Really excellent quality food and nice, friendly professional staff. I've never had a bad meal here. Highly recommend it.

We had a delivery tonight,45mins - an hour. 1hr20mins later,after another call,it arrived. We got the take away onto the table and it was far below the temperature you would expect it to be delivered at. I phoned to complain, they put it through to voice mail ! To be fair,the lamb bhuna was tasty,but could find only tiny pieces of mushroom in the mushroom rice ! Overall experience,,,,,,,,we won't be ordering again. It used to be excellent.

Ordered on just eat 2 hours in advance and food was 40 mins late. Half the order was missing, when I complained on the phone I mentioned a refund and they decided not to deliver the food without processing a refund. Awful service and the food that did arrive was cold.

Really bad food, chicken tasted old or reused all the curries tasteless as well it seemed like the sauces were the same really disappointed of what we got after a £65 spend, didn’t send the right curry, wouldn’t recommend anyone to eat here. Most of the food we ordered ended up getting chucked away due to taste. Me and my family all had bad stomachs after having just a few bites of the food. Used to use Albany a lot but seems like the standards have dropped really bad over time. Would advise people to avoid eating food here, me and the family were unwell after 2mins of just having a couple of bites. The owner should be disappointed and should take control and make sure food is fresh and also make sure that the right items are sent out to people. 😡😡😡

Tasty chicken tikka masala but cheap-tasting and slightly too sweet/sugary. Lamb bhuna had a decent gravy but meat was chewy. Dansak. Hot indeed. Decent, nothing to write home about. Curry Connoisseur disclaimer: these opinions were based on a takeaway, which arrived warm enough.

Had food from here before and was very good, however not this time the Chicken Dhansak had so much lemon in it, it was actually inedible!! The Garlic Tandoori was pretty insipid certainly tasted no garlic. The rice and onion bhagi were ok. Will have to find another takeaway. Do not recommend ordering from here

We went there recently whilst visiting my cousin. The samosas and biryanis were very good and the dhal and onion bhajias were among the best we had ever had (and weve been to India). Everything was keenly priced and the service was superb, kind and friendly but not too attentive. Perfect. We will come back when we are in the UK again.

Food is very poor, service is extra poor. Don’t waste your time or money. Charged me £4 for a small plastic bottle of water.

Excellent local restaurant. I always go for the "Veg Set Meal" which is tasty as well as excellent value. A generous mix of dishes. Staff always helpful and cheerful. Recommended.

BYOB Indian restaurant, lovely food

Great food, buffet is superb value for money, staff are always friendly and welcoming. Restaurant is always clean, I honestly love visiting here as the food is always so tasty and freshly prepared. I cannot recommend this place any higher, you must visit! Update Jun 2022: My original review stands, visited today for a birthday dinner and a great time was had by all. The food is still fantastic quality!

Ordered from Deliveroo. Was given an estimated delivery time. Food arrived 2 min "late". The Gentleman who delivered the food was brilliant. So was the food. Tasty, hot, great value for money. If you like Indian food and are in the Enfield area, I cannot recommend them highly enough

It's a lovely place with awesome service. Ambience is soft, the food is fantastic - they've got a menu that could tempt you to come in everyday😋. I'd definitely visit again - with a date😉

Without doubt the coldest food delivery we have ever received. The restaurant is within 3 minutes of our address and yet they somehow contrive to give us food that you can warm up in your fridge. The hottest thing I had with my meal was the Pepsi max retrieved from my fridge. If you need something to warm your insides, avoid this place at all costs.

10/10 cuisine excellent service great atmosphere

If you’re after a takeaway and want a curry then this is the place for it. No frills, but great tasting food every time and food is always delivered with a smile. I usually get the chicken Dhansak with has lots of chicken in it and slightly spicy. The cheese Naan is also full of cheese as it should be! Those with negative reviews and fancy requests, what do you expect? It’s a standard Curry house!

Terrible service! Last order as a regular client!! My order was late 50 mins and one item was missing. They did nothing about it. I was told manager would call me. Haven't heard of them. That's not how you are supposted to treat your customers!!!

Went for a family meal out and this place certainly ticked all the boxes. The service was great from all staff members and the food was good. The Chicken Jalfrezi is a must to try. A large variety of options on the menu to suit everyone's tastes buds. Would definitely recommend.

As a monthly Monday night regular, on recent visits, the food has been freshly prepared and very nice.

We ordered Garlic Chilli Tikka Masala, Chicken Dhansak, Chicken Tikka Birani, Bombay Potatoes, Nan Bread & Pilao Rice. The food was fresh, very tasty and service very efficient.

Disappointed! Review score was good, so my expectations were high! Service was very friendly. I ordered a takeaway. I was disappointed with the portion size of the starters. 2 starters, which combined for about what I expect from one. Most of the main course was thrown away. I hate onions, so I asked for no onions. When I got it back and opened it, it was covered in onions! Yes, I can take them off, but the chicken now tasted heavily of onions. After eating 2 pieces (tikka), I couldn't eat the rest! Not an enjoyable experience

Albany Tandoori is a very good Indian Restaurant. I get take away from there. They always deliver the food very promptly. The staff are very decent and professional. And their food is fantastic. Their Chicken Madras, is fantastic, and their onion bahgis and veg samosas are delicious. Their Sag Aloo is to die for. They are also very reasonably priced. If ever you are in the mood for a good Ruby Murry, I would highly recommend Albany Tandoori. Go on treat yourselves!!!

I first visited Albany Tandoori twenty-five years ago. I had been told that people who had moved to another part of the country would return to eat at the restaurant. One from Scotland! Rubbish, I thought. But, I am myself guilty of moving away and being lured back by the authentic, fresh and consistently excellent quality of each dish. I am living in Enfield again now and it's the only restaurant I use regularly, the only one I can trust implicitly, especially when guests visit us!

Food was never delivered, but the restaurant has told just eat that hit has been delivered so I can’t even talk to just eat about the order. Restaurant not answering the phone. An absolute disgrace of a restaurant. And I’ll be coming down to see you to get my money back you thieving little c**ts.

Have ordered a few times from here. Normally delivery is very slow but the food is good so not really a problem. But this time it was slow and not nice. So watered down that I could see the water running around the plate. Tasteless. I'm OK waiting for good food but not for tasteless food so time try somewhere different. Shame really.

Top marks on taste but at £4.95 the king prawn butterfly wing was a complete rip off. One huge piece of batter and practically no prawn. Very disappointed.

Awesome food. Chicken tikka jalferzi in particular my absolute favourite here. Deco abit dated and could be bought to the 21st century but food is great.

I normally order from here but I won’t again. Food was awful! the onion bhaji has changed the recipe or something they had this awful mash inside I don’t know if there is a different suppler or something but that was normally 1 of my favourite side order. Had to throw them in the bin and the lamb tikka and lamb curry meat was so tough a chewy I think. Such a shame as normally food is really nice

My chicken in the curry was hard I phoned them up they apologised and sent another one and it was still hard I’m not happy at all chicken tasted like they used frozen chicken

We decided to try a takeaway meal from this restaurant on a Saturday night having read good reviews and were very impressed. The food quality and flavour was exceptional and highly authentic. This was easily the best Indian meal that I have had in a long time and will definitely be ordering from Albany again at the next opportunity. Highly recommended

I have orders from Albany Tandoori before ordering the same food, on this occasion the food was not good, the king prawn korma was watery and tasteless, the rice box was not completely full, onion bhaji’s were warm/cold, nan bread was ok, very disappointed with the meal and a waste of money. :-(

The food from this restaurant is the best. Really tasty and big portions. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone who loves a good curry.
