Curious Kitchen in South Gloucestershire

I had breakfast here every day during my stay. The staff are always friendly and professional. Breakfast is self service except for eggs. Scrambled egg is available from the buffet but if you would like poached egg or egg Benedict. You order that from the waitress and it is bought to the table. Tea, coffee and toast are also table service. There is a good variety of food available including cereal, fresh fruit for English breakfast and Danish. It is a nice environment and it makes a nice start to today. Recommended.

Not the experience that you would expect at an "awarded" restaurant as advertised. Soup was very watery and with no much taste. 2 mini arancini ( the size of a grape each, no exaggeration), this was a shock, an insult to serve (£ 6.50). Ok on the menu it's in the small plate section, but what was served is literally an 'amuse bouche'. Venison excellent, very well balanced flavours Rump steak nicely presented and meat tender and tasty! Standard caramel tart. Service was polite but very slow, with not much attention to customers needs...had to wait 20 min to order a dessert, and remind for water top up several times.

What a wonderful experience, food was amazing, everything cooked to perfection, starters, main courses and desserts, great service, ideal ambience and such amazing staff, all smiling, polite and super efficient. Prosecco on arrival was a lovely welcome. Favourite member of staff; Joe, lovely young man. Live singer. 15/10 thank you, can’t wait to do it again!

Dined here whilst staying at the hotel. Produce used was very good quality, the atmosphere was lovely and chilled, staff were very friendly. We were mainly served by Naomi who was a real credit to the place and we were grateful for Bella's dessert recommendations.

We visited for afternoon tea on Sunday, and it was alright. The sandwiches were pretty average to be honest, but the sausage roll was lovely. Nice variety of cakes and the scones were fresh. Service was slow though, given it was really quiet we had to wait quite some time before spotting a staff member to ask for drink refills.

Beautifully presented food, nicely designed and thought about. Good lighting and a stylish, spacious setting. A good place to eat when staying the Aztec Hotel and Spa. The feel is easygoing. Serenna was a great waitress for us - listened carefully to what we needed, and was kind and efficient - thank you!

I came here for a Sunday Roast. It was great! Curious kitchen inside the stunning setting of the Aztec West hotel, does some fantastic food. I also got to try the New Thwaites brewery craft Pale Ale, Paradise no.3 which was delicious. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿: Cripsy Fried Goats Cheese 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀: Roasted ‘Rare’ Beef 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵- Yorkshire pudding, duck fat potatoes, seasonal garden vegetables & red wine jus 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘁: Sticky Toffee Pudding with Icecream Absolutely loved it all. @bristolian_foodie

Came here for breakfast and also an evening meal at the bar area. The breakfast was markedly better. Service was prompt and the food was decent enough. The pastries could be better though. The evening bar is understaffed and quite pricey for what they offer.

Friendly staff and delicious food.

This is personal preference I suppose but I really prefer buffet breakfasts rather than being served and cooked to order. This is for two reasons, the first being it is much quicker, and the second is that it's easier to choose what I want. I also prefer the flexibility to turn up when I want in the mornings rather than needing to book in. The food that I did have was relatively nice and the service was always pleasant, albeit a little slow on a couple of mornings. A little overpriced for evening meals in my opinion.

Had a lovely Sunday Roast today. We were seated at our table and offered water and complimentary bubbles. The bread with balsamic and butter was great! Included in the price of the roast was fresh seasonal vegetables and cauliflower cheese. The beef and horseradish sauce was delicious.

Perfect. Great service. Delicious food. Cost warm decor. No complaints! So impressed we booked for Sunday lunch whilst there. Well done Curious Kitchen! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
