got me excited thinking this was going to be one of the best Indians in Enfield smh

Dined in for the first time. The food was all on point from the starters to the mains. Aromatic and tasteful. Very friendly staff as soon as we stepped into the restaurant. From the welcome to making sure we were comfortable. The customer service was excellent. I would definitely recommend.

This is our 2nd time here and we love it, the staff are friendly and always make sure we have what we need and are comfortable. The food is simply gorgeous, the best Indian food I've had by far. We come all the way from Essex to eat here.

Great service, and the food excellent, was recommended a curry dish,and it turned out to be amazingly good,with great portions,will visit again for sure,highly recommended.

We have been going to the restaurant for quite some time, mainly on a Sunday, when we started going the food and service you could not fault, but as time went on it seems to of gone down hill, food oily and onion bajaihs well over cooked, I complained which they did not like, I am not paying for something that I’m not happy with and not going to eat. And when we went to go in there a few weeks later we was Told by the man that always likes to stick out his tongue that management can’t serve us as we don’t like there food isn’t that funny. If you can’t comment about what your paying for or if ur not happy with something well what can I say.

The chicken in spicy spinach sauce was delicious as was the lentil soup. Good service. Tuesday evenings are not too busy.

Went for the Sunday lunch special. Food was amazing and service was the right level. Look forward to going back.

Always takes longer than most to arrive at the table. But always worth the wait as cooked fresh and very tasty.

Best Indian food I have had anywhere.

Ordered from here again but have to say – while the food is healthy and flavoursome, the takeaway portions are smaller than your average Indian, a bindi bhaji came but only filled 1/5 of entire box. I ordered my favourite dish sag paneer, which had coconut with tons of sugar. Apparently that's how they do it there but wasn't quite edible. A shame as Saathi is one of the only good restaurants in the area, hoping this is an off night. NB. Happy to say I returned here to dine out and it was a very good experience. Portions still slightly on smaller side but the food was delicious. They also gave me a free side dish after the sugary paneer, which was nice :)

Hour and a half after ordering and when we ring them they answer as if they are doing us a favour very arrogent.

My husband introduced saathi restaurant to me and my family. Since then we have only enjoyed their food. The curries are absolutely delicious. Their vegan dishes are also stunning. I highly advice their food and their service.

Amazing Indian food. Best Indian ive had in Enfield. Shame its so hard to order from. No Website or online menu i can click and order from. Would have had 5* if it werent for there lack of online presence.

Swimming in ghee you can drown in it and potatoes you can put a window through and when I called up I got it’s the cut of the potatoes.

The food was brilliant, portion size was brilliant, the staff were very welcoming and accommodating, very friendly guys.

I use this restaurant for take away foods and they always do good food. Staff are all good people and very helpful and they serve really well.

Slightly hidden gem here, never tried Saathi before, but as our local was closed we decided to give it a try! Great decision, the good was incredible, well definitely be returning to eat here again!

Very poor overpriced! Saturday evening ordered delivery approximately 7.30pm 31/10/20. Waited over an hour before recieved, after phoning to chase, I live approximately half a mile away from this restaurant. Food arrived just warm not anywhere near hot. Incorrect delivery, Chicken Curry was ordered, recieved Lamb and Chicken Curry mixed. Poor quality overpriced, overcooked and possibly over reheated and tasteless. Both my partner and I suffered stomach problems and diarrhoea the next morning. Would give '0' stars but not possible here. Would absolutely not reccomend, or repeat business!

I am a massive foody and have been back here time and time again. The food is fresh and very reasonably priced. The staff are always friendly. I wouldn't go to another Indian in Enfield :) (also pre covid the tables were pretty much 1 metre apart so good for social distancing)

The food at saathi restaurant was absolutely amazing!! The use of the best spices in the curry made the food delicious. The staff was really caring and helpful and the atmosphere around us made me feel like i was taken care of. I highly advise you to come and take a visit as it would be a perfect place to go for a family night out.

The authentic Indian food you will get here. The taste of sizzling nawabi and jalfrezi will bring you back again and again. The staffs are soo welcoming and friendly as well. Highly recommended who ever wants to try the best Indian cuisine.

Great atmosphere and helpful staff, I felt very welcomed into the restaurant and stuff took care of us. The food very nice and was done in a unique style. The restaurant itself had a vibrant atmosphere, would highly recommend for a family night out.

Well where do I start the waiter does a fake cockney accent,the menu is bigger than Gemma Collins,our waiter was no rainman couldn’t add up to save his life tapping away on his calculator,showing me numbers like I’m buying a snide belt in MumbaiIn conclusion the food is poor,it’s vastly overpriced a cramped Wendy house with repugnant staff,won’t be going here again sticking to Enfield tandoori.

Just seen recent reviews. All I would say is 1) check your bill. 2) Make sure you had all the drinks on the bill 3) If you pay by cash make sure you get any change before leaving a tip if you want to. Last time we were there we were not given the change back we thought was due. Too polite to ask for it so inadvertently left a much bigger tip than we had planned.

Sick of orange curry ask for a hot one joke,... rest of meal to be fair was ok ! Then came the kick in the nuts the bill seem to make up the prices? Pint of soda a lime £5.95 taking the piss! First and last time £70 to much for 2 . Over all average don’t bother!

Firstly, the menu is huge and could easily be condensed to become more manageable for customers to take in. Does every variety of prawn curry need listing? Great starter, King Prawn Puree, which genuinely was great. But it went downhill after that. Main course and sundries were pretty average. Then when the bill came, it was clear it had been doctored to squeeze money out of us. Calculator was brought over and the fault was exposed. Accidental mistake?, not sure, but £103 for 3 diners with only 2 rice, 2 side dishes and 1 beer each doth butter no parsnips. I’ve reviewed my favourite Indian in Enfield on Trip Advisor previously and it’s back to that one I go!

3 of us attended on a Wednesday as they were part of the eat out help out scheme. Despite the scheme they made our bill £103 between 3 people. We had 2 sides and 2 rice between 3 and only 1 beer each. There were clear markings on the bill where they had tampered with it. We eventually got to the correct price as we knew it was incorrect. Poor standard in food and won't be back. Avoid if you can.

Really good food and excellent service

Have been coming to Saathi since it first opened its doors many moons ago. It has always been a cut above. Until now. We only order about 5 or 6 times per year now. We had noticed that on some occasions for some reason Sunday evening takeaways were always slightly poorer quality than at other times. However today was the final straw. Ordered our usual of chicken tikka masala, Bombay aloo, naans, matter paneer x 2, king prawn delight, lamb tikka, pilau rice Karahi chicken. The mattar paneer has zero seasoning- nothing, we ordered 2 as always so good - this time we threw the 2nd tray away. The chicken tikka masala again had no discernible flavour. Same with the Bombay aloo. The naans had had no butter applied and were dry with no doughy texture, very poor. The karahi chicken was almost English in its flavouring. I am so disappointed. I called the restaurant to alert them and whilst they listened to what I had to say all they could do was offer me £10 off my next visit. This despite me spending over £60 on the takeaway. I declined and told them that in all honesty I would not be coming back if this was the new standard of their cooking. Such a shame - Chase Side Tandoori has always been 2nd best to Saathi but fir us that is where we will be ordering from from now on.

Starters were disappointing. The mixed kebab lamb was tough, the bhajis very oily. My main dish was alright, but nothing really memorable. The Korma was too sickly sweet for my liking.The breads were good, delivery was fine . Not a terrible experience, but nothing really to get excited about

We eat here at least once a month (normally in but takeaway for now). The curries are rich and flavoursome, the drinks are reasonable and the service is friendly. I particularly recommend the Chicken Harylali or Haryali Jaldiya, an unusual and delicious green chicken dish. The takeaways are keeping us sane during lock down and we look forward to being able to visit again soon!

Food great, but told a hour and 10 mins to pick up we waited a extra hour outside without a word we should of been told from the off it would be a another hour ended up not really eating it as too late by them disappointed

Always busy so need to book. Never been disappointed. Great for takeaway and they home deliver too. Parking can be a problem.
